This contractor is usually booked reasonably far ahead, so they may not be able to do the work for a couple of months, but they did quote me pricing fairly quickly 7 were not out of line. There is plenty of cheaper labor in this area but I've had multiple experiences of being less than satisfied with the work. When the Dilts guys came, however, they were fast, efficient, & very user friendly. We had no issue with trusting them if we had to be away from the house either. These guys didn't eff around, they just got it done and the quality was quite good. That's probably why they are too busy to jump right on something. But we thought they were, in the end, worth the wait.

I have been using them for about 6 years for electrical needs. Their craftsmanship is good and they are outstanding as well. They normally do very big jobs but they don't mind working on my house. When another service provider said I needed a new electrical box, they said my box was fine. They are very honest and professional and I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Dilts Enterprises on June 13, 2017 for several electrical projects in my home. Adam called me back, and I explained the projects. We scheduled an appointment one week later on June 20 for Adam to come to my home. He arrived as scheduled to assess the job and indicated he would send an estimate via email by the end of the week. Not hearing from him by the end of the week, I called the following Tuesday, June 26, and left a voice mail that I was hoping to receive the estimate by then. He called me the same day and followed through with an email estimate. Three days later on June 29, I left a message for him stating that I had a few questions about the estimate and would like to speak with him. Not hearing back that day and because I wanted to try to make contact before the July 4th holiday, I called again the next day on June 30, and this time I spoke with a woman. She said that Adam “wasn't back yet” but that she would give him the message and have him call me that same day. Almost two months have passed, and I have yet to receive a return call from Adam. Naturally, I gave up on Adam long before 2 months passed and have since contracted with another Angie's List electrical company. They did a fabulous job and charged 55% less than Dilts quoted!!! If a contractor is not interested or too busy to do a job, why not just be up front and honest and simply tell us homeowners that you are not interested or too busy or the job is too small, or whatever the case may be. This way, we homeowners don't waste our time and energy waiting for calls that don't come. Or, more importantly, delaying our projects that could have been accomplished by a contractor who is happy to have the work. We are busy people too and can pursue other options. Adam showed up like an electrician, but disappeared like a magician!

Dilts' response and customer service is top-notch. This company did the electrical work for a kitchen remodel. A few days after the remodel it was obvious that our old circuit box couldn't handle the increased power demand. I texted Dilts about the issue and he was back at our house within hours (on a Sunday, no less!). Within 24 hours he had a new circuit box installed and we were fully operational.

Dilts Enterprises did electrical work at our home. They were very professional, friendly, and the work got done in a timely manner. We will be using this company in the future and recommend their services!

I have to tell you, I have had a problem with my electrical lines going into my home getting knocked down 5 times now in the last 10 years. It has occurred due to weather and drivers. Each time I tried a new service because I wasn't entirely happy with the previous one. That has change now. I will always call Dilts. They set up a date and came to do the job. The worker (I apologize, but I forget his name) was conscientious and allowed me to talk and give my story as to what happened. He listened attentively and then told me what he felt should be done and explained it in layman's terms so I understood without being condescending. But best of all, he arrived on time at the appointed date and time and the price was less than half of any of the other previous incidences. I will always call Dilts. It is hard to find honest hardworking tradesmen like Dilts that are not trying to pinch every penny you have. I highly recommend them. I only have one minor complaint and it is that they don't always get back to you right away when you call for an appointment or when you try to find information. My guess is that because of their honesty they are very busy, so they forget. If that is the worst, then I will deal with it and never complain about anything from them again.

Everything went great and would highly recommend to anyone in area. Quoted price was right in line with other companies. Tom and his crew showed up on time and worked hard to get the job done which even meant cutting through tree roots. Everyone was extremely nice, detailed, and thoroughly explained the entire process. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. We have an old house with lots of electrical issues and will definitely be using Dilts in the future.

When we have electrical problem, we call them. We used them this past fall and we were quite pleased with their work. They got things done well and in a timely manner. We've used them about half a dozen times so far, over the last 15 years.

Everything went much better than anticipated. Replacing the entrance cable required the coordination of three different entities, The electrician (Mr. Dilts), the electrical inspector middle inspection agency, and the power company. Mr. Dilts coordinated all these participants. Mr. Dilts arrived one hour before the other two were scheduled to arrive and prepared the new cable and weatherhead for the switch over. The inspector showed up on time and the power company showed up about ten minutes early. The power company cut the power and Mr. Dilts and his assistant hooked the new cable into the meter socket within 10 minutes. The power co. rep re-hooked the power to the new cable and re-installed the meter into the socket. The inspector put the inspection sticker on the meter socket box, and the process was completed. The entire process took just a little over an hour. Mr. Dilts was extremely professional and very personable. I knew the procedure so no explanation of what he was doing was necessary, but I am sure one would have been provided if needed or requested. Great job, very reasonable price.

Mr. Dilts was very capable of explaining the work, advising what was really needed, and especially what was not needed. He purchased and brought all the electrical supplies and equipment I hadn't gotten, and his electricians were very skilled in installing roof and gutter heating cables, switches and boxes, wiring, fixing bare wires, installing a range hood, under cabinet lighting, a powder room fan, all new basement ceiling lighting, rewiring the fuse box and adding circuit breakers, removing and adding new motion lights to the front and back doors. They worked very diligently, communicated clearly, were extremely clean, respectful, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The bid was very clear, professional, and well presented, and not hidden from me.

The workers were great. They listened to my concerns and then went to work trying to fix them. They kept me informed as they were working. They even answered a few general contracting questions for me. A great experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

We have had Tom's staff out to our home on 3 separate occasions. Once to replace a bathroom fan. Once to install an outside elec. outlet, and once to install a ceiling light. Each time, the crews were professional and pleasant to deal with. They also cleaned up after the job. Getting tougher and tougher to find contractors like this. We will certainly be using them in the future.

Left message for owner, Tom. He called back quickly and discussed what we needed done. We received his detailed, professional estimate within a few days. Based on other quotes we received, he was moderately priced. As requested, we sent partial payment on 4/2. Tom, his son and another employee arrived promptly at time advised on the 18th. The work was completed within a day by his two employees. They were courteous, skilled and readily answered any questions I had. Jeff returned a week later to install the chord on generator and did a good job. We plan on using them for our future electrical needs. Very pleased with their efforts on our behalf!

Jeff was prompt and courteous. He made sure the problem was solved before he left.

I call up the company the problem we were having for a long time with out door lamppost which was shorting the other side of the house. He diagnosed the problem right away and set up the appointment day. They called me up early in the morning and even notified me they were running late that day. I though that was very professional and they came they finish the job. They cleaned up my yard nicely after they dug up the whole to find a wire. They charged me the price they gave me over the phone. I was really happy with their work and attitude. I highly recommend this company and i would hire them again.

They did good work. They were really accommodating. He took his time and explained everything to me.

The list of items was completed in a reasonable amout of time. Tom provided a clear, detailed quote. The final hot tub wiring was completed shortly after arrival of the tub.

The service man from Dilts Electrical came at the scheduled time and quickly got to work. He was a very pleasant man and installed the lights exactly to my specifications. He cleaned up beautifully and there were no surprises along the way. I really like the effect of the new lighting and would refer others to this company.
