GRAY'S CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

Sam was great to work with for the 2 sidewalks he replaced. His crew was nice and effecient. He advised us to replace the sidewalks before replaceing the asphalt driveway. We also upgraded the one sidewalk and removed a step to create a full length ramp to the hosue side door.

I had a brick old sidewalk, approximately 30 ft in length, that was crumbling and buckling due to many winters of abuse. Shoveling snow from it was a major task. Sam replaced it with poured concrete sidewalk (plain concrete - not stamped) and added an extension off to one side as a place to sit my grill. Everything went flawlessly, from the original estimate to the final completion of the job. The price was very reasonable for the job that was done.

My sidewalk in front of my house was very old, narrow and sinking in spots. When it rained we would have to walk through 3 inches of water in spots. We wanted to replace the old sidewalk with a stamped sidewalk. Sam came out and gave us the best price out of all of the contractors. We decided to use them and set up the project. They were pretty quick and thorough during this project. Day one they came out dug up the concrete, excavated, set up the forms and laid the stone. The second day they came out and poured the concrete. The third day, they came back to set up for the sealant. The fourth day they let it cure and the fifth daythey sealed it, and back filled everything and cleaned up. The job site was always neat and they did a great job of the final clean up. Sam was always promp in answering my emails. If I had to pick one thing that could have been a little better, it would be the scheduling. My job got moved around here and there I'm sure due to weather and trying to finish other jobs. But when they started it, they knocked it out in no time. Next cement job I have i will use them again.

Everything was good except, if he did the job as two different jobs instead of trying to do them together, our yard wouldn't have gotten as ripped up as much as it did. He got put back because of all the rain in September and you cannot pour in the rain. So we had a lot of rain and our ground was soft. But if he had not ripped the driveway up first and had poured the patio and the sidewalk out back and counted that as one job and then ripped our driveway out he would not have had the cement trucks come through the driveway and break the driveway up. That was just the man's illogic.

Mr. Gray was prompt and courteous, delivered the estimate as promised and began the work on the day he said he would. His work was excellent and he cleaned up the area. I'll be calling him later this year to get an estimate on doing my driveway.

Sam was quick to come out and provide an estimate, had it within a few days of my initial call. I delayed having the work done for a few weeks due to other projects I needed to complete. I then scheduled with Sam to have the service preformed, but mother nature had different ideas causing use to be delayed an additional two weeks. Finally the work was completed over the course of three days due to rain, but the final product was beautiful. I have gotten so many comments from friends and family about how nice it looks. I have since passed Gray Concretes name and number on to two co-worker looking to get concrete work done. Looking forward to having my patio completed by Sam and his crew in the Spring of 2012.
