Went great. They were very professional. They had ropes going from tree to tree to keep any other damage from being done. When the job was done the clean up went very well. I would give them a+. If I have to use a tree service again, HOPE NOT, but they would be first on the list. Dennis

everything went great. I was given an estimate and told what would be done. I got an explanation of why the trees needed trimmed the way that they did. I was given advice on how to care for other trees on the property and when and how to prune / trim them even if I did them myself. They showed up on time, were very professional and allowed me to ask questions. They checked in often to tell me what they were doing and why. They chipped everything that was cut off and left the yard clean.

Talked to Sharon who came out to our house to give us an estimate for the work to perform. She was very nice and helpful about the work to be completed and next steps. They were able to get the job started 2 days later. Mel came along with Sharon to go over the details of the job. We were extremely happy with the end result. They finished the job and cleaned everything up around the job site. Great people to work with. I would recommend them for any tree service you might need. Thank You Sharon and Mel..!!

We arranged for Mel's to come and give us an estimate on removing a dead Japanese Cherry Tree. When Sharon got there she gave us an estimate and also very valuable advice on a tree that was very close to the cherry tree. She then walked around our home and saw two large shrubs very close to the side of our home, whose roots were very large and would cause potential damage to the foundation of our home. She advised us that it would be in our best interest to remove those shrubs as well and quoted a very reasonable price to do so. We agreed to all of the work she recommended. Since the cherry tree was very close to our pool and it needed to be taken out before we opened the pool, she arranged for the work to be done the very next day. The crew arrived on time, and did an excellent job. They went above and beyond what was expected of them, they even elevated a tree in our front yard at no additional cost. Everything was done in a timely fashion, they were very professional and we would not hesitate to hire them again. Friendly, professional, with an excellent work ethic.

We signed the quote on Friday 06/20 and they were out working on removing the trees on Monday 06/23. It took them Just over 1 day to complete the job. I wasn't there to watch but my husband was. He said they were very friendly and he was impressed with how they manuevered the bucket truck to get in where they needed to be. They cleaned everything up and then some. We had alot of tree limbs fall over winter from the dead tree and the debris had piled up to approx 6' high. One very large limb was still hanging on a telephone wire just waiting to come down. They took care of all of that and all was done at a very reasonable price. I intend to have them back out in another month or two for another job. My only suggestion would be to call their cell phone number once they give you that. It's much easier to get in touch with them that way versus waiting for them to get back on the office phone.

I was completely pleased with the work done, the level of professionalism displayed by the contact person, and the overall result of their work. They went above and beyond in doing extra work removing scrub trees and additional limbs for the trees health. They cleaned up so completely you would never know any work had been done but for the fact that the trees seem much happier.

Contacted Mel's Tree Service and Maintenance for an estimate for tree removal and dead branches trimmed from other trees. I was told they will call me on Sat. 5/10/14, at approx. 3:00 PM to be sure I would be home for the estimate. At 6:40 PM., 5/10/14 I called and left message that I was waiting for a call that was promised at about 3:00 P.M. As of 5/21/14, no call has ever been returned. Guess they don't need the work, and don't care about customer service!

I had to leave midway through the job. When I returned home, my yard looked wonderful. They not only removed the limbs but cleaned up all of the little twigs in the yard. I was very pleased by the appearance of the yard and will have them do work for me again.. Also, they have done work for me before and I was equally pleased.

Mel's Tree Service climbed my tall White Pine trees and cut down all of the broken limbs. They then chipped all the cuttings and broken limbs and hauled away all the tree debris. Mel's Tree service gave us a quotation for this work a couple of days or so prior to actually commending work. Once they actually got started, they discovered the the damage to my trees was more extensive that they had at first thought. Never-the-less, they completed the job promptly, and for the estimated cost.

This is a rental property and difficult for me to be on site; Sharon provided pictures of before and after. Sharon went out of her way to work with the insurance co. Work was completed on time and I would call them again.

They arrived about 1 hour after we called them, (they were already in the area) and had the job completed in about two hours. I am very happy with the results. The two man crew was friendly, acted professionally, and had all of the right tools and equipment.

I contacted this company in early August. I needed work done on 2 Norway Maples and a birch. The estimate was reasonable and I stated I wanted this work done before the leaves came down in October-NO PROBLEM...Well it was a problem. I contacted them numerous times to schedule the work and it was always we can't do it now, but we WILL have it done. Well, they didn't. I would never use them again. I did use them some years ago and don't recall the particulars, but they did the job then. I think the estimate was probably too low and they just kept putting me off. LOUSY.

They are very fast once they get started and have several men doing the work. One complements the other in all of the activities such as cutting of the main tree, the limbs and then stump grinding. They did a very nice job of cleaning up all of the tree debris after they were done.
