Worked only a few hours per day. Estimated it would be complete in 6 weeks... after 3 full months we sent him packing with only a small porch roof left to complete. Roof leaks and is lifting in wind. Unresponsive to written complaint from me as well as Better Business Bureau attempts to contact him regarding this job. Currently pursuing complaint with PA Attorney General Office - they are trying to make contact - ongoing. Have had 3 new roofers bid work to address roof problems... all have stated exact same thing - nothing was done correctly. Hired independent 3rd party general contractor (who did no bind work) to perform an assessment - his conclusion - nothing was done correctly. I don't want anyone else to lose $25,000 like I did. This man represented himself as a 4 generation business - started by his grandfather, continued by his father, now he and his son. He also stated he had experience with standing seam metal roofs. this hack job was performed by: Bixler Roofing 1040 Highland Dr Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 717 766 3642
Description of Work: Put on a new metal roof but did not follow installation instructions per manual that comes with roofing product. As a result new roof leaks way more than old roof, plus wind has lifted sections of roof.
