DEAN'S PAINTING/HOME SVC

Dean is a true professional in every sense of the word. From beginning to end was excellent. Dean responded on the same day I contacted him. He scheduled to come by the house and gave us a quote the very next day for a very reasonable price. He said it would take only 4 days and that's exactly what he delivered. He answered all our questions and even made paint brand & color recommendations. He went above and beyond in helping us find the color we had in mind but didn't know what it would look like on the wall. I'm glad we went with his recommendations because we love the color and how well the paint covers. He works free hand so there is no taping that takes extra time. He works very quite and fast, there were moments I forgot he was in the house. We felt very comfortable having Dean in our home. He made sure before he left that he did not leave one spot uncovered or any mistakes. We love the work he did for us and have yet to find any mistakes. We are already in the works to rehire Dean and we recommend him to anyone who needs painting.

Excellent service and results. Dean was professional, courteous, and very friendly. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We solicited 3 bids and his was very competitive. He was honest on start date, days to finish job, and he was very neat and clean. When he left each day - you did not know he was even there. Plus we absolutely loved the results!! WOW - The painting is what everyone sees when they walk through the house, although we did lots of other projects, too. So Dean did our sparkle job, and he was a total pleasure to work with. He gave good opinions of colors, and the job turned out fantastic! Probably most important -- Dean's painting is excellent. With ceilings, walls and woodwork all different colors, and on plaster walls to boot!, our job required professional work. And Dean's painting is very professional. But where Dean sets himself above other painters/painting companies is truly service with a smile. Dean rearranged his schedule so that he could fit our timeline. It was a big job, and we had other big jobs to schedule while the house was empty...to accomplish by move-in/settlement. Dean worked hard every day, sometimes in difficult conditions, such as when the air conditioning was off. He was flexible to work around the other contractors. Even though the woodwork was a time consuming and difficult job, Dean was a cheerful guy! Sounds like a little thing, but it wasn't. Dean communicated well, great since at times the empty house was surely a happening place of workers. Dean even came back after the last contractor left, touching up dings left by the other guys. I'd surely use Dean again for painting, even odd jobs. And I've already recommended him to others. Price was very competitive -- otherwise I might not have discovered his work quality and how easy he was to work with. :-) Thanks, Dean!

I can't say enough good things about Dean! Great followup, reasonable pricing, excellent work, are all what he provides. Highly recommended!

I emailed Dean and he responded promptly, setting up an appointment to review the job the next day. His quote was very fair, and he began work 3 days later. Dean was very professional, polite and competent -- I had no qualms about leaving him alone in the house while I ran errands. The bathroom was truly a challenge, with moisture damage on the ceiling and lots of '90s paper wallpaper to be scraped. It looks great now! The dining room had a corner leak (roof since replaced) that produced an ugly water stain in a top corner. Dean did a great job of painting the walls, then somehow matched the ceiling paint, blending and feathering until the stair disappeared -- thus saving me the cost of having the entire (cathedral) ceiling repainted. I will definitely use Dean again, and will have no hesitation recommending him to my friends.

He was excellent, very professional, prompt, price was right, and he's absolutely meticulous. He put down the paint in the drop box but I didn't see any paint and drop anywhere, he's such a meticulous painter, it's everybody's dream. I certainly wouldn't have him back if he didn't do an excellent job in the initial work order. I thought they were reasonable, in fact I got 2 other estimates that were not on Angie's List and he was not the cheapest, he was in the middle but I just liked his knowledge, he is intelligent, he knew about decorating, his fine taste in paint colors, we talked at great lengths, in fact that the 4 days he was here we could hold a very lively conversation as I was talking about my business while he was painting. He's courteous, professional, prompt and excellent painter. He was the average price but I thought it was very reasonable.

Dean was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, punctual and does a fantastic quality job. For the kitchen, I asked Dean to refinish/repaint all the cabinets, change out the hinges, change out a trim piece above the sink, paint all the walls and ceiling (which included soffits in different color) and paint the door and all trim. Dean did a beautiful job on the entire room. He is very neat and clean, very quick and thorough. The kitchen looks great. I also asked Dean to paint the living room, including my stairway and 2nd floor hall. Again, Dean did an excellent job, was very neat and thorough. We decided to include wains-coat in the powder room and have a sponge finish to the walls. The result was excellent. The kitchen was next for the wall paper removal and spackle. We had some kitchen cabinet work completed, then Dean completed the painting. Some additional window trim and ceiling stain was patched and painted at no charge. Next was the bathroom wallpaper removal and painting. We are very happy with the work Dean completed.

Overall, his attention to detail was excellent and he was always good to clean up before leaving. He is a very nice fellow, very dependable and professional.
