Provided excellent service. The key to working with a good contractor - is dealing directly with the owner. A contractor business where you work directly with the owner - means you are getting the best and most-experienced "employee" there is..... often - when dealing with large contractors - you might be working with the lowest-qualified individual on their staff. With Skip Billet -you work with a veteran of the industry- who has great experience in virtually "anything electrical" in your home.

Provider scheduled work around my availability and arrived on time. Upon request, he re-wired two additional light switches and completed work in two days.

Skip came in and thouroughly explained what may be the issue with our breaker continuously tripping and went futher to explain a plan of resolution to diagnose the problem and not waste time and money. He was kind, courteous and very friendly. We will definitely use him again.

I would highly recommend Skip Billet. He was honest, friendly, professional and very reasonable. He responded to my message about 2 days after I called. To be fair, my job was not urgent and I let him know that. But he apologized for the 2 day delay which was very professional. My outside electrical box was becoming detached from the house. He came out and did the job at a reasonable price. He came out once before to look at it before figuring out if he could perform the job without having MetEd shut down the service. For both calls he only charged me a total of $75. I know the big boys would have charge at least $100 to come out twice. We struck up conversation and afterwards I felt like I made a new friend. Now, he is one electrician so you won't get to call a secretary or service and have same day scheduling like you would with the big boys but you get a very good electrician who is extremely reasonable and friendly. Skip will definitely be my electrician from here on out.

I requested quotes from Skip and two other contractors fo the work decribed above. Skip had the best price. One contractor was nonresponsive. With all contractors I made the mistake of not initially discussing permits, codes and inspection. My township requires a permit and inspection for this type of work. Because most of the work was outside and visible to any interested parties I thought it was important to meet the township's requirements. Skip's initial proposal did not consider meeting code for the underground wiring for the pole lamp. After some further discussion with Skip we came to an agreement as to an approach to meet code at a price which was still less than the competition. Because of the time requied for the township to process the permit Skip was not able to begin the work as originally planned and he rescheduled for about a week and a half later. Skip arrived as promised on the new schedule date and completed the work that same day to my full satisfaction with the only issue being the required inspection. My township's inspection agency had requested three inspections for this work. Skip indicated that one inspection should suffice and that I should call the inspection agency asap and he would support answering any questions via phone. The day after the work was performed the inspector came and approved the work in about five only questioning why my township needed an inspection for the majority of the work performed.

Anybody who would use Skip would think he is phenomenal. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
