Their selection is vast in a lovely showroom, Their prices are great. The owners, sisters Gail and Lisa are very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I love my new appliances. Thank you for all your help and guidance in my purchase.

We had a problem with our Frigidaire Refrigerator, and it was repaired 7 times in the first 1.5 years, when we complained to Gils owners, they stepped up and got the manufacturer to anti up the full purchase price to us. We were able to apply that to a new (different brand) refrigerator. Now this is service! We will never purchase appliances from any other company as long as we live in this area, because of this fantastic customer service.

Our dishwasher died on a Sunday. We first called the big box chains and were given very vague information about how quickly we could have a new one in stock, purchased and installed. All were saying at least two weeks, plus a charge for installation. We called Gil's when they opened Monday and they were very helpful. Worked with my husband to provide in stock options, explained the features and comparables. He was able to buy one over the phone without even going in. They arranged install with a contractor, and scheduled the install within 2 days. The installer was wonderful; friendly, quick and professional. Total cost was even a little less than the big box stores were quoting. We will use Gil's for all future appliance purchases!

The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, with no pressure to buy. I did not compare prices with other companies, as Gil's was recommended to me.

When remodeling our kitchen we spent several house with Gil's discussing various appliances, how stainless compliments other stainless, needed power for a hood over a viking or wolf range, etc. Ultimately, we went with another company that provided a slightly better price but also happened to have a floor model on one of the appliances we wanted which led to a substantial savings (pure luck not Gil's fault). However, I was rather impressed with the knowledge and attentiveness of the salesperson with whom I spoke.

The arrived on time for the delivery. The dyer had a dent so they said that they could not delivery it, Ordered a new one and brought it back the following weekend.

It went well. I don't think the delivery person was professional.

Purchased a few of the GE Cafe Series appliances - the Convection Micro Hood and a Dual Fuel Stove. Comparison shopped in SE Mass and RI, including the big box stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Sears ...) and did not find a better deal on the Cafe line anywhere. I was having some remodeling done to my kitchen and family room, Lisa one of the owners was kind enough to dig into her rolodex and share some names of local soapstone workers, plumbers and contractors that she has used in the past and trusted. The oven and hood were delivered and the stove was unwrapped and placed in front of where we needed it for the electrician and propane dealer to hook up. They made sure to put heavy cardboard under the stove so it could be moved without scratching the new tile flooring. Once he left and I began to remove the tape and protective coverings I discovered that the stainless steel brightener that was in the warming oven had leaked and caused some rusting to what it was packaged with. A simple phone call to Gil's and a replacement was on it's way along with more brightener. I ordered the appliances in April and due to delays called when we were ready for delivery in July. I didn't give them enough notice to get the appliances delivered when we wanted them. Learned that I needed to give them a few days notice so that they could load the appliances from their off site warehouse. I still got them delivered only a day after I had requested them so I was very happy with that (2 days after I called =-). I would and have highly recommended them to friends and family.

Everything went great from start to finish.

After researching prices at many local appliance stores, I found Gil's to be the lowest price by far. The service was outstanding, delivery was free and on time, delivery men were professional and courteous, AND after all was said and done, sales found additional rebates without my even asking! Excellent!

Patty at Gil's really knows her kitchen appliances! She asked what our budget was, any size limitations, made recommendations in several prices. She did not push. We ordered one sink from a catalog - when it came in, Patty realized we would not be pleased with the finish (too shiny). WE went to the store, inspected, and agreed. She reordered. Next sink was delivered with minor dent. Gil's took it back and replaced with new sink. Their prices are comparable to the big home improvement stores, but they know what they are talking about. Have great service and friendly delivery people.

IT WAS AN OLD REFRIGERATOR, AND WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH IT. THEY ALWAYS ARE ABLE TO FIND OUT THE PROBLEM, AND HAVE IT FIXED VERY QUICKLY. THEY ALSO KEEP THE PRICES LOW ENOUGH FOR US.
