Called them at 10AM. Plumber arrived at 10:30. The whole job was done by noon. I was blown away by the quick response. Would not hesitate to call them again.

I called MJF plumbing and got a quote for replacing my gas hot water heater over the phone. I said that I wanted to research the brand of water heater at the company planned to install. I replied within 1 business day that I wanted them to do the work, and also asked about adding additional equipment, and asked if there was any warranty on the work performed. Three days later I still have not received a response from the company. I inquired again and was told that the company did not want to do the job. Frustrating, especially that they kept me waiting. The price quoted was good, but I have no way of knowing if they actually would have done the job for that price.

Matt Francis installed a Navien tankless water heater and I couldn't have been happier with the overall service and price. Approximately a year later the heater was not working. Knowing that I had three young children Matt immediately came to the home and ran a series of quick tests. He quickly realized the screen for the air intake was clogged. Apparently, when the landscaping company was spreading mulch it was thrown in a manner that caused for particles to get sucked into the unit. Not only did Matt solve the problem quickly and inexpensively but he also taught me how to check the screen in the future to prevent an issue. I would highly recommend Matt for any pluming services but I've come to realize he is one of the most knowledgeable professionals in the area for Navien tankless water heaters and boilers.

I am a new landlord for a house in newport, I am not from here, so I went to Angies list and called a bunch of plumbers, MJF was one of a few to call me back open to checking it out. It took a few time calling back and forth before he was able to send someone out to take troubleshoot some spotting I noticed on the sheetrock ceiling just below the second floor toilet. He ended up sending Mike out, one of his guys. I got a phone call from Mike about an hour later and he was already at the house! Mike was quick to diagnose the problem as most likely a damaged wax ring which he replaced on the spot. We chatted about the toilet, plumbing in general, Mike was highly professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed very trustworthy. I picked his brain about the plumbing on my sump drain pipe too, he answered a few questions of mine, which was nice. The price was the best too, I got a quote from Malones, they wanted $100 just to come out, then $32.50/every 15 minutes of work plus parts, so that would have easily been $160.00 at minimum, and another plumber I contacted quoted me at $250.00 as a set price for a wax ring change. Seriously, go with MJF. You'll get a trustworthy professional plumber at a great price. I will be using them for any future plumbing needs on this rental property.

He was extremely friendly and helpful, suggesting alternate choices that could save me money. Came on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up on his own. Very professional and knowledgable.

The company does not service our area and directed us back to Angie's List to swap the deal for another.

He was good in getting back to me in a timely manner. Dealt with my frustration with my heater.

I called MJF Plumbing and Heating on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a quote because the tank in my boiler burst and I was without hot water and main heating system. My home has a secondary heat source. Matt came by that evening to review the situation and provided a quote. He said that he could have a team there the next day to start the work. I accepted the quote to replace the unit and two men began the work on Wednesday morning as promised. There was one part that was back-ordered but MJM returned on Friday with the part and completed the job. On Saturday the unit stopped producing heat. I called Matt, he came right over and replaced a relay. The unit has been operating for over 30 days now without a problem. The response and attention on a holiday weekend was unbelievable and they did a real nice job. The team was courteous and professional.

Made appointment, showed up on time, did work just fine. Courteous, helpful, efficient. Very pleased. Will add these folks to my list and will recommend them.

Very pleasant, service was quick, the cost was a bit high but the promptness made it worthwhile for me.

I called MJF Plumbing & Heating for a leaking relief valve on the boiler.I left a message in the morning and they returned my call that same morning.I did manage to stop it from leaking and it would be fine till the next day. They came the next day as promised and looked over the problem and some other potential problems waiting to happen.There was no emergency as I first thought but the boiler did need some maintenance repair work.They were in the middle of some emergency repair work and if I could wait until that work was finished.A few days later they called to schedule my work as promised.The owner of the company came to do the work.He was extremely knowledgeable,helpful,and courteous.I was very satisfied with MJF Plumbing & Heating and would recommend them for all your plumbing needs.
