Weckers has installed vinyl flooring in my kitchen, LR, hallway and bathroom and now carpet in one of my bedrooms. I will continue to use their services.

I went to the showroom for new carpet and was promptly helped. Measurements were taken at my home within days. While measurements were taken I inquired about replacing some the flagstone entryway and area around my fireplace. Additional measurements were taken and I was told the stone work wasn't a problem. I soon received an estimate, but no line items for the additional stone work. I responded and immediately received a phone call back. I then went back to the showroom to look at samples of ceramic and porcelain for the potential additional work. And that's when my floor became a wall. I called about my choices for the additional ceramic and to schedule the entire project. No response. I called again and was assured things were progressing. No response. I texted and was informed that I would hear from them soon. No response. I emailed and asked for a follow up. No response. That was over a span of two weeks. So, I brought back all samples to the showroom and engaged another vendor. And for a company that touts their commitment to customer service with large signs as soon as you enter the showroom, I was totally floored by the lack of professionalism and responsiveness that I received. A waste of my time and efforts and I wish I had never gone in the first place.

These people are THE BEST OF THE BEST!! Very helpful and patient in assisting us with our decision. Will definitely be back!!

Project was completed within the agreed upon schedule without issue. A couple areas where we requested some rework were corrected to our complete satisfaction, again without issue. Very professional sale and install.

Loved the service and final product from Weckers. Robert Hessman, Wecker Sales, came to our home and took accurate measurements, provided a reasonable estimate in a timely manner and answered all questions we had along the way. They worked with our schedule and their installers were very professional and took good care of our home. The end result is beautiful. We are thrilled with our new floors!

I would like to open this review with a positive experience with Weckers carpet in the past. I exclusively came to them for this reason. I set up an appointment for them to come measure for an estimate. On the date of estimate, the project manager forgot our appointment while I was sitting waiting for him to arrive. After a half hour of him not arriving, I called him. He completely forgot that we had set up this appointment. We rescheduled for a later time that same day. After giving me an estimate we agreed to contract and I gave a deposit to have the work completed. No date given. I finally called for a date of installation. A date was given. This date was extremely important due to the fact that this was a complete kitchen remodel. All other contracts were scheduled around this date. One week prior to installation the project manager calls to say we have to push back the installation date due to the fact that one of the tiles I picked did not make it on the delivery truck. I feel that it was their responsiblity that the materials to complete the job be available for the installation date that was agreed upon. That was inexcusible. I would have to reschedule all the other contractors due to this delay. They did not make an effort to make this right. I was given my deposit back upon my request. As a result, I will find another flooring contractor that will value me as a customer.

We contacted Wecker's as they were highly recommended here on Angie's List. Cody Carman was our flooring consultant and he came to our house and did all the measuring. He is so knowledgable and immediately catered to our needs. We were initially interested in hardwoods on both levels of our home. The upstairs was all carpet and we later changed our minds to recarpet the upstairs. We discussed our flooring needs with Cody and expressed to him that we were interested in 'value' as we are budget conscious as we just moved into our home. At first we were 'dead set' on 3/4 inch hardwood. We didn't want anything else. Cody explained to us the major differences between 3/4 inch hardwood and 'engineered' hardwood. The biggest difference being how 'engineered' hardwood has many perpendicular placed layers of base material that withstand the many weather variations that occur, especially in southern Pennsylvania. To us, 'engineered' hardwood was the right choice for so many reasons. Cody took all our measurements and set an appointment to come by the store to make selections and work up a price. We dropped by the store in York and Cody was waiting for us with different levels of hardwood floors already picked out for us. We decided on Athens Acaia and a nice value mid grade carpet for the upstairs. Cody took his time working on pricing. We were able to save some money by paying cash. After Cody presented his estimate we informed him that we had an appointment with a competitor the very next day. There was no 'hard sell' at all. We continued to discuss the job and he bragged about the quality workmanship his installers provide. He mentioned their names and that he's friends with them, etc. We decided on Wecker's that same day as we felt comfortable with the service Cody was providing us, the installers would provide and the pricing. Chad and Tommy arrived to install our flooring about 10 business days later. They tore out the entire first floor which included two different kinds of hardwoods, vinyl and carpet. It seemed like the old flooring was installed piecemeal and didn't flow at all. There were also many squeaks as you walked across it. We are 'over the top' happy with their installation of the hardwoods. The entire first level now flows evenly without any squeaks. They are true craftsman! The upstairs carpet and stairs were also installed in a professional manner. If you're looking for a great value in a flooring investment don't hesitate to contact Wecker's. We were glad we did!

Brooks was extremely professional and accommodating during the whole sales and prep process. Workers arrived on time and completed work in a very efficient manner. Work was very professionally done.

My husband preferred to use a local, big box store. We ultimately regretted that decision!

We got another estimate and got a better quality for a lesser price, so we went with the other company.

We didn't end up using them, but I wish we would have. They follow-up. They're thorough and professional. Their prices are reasonable. They spent a lot of time with us and were very thorough, when they gave us an estimate. They were friendly and professional. They had a vast array of products. I was pleased with that, too. There was nothing we disliked about them. We went with another company just because the other company was the first company we got an estimate from.

We scheduled someone to come to our home for an in home estimate. Cody was responsive to our needs and concerns. He is very knowledgable about the products and explained everything in great detail. He is also very easy to contact and talk to and addressed concerns immediately. Scheduling was quick and easy. Troy came out to install the hardwoods about 2 weeks after the initial meeting with Cody. They did a great job, worked quickly and the process was stress free. We are in love with our new hardwood floors, we really couldn't be happier with the results! Again, every step of the way every concern was addressed with care. Two weeks later our carpets were installed. These installers were also very knowledgable, quick and took time to explain the process. They finished earlier than expected, which was great! The carpet is beautiful and so soft! We are very pleased with this entire project. From start to finish there was very little stress thanks to the courteous and knowledgable people that Wecker's employs and the personalized attention that we received. This was a big job that went very smoothly! We would definitely use this company again and will recommend them to our friends and family! We cannot say enough good things about Wecker's! They are worth every penny spent!

Dealing with Wecker's was a true pleasure, starting with Cody, my consultant. Cody was very knowledgable, had great suggestions, and visited my home to take measurements and offer additional advice. The work crew arrived on time and had the work completed in a few days as advertised, and the work was done at the quoted price. The installers were friendly and professional, and did outstanding work. This has really transformed my home - I would recommend Wecker's to anyone who is in need of new flooring.

Everything went fine. The sales guy was very accommodating and the installers were young teenagers, one guy was his last job, the other one was training, but I have nothing bad to say about them, did the job professionally, no problems and I was comfortable of them being here.

Overall, very pleasant and very professional. When work day came, everyone was on time and very profession in the application of the product as well as moving the old unstained carpet two levels up for my dad to use elsewhere! So respectful towards my aged father!

My wife went to multiple places and Wecker's had what she was looking for. They installed the carpet within a week or two of us purchasing. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the service. The only thing I was not 100% pleased with was in fitting the carpet into place they scrapped along the lower part of the walls in places that marked up the wood paneling with a natural finished. It was a difficult installation because there are multiple closets and angles on the floor and I thought they did a good job overall.

We have used Weckers in the past to install carpet in our basement, they did a fantastic job then, so, when we decided to purchase hardwood flooring we went straight to Weckers. Brooks took the time to help us pick out what would work best for that particular room and explained all the differences, pros/cons of each type of flooring. He was very professional and incredibly helpful to us. He is the reason why we choose to shop at local, family owned businesses, not the big box stores that only want to sell you something and kick you out the door. Their prices are very competitive, they have a vast selection and their customer service is second to none. Our floor looks great and I can't say enough about the service we received from Weckers. Will never look anywhere else for flooring except Weckers.

Was visiting a friend in the area and mentioned I was looking at replacing flooring in my home in Milton DE and she suggested I go to Weckers and look at the flooring to get an idea of what I might want. The salesperson (Jen) was very friendly and helpful even though they would not be installing the flooring. Turns out one of their installers comes down to my area for various reasons, and said he (Colby) would be happy to install my flooring. So I picked out the flooring and set up a time when Colby was coming down to measure all my areas, received a quote from Weckers, and I gave the go ahead to proceed. I had my carpet installed in Sept 2012, and laminate installed March 2013. Colby and his crew were here when they said they would be. Was very knowledgeable and friendly both times. Also the clean up was exceptional. I was very impressed with how everything was handled even though I do not live in the are. I love my new flooring and would go back to Weckers for any other flooring. A picture of the laminate floor in family room is on this website.

We were new to the area and we used Weckers on the recommendation of a neighbor, we had purchased our first house and were looking to replace all the carpeting throughout the whole home which was a big purchase. Our initial impression of Weckers was positive we liked there store, selection, and sales professionals. Furthermore I always preferred using a local company over a big box store, and after working with Mac for several weeks we picked out a hardwood laminate and carpeting we both liked for a reasonable price including removal and installation. Weckers came out and ripped out the old carpeting and hardwood and installed the new laminate hardwood and carpeting. The installation people were friendly and professional and completed the job in a few days, though the bright red friendly Weckers trucks you see around town aren?t what come to your home (at least not in our case) instead we got a weird old looking blue box truck that ended up dripping oil in my drive way, that was minus. Once the flooring was installed we initially noticed a few things and decided to call our salesperson and ask him to come out to look over some problems we were having. We noticed after the new floors were installed our floors were creaky to the point where it became annoying. We decided to have Weckers come out and look at the install job. Unfortunately up to this point it had been a mostly positive experience with Weckers but it turned sour at this point. Mac and a general contractor showed up and reviewed our flooring they both agreed that some of the problem laid with the removal/ripping out of the old carpeting and the sub flooring of the house?when we asked if they could look into possibly coming out and helping address the problem Mac became confrontation stating there was nothing that Weckers was going to do and if they did come out it, we would be responsible for all the material and labor costs. He even went on the defensive saying you can call Michael Wecker himself and he?ll tell you the same thing?shocked by his response to our question we decided to point out other problems with the installation including the fact where we got the laminate hardwood installed around a stone fireplace the installer stated ?someone? had forgot to order the molding for around the fireplace and that they chalked it instead. After pointing this out Mac agreed this was a serious oversight and should?ve been done correctly instead of the installers just deciding to caulk around it: in a caulk color trying to match the laminate hard wood. So we came to an ?agreement? that Weckers and the general contractor would come out to attempt to repair/fix some of the creaking floors (covering all costs) if we agreed not to have them rip up the hardwood to fix the around the fireplace. Unfortunately we felt we had to agree, so they came out and fixed some of the creaks and the general contractor added he would be back with some caulk that would replicate a sandy mortar that was used on the fireplace to cover the fact that the molding was missing. After a few months and many phone calls to the general contractor he came back out and did caulk around the fireplace. In conclusion unfortunately I?m not sure we would specifically use Weckers again just simply due to the post-job customer service, it wasn?t what we were used to with our local companies from where we were from especially given the amount of money we spent on this job?thus Weckers provided no real discernible advantage over big box stores like Lowe and Home Depot. We still have creaky floors though admittedly not as bad as before they came back out and helped remedy the problem though we had to ?compromise? our fireplace has caulk around it instead of the correct matching molding but I guess this is how they operate. Updated: We do appreciate the professional feed back to our review, and after having some time to reflect and review the totality of the job we re-evaluated our review accordingly. We have since discussed the issue with Wecker?s and come to a better understanding. We would like to consider using Wecker?s flooring in future flooring projects since we always prefer local area company versus the big box stores. After all this is what Angie?s list is for honest reviews of real work.

We had Wecker's install laminate in our dining room. At the store my wife and I were impressed with all the kinds of laminate they had. We were able to find a nice look for a pretty good price. Jen was our salesperson and my wife and I found her very helpful, especially in selecting an area rug that would go great with the laminate we picked out. We especially liked that Wecker's had their own guys do the installation work. We didn't want to have to spend extra time calling outside installers to get it done. They did a very precise job and worked in our home very respectfully. We would absolutely recommend Wecker's because their people were easy to work with, it didn't take up a lot of time and after comparing pricing at two other stores, they had the best price for the type of laminate / installation - even the price on the rug was very good.
