Horrible. Our laundry room is next to the kitchen/pantry. He installed plumbing for the new sink by tapping into the W/D lines. We could see the drain poking out of the wall in the pantry, with poorly redone drywall. When our other contractor came to install everything else, the pipes wasn't even centered, so if you open the sink cabinet, its to the left rather than centered right under the sink. Then, when the sink water was turned on, the whole laundry room flooded. Our contractor brought in a plumber that he knew, who had to redo the entire thing. He stated that no one should be tapping into the W/D line. He when to the basement instead, and fixed the drywall appropriately. To make it worse, the quote that I received from McArdle's was about $200 more than the actual bill. When we emailed him asking for the refund, he stated that it was done to code and that was that.

Cory has done other work for me as well. He's very friendly, explains what he's doing, and is very fair with his time. I have been very pleased with his work.

We were so pleased with the timely service provided by McArdle Home Services. We came home from work to quite a mess last evening as the winter weather was beginning to arrive. We anticipated being snowed in without water and toilets, but the problem was taken care of quickly by Cory. Thank you so much!!!

Work is still incomplete. I am very disappointed with this company, I have used their services in the past for handyman work and found the work to be acceptable, I won't use them again

He was very knowledgeable regarding the repair and showed me the bad parts that needed replacing. I feel he did an excellent job.

Some of the curtain rods that they installed started falling down. We noticed that they didn't use any plastic that goes on the sheet rock. They just drilled screws right into the sheet rock, after a while we had certain ones on certain sides that started to pull out when the curtains went on there. I was disappointed. That's something very small and simple, fortunately the TV brackets were fine. It was a little disappointing.

I found this company through Angie's list. At the time they were having a special on Garbage disposals. The special was through Angie's List for $179.00 for the disposal and install. I called the company because I wanted to know the type of garbage disposal they were using (it did not specify on Angie's list). I talked with Cory from the company and once he answered my questions, I told him I would book this through Angie's List. He then told me that he would honer the Angie's list price ($20 cheaper) and that I did not need to book through Angie's List. When they came out to install the service I was not at home, though my husband was, at the installer charged us the normal price of $199.00. When I call Cory to tell him what happened he told me they would send us a check for the difference. I waited about 2 weeks for the check to come. After that time frame I called back and talked with Cory again and told him we had not received the check. He then told me to call him back later that night. I did forget to call him back that night, however I called back maybe 2 days later and got voicemail. I have left messages on September 9th and 12th and still have not heard from this company. I have tried to use their website to contact them but that does not work. It seems to me this company likes to lie to your face and not honor processes made.

He did not send an estimate as promised. When I called to ask about it, I left a message. I still did not hear. I called again & actually talked to him & he said "Oh-I thought I did that" HMM-NO. I told him I would e-mail him so he was sure to have my correct e-mail address...still no response. I e-mailed him again---no response. Obviously this itinerant is not interested in doing the work-so he should have said so. I wasted time waiting for his responses. I would never do business with him or anyone else who lies.

Cory and his team were great. He had very good communication throughout the entire process. I contacted him the night before and explained to him that we needed a plumber to finish some work the next day .He was flexible and rearranged his schedule to have someone come out and take care of it. The plumber that was sent was late, but they called and gave me updates on their timing which I appreciated. Plus they were fitting me in at the last minute, so I didn't mind. The plumber was very friendly and professional and addressed all of my concerns and did a great job. I would definitely have them back to do more work if we have the need in the future.

After researching comments on Angie's List about various providers, I called one of the large local plumbers to come and give me an estimate for replacing the wax ring on the toilet. This vendor (whom I've used in the past) followed the normal routine by explaining the various things that could affect the price and eventually gave me a variety of options ranging from $253 to $910, based on unexposed problems that could occur to replacing the entire toilet. This pattern of "selling" was typical of this company by trying to "scare" the customer in paying more. Because I have replaced this ring in the past, I knew what was involved. I also had a previous service contract in place with this vendor for free service calls to determine problem and cost. When I stated I would need to think about the options, I was told I was being charged a "diagnostic fee" of $59.95. I stated we had a service contract eliminating the charge-the tech stated that was a "service charge" fee that was eliminated-not a "diagnostic fee". What is the difference? The way the service contract was promoted was to allow for a visit and determination of cost for a specific job -- isn't "diagnosing" involved in that process? I refused to pay that charge, at which point he called the home office and informed me they would waive that fee. Subsequently, I called McArdle Home Service to come and give me a price to replace the ring. Corey arrived the next day on time and replaced the ring for $80.00. Corey is the owner and a smaller company compared to the company outlined above. His service was great! Would highly recommend his company. Point being-be aware of "selling practices" in whomever you deal with.

Cory was professional and personable. I couldn't ask for a more reasonable price for the work that was done. He explain what he was going to do and was spot on with the price. I would recommend McArdle to my friends and family. I could tell he has pride in his company and the work he does. So thankful I found him through Angies list.

The replacing of the fence was great considering what I gave to work with. I was very pleased. The side deck isn't done as of yet; it's scheduled for this week. I do want to say that Frank & Cory are two great individuals that are willing to work with their customers. Yes, I will use them again and again.

The toilet was installed crooked, as seen from left to right. The Korky toilet guts were installed incorrectly which caused a problem with a pinch in the fill tube. The fill valve is about 90 degrees off from where it is supposed to be and the overflow tube is about 180 degrees off from where it is supposed to be. These two things cause the pinch that almost totally shut off the water flow. One of the toilets now has more problems sticking on and filling than it ever had before. They also took the mounting bolts for a toilet seat that was totally unrelated to the work performed. When I contacted them the next day, when I realized they took them, they could not find them. It's important because you can't buy these specific plastic mounting bolts. All I heard the whole time they were there is that they never get callbacks and they always do it right the first time. That wasn't my experience. I won't let them back in my house.

They were truly amazing! Kept constant contact with me throughout the process. They were professional and did above and beyond. It couldn't have went any better.

My shower faucet was not providing hot water at all and we had a broken toilet in the basement. Cory was able to quickly identify the problem with the shower faucet and replace the cartridge to get it working again. Offered to replace the broken toilet in the basement as part of an Angie's list package price that included removal, disposal, installation and the toilet itself. McArdle is knowledgeable, on-time and professional. This was my second time using their services and 100% pleased again. My house was the model 20+ years ago in this development so many things are always off or not as they should be. Cory is a pleasure to have performing work and I highly recommend them.

McArdle Home Services did a fantastic job fixing the sinks in the kids bathroom. The owner Cory McArdle came out to the house on 10/2/15 to do the repair after we received a reasonable quote a few weeks earlier. He was thorough and professional. He was running late from his early morning appointments and called twice to inform me of his arrival time. He was in and out in under a 1/2 hour. I have some other home projects that need to be completed and I will certainly be using Cory and his services again in the near future. 5-star rating.

Talk about responsiveness and punctuality! McArdle was on point. I submitted a request via their website on July 4th - not expecting a response until earlier in the following week. Nope - I had a response via email in 30 minutes. Wow! They coordinated an after hours appt. the following Tuesday. They were on time and provided great service. My only little "complaint" which was on me and not them. I should have considered picking out a replacement faucet prior to them coming. The style they picked (I wasn't onsite) wasn't one that I would had probably chosen as it was really basic. Again - that was on me - not on them. So, long and short - go with McArdle. You won't be disappointed.

I left a message for the service I needed and was called back within a few hours. He was able to come out within a week and worked around my schedule. Cory did the patch and first mudding on Thursday afternoon and came back the next day to finish the job. The patch looks perfect. He was very professional and punctual. Pricing is very reasonable. I would highly recommend Cory and will definitely consider him for any future home related repairs. Great Job!

Even though they were pretty booked up with jobs when we initially called, McArdle Home Services worked to fit us in as soon as possible. They advised me on my options for a replacement sump pump, ranging in price from low to mid-high. I chose a slightly more expensive, higher capacity sump pump model, which they promptly ordered. In less than a week, they were able to install the pump for us. McArdle was very willing to accommodate our schedule, and we worked out a way for them to remotely access the home and start the installation. They even fixed an additional issue they noticed for a reasonable price. I was very please with the work and I will definitely consider using them for future repairs/maintenance!

I have an older home, so Cory always finds some issue when he's there working. I had him and Rob installing a light in my laundry room downstairs. While they were doing so, I started losing power upstairs. I came down and told him. He and Rob spent the next several hours tracking down the problem and fixing it. Although my list never gets complete, I always feel like Cory gives me his best and I trust him. I have been using McArdle Home Services for just about a year now, and I am grateful to Angie's List for helping me to find them.

Fine, the work was carried out in a professional manner with high quality parts utilized. Installation of the piping involved drilling through the basement wall and working in extremely tight spaces both in the basement and outside between the wall and patio deck.
