Description of Work: Ravenswood Construction Owners: David and Jay Prenda Bathroom renovation review Ravenswood Construction saved the day! I originally hired another contractor to redo my bathroom and they created an absolute disaster. Ravenswood Construction came in, gave me an estimate (well below the original contractor). Even with all the mistakes they encountered, Dave and Jay came in on budget and on time. Ravenswood had to completely gut the bathroom, correct electrical and plumbing mistakes made by the original contractor, and gave me the bathroom of my dreams! I can not compliment these 2 men enough. I gave them a picture of the bathroom of my dreams and they created it to a T. Even more, they remodeled the bathroom (which is very tiny), suggested moving the plumbing to another wall for the vanity, changed the door to open out instead of in, and now I've gained much needed floor space and love, love, love, how easy it is to clean. The tile work is extraordinary! Jay Prenda is the Rembrandt of tile work. Because the original contractor made a mess of the electrical and plumbing, Ravenswood contacted contractors they knew and trusted to complete the work correctly. Flooring installation Because these 2 men did an excellent job with the tile and bathroom work, I hired them to install Pergo XP wood flooring and ceramic tile. The Pergo was installed in 3 rooms, and the tile was installed in 2 rooms. I have received so many compliments on Dave and Jay's work. Most Important Not only did I receive excellent service and great communication, they clean up their work area every day! When the bathroom flooring had to be done, the toilet was removed. Before leaving for the day, Dave and Jay made sure the bathroom was in perfect working order, the work area was cleaned, garbage removed, and you would never have known they were there (except for the fact that I could see the incredible amount of work they'd completed every day!) Lastly, this father and son work so well together. Each has his own specialty and the other assists in getting the job completed.
