The front stairs look terrific and now have railings for safety! The support post has helped with an uneven part of our kitchen floor.

Very good work. Here every day. Responsive to questions and concerns. When designer mismeasured the build-in cabinet to clear stairway landing, he worked a plan with the designer to partially disassemble the cabinet and reassemble in bathroom with no indication it had been done.

This was a job that was turned down by three other applicants that refused to do it. He dove right in and did it in such a wonderful manner. It's given us ventilation, access to the outside, and a little more light. He cleans up really well, as if he has never been there. When he starts a job, he finishes a job; he doesn't leave you hanging in between. His estimates are fair, he stays within the guidelines, and he never does anything without discussing it with you. He is personable and low key. You can discuss things with him and that's important.

Rich scheduled work in over winter, which was great so that we opened house and work was done - worked around winter conditions, kept in good communication and work was very nicely done Also good protection of areas not getting touched, and very good clean up We used face time to communicate when there were questions, which proved to be a good way to problem solve since i couldn't be at the house Work was done TandM; maybe a touch more expensive than I expected, but results good One issue has been getting final work scheduled - which is why I have given B on punctuality

Rich came out at the time he said he would be there. He was responsive and was able to repair the door on the spot. Even though is was a small project I was impressed with the professionalism and will use A2Z for my next project

We are 75% finished and looking forward to getting a great summer out of my 45' x 10' double deck.

We thought we needed a bathroom remodel- however when Rich came he was very honest and was looking out for our best interests, which we really appreciate. It was more of a consult, which he did not charge us for. He is very responsive and easy to communicate with. If we ever need work, we will reach out to him for sure.

Rich and his crew were by far the best people we have worked with. Rich is extremely professional, arriving on time and communicating effectively. His crew was the same. Rich was up front and honest about the costs. He helped us with the design of the deck (initially it was only going to be stairs but he noted that a deck wouldn't cost much more and would be much more enjoyable). The work was done in 3 days and the clean up was impeccable. We are so pleased we used A2Z and will definitely be calling them again!

Rich and his crew did a fabulous job. They had good suggestions for remedies when they came across an issue, our house is over 100 years old.

Because my home is over 50 years old, challenges appeared as the existing tile work was removed and the new prefabricated Formica counter tops were being installed. First, the counter tops were warped from being stored in a leaning position at the big box store where I purchased them. At no charge, Rich and one of his workers attempted to return them in exchange for non-warped replacements, but found that all the prefab Formica counter tops were bent to some degree. Rich did not charge me for the two hours spent in that effort. After the old counter top and tiles were removed, it was revealed that two walls and the existing cabinets were very off square, requiring that a plasterer re-sheet the walls with blue board and skim coat to square the corner. Despite all these challenges, Rich and his team managed with a good deal of determination and a number of adjustments, to square, anchor, and level the counter tops. The glass and ceramic back splash tile work was installed beautifully, and Rich's team made a door for the 9" cabinet that matched the original cabinet doors handsomely. In addition to the kitchen renovation, I requested that Rich have the plasterer repair some severe leak damage to a bathroom ceiling and walls. When that work was finished, the A2Z team primed and painted two coats on the ceiling, and it now looks like new. Best of all, just as I had requested, Rich and his team managed, despite all the challenges, to finish the renovation save a few minor details before my family arrived for our annual 4th of July celebration! Not surprisingly, I am delighted with my "new kitchen." Thank you A2Z!

Rich and his team are very professional and experienced. Rich was always full of suggestions and helped every step along the way. In this area, it can be difficult to find someone who always answers the phone and follows through on everything they so, however Rich does both and makes the project very smooth! The work was of high quality and we were pleased with the outcome of our new kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms. Thanks again to Rich and team, and we would definitely use them again!

This was a very involved remodel in which a half bath and full bath were redesigned to make two full baths. This construction took bumping into an adjacent bedroom to enlarge the current main bath as well as taking a master bedroom closet as part of the new master bath. A washer dryer combination was also built into the adjacent bedroom closet.They were also able to maintain and remodel a greatly needed hall linen closet.Rich was very attentive to all of our needs. This type of construction and remodel in the middle of winter is extremely difficult for clients and workers alike. Rich personally addressed every phone call and text and then followed up to insure that we were always satisfied.A2Zs foreman, Bern was extremely professional and meticulous with every detail. The work he did on the project construction as well as the beautiful tile and marble work is amazing.The young journeyman carpenter, Steve, was also an extremely hard worker. We were very pleased with the sub contractors Rich works with. The walls and ceilings were finished as if they had always been there. The plumber was also very professional and meticulous in every detail. There was no unexpected down time between phases of construction. We were always kept abreast of what would be happening each day. When a subcontractor was scheduled, they were there . The only hiccup was with the electrical subcontractor. His work was fine however the electrician did not contact the electrical inspector when he was finished. We contacted the city for a final inspection and several small areas needed to be corrected. We are extremely happy with our wonderful new baths as well as our new laundry area. We look forward to working with Rich on our next adventure....the kitchen.

After I explicitly stated I do not want to spend thousands of dollars on this reno, he was NOT listening to his customer and quoted me 20K for this simple job. I've had competitors quote me under 10K for the labor, so I know he was inflating his costs. On top of that- the owner had the audacity to tell me he had to charge me a 20% fee on the materials EVEN THOUGH I WAS BUYING THEM!! I was shocked and so was my husband. Why would anyone charge a fee on materials they don't buy?? When we asked why there's a 20% fee, he said "ok, 10% for you guys, but I have to make my money." This is unacceptable. This man is running a business without any ethics or integrity. How dare you charge someone a fee on something you're NOT even purchasing, shipping, or receiving. Do not waste your time on A2Z Renovations unless you want to waste your money.

Rich was prompt returning my voicemail, and we set up appointment within a few days. He came by and explained that the door can be saved by repairing some of its hardware. He spent some time looking over the door and the track, and after a short time was able to make adjustments to the door so that it works beautifully. I expect to get many more years service from the door. Naturally, I was very pleased that a new door wasn't required and that Rich was able to repair a door that I thought was a goner. I will be calling Rich in the future for other related jobs as they come up in my house....I am very satisfied with his work

Rich is immediately responsive. He will never leave you hanging - we had an unrelated problem, and he called me back while on vacation hundreds of miles away on a weekend. We had a related problem, and he made it right. He is very dedicated to his customers. His workmen are professional, skilled and swift. They know what they are doing, old hands and new trainees both. Very impressive. A problem emerged after the original work was done, and he figured out why it happened and how to fix it, and was on-the-spot in fixing it and communicating to us why it happened and the best way to remedy. This is the best experience I've had as a homeowner with a repairman and his polite, top-tier crew. I am no-kidding going to hire Rich and a2z again any time I need a real professional to work on my home.

My 94-year mother was having a hard time getting into and out of her bathtub. We decided to convert the bathtub to a shower enclosure. Other contractors were concerned about the idiosyncratic original installation of the tub and backed away from the job. We found A2Z on Angie?s list and were attracted by their consistently high ratings. We engaged Rich on a time and materials contract based on a not to exceed estimate. We were thoroughly impressed by Rich and his team. They, especially Rich, worked hard, listened carefully and patiently, completed the work to my mother?s satisfaction, did so in record time in spite of delays from the local inspectors, and stayed within the not-to-exceed estimate. In this day and age it's rare to find a business that treats the elderly with such kindness. My mother said that Rich was the best contractor she had EVER encountered (and that?s a long, long time!).

Rich Bonvegna is very professional and examined the bathroom before stating what could be done. I wanted a spa bathroom with porcelain tile and river rock in the shower and river rock floor. A new toilet, shower system, customer glass shower door, custom vanity, medicine cabinet, lighting, including dimmer. His lead, Bern, did all of the work himself, except the installation of the shower door and the granite top on the vanity. Bern is an expert carpenter and craftsman, with a lot of attention to detail. As a result, the bathroom I wanted is now in my home. Everyday I look at it, I am still amazed at how beautiful it came out. Also, it was my only bathroom, Rich and his team worked around my schedule as much as possible and made the remodel much less stressful. Since I work during the day, his team worked in my home unattended and they are very honest and responsible. There are very few people I would trust to have in my home while I was not there and A2Z is one those people. As far as I am concerned this is my Contractor of choice for as long as they are in business. The price with the superior work is reasonable. Rich, Bern, and Stephen are all extremely pleasant, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend them.

The job went very well. I am very pleased. Rich and the crew were very professional and meticulous. Very satisfied with the work done. The molding in my living room is beautiful. This also required serious thought as my house is 130 years old and has settled about 2 inches in places in my living room. The carpentry work is top notch. Would definitely recommend A2Z Renovations.

We were very pleased with A2Z. The contractor outlined all the options available for the deck renovation and price differences. All contract details were clearly explained in advance. The workers showed up when promised and efficiently performed the work with positive attitude. The contractor notified us that the project would come in under budget, so he arranged to include other home repairs that we wanted to have done. We were provided with all invoices of materials. The entire project came in under the original budget.
