Not good. After multiple attempts the kitchen cabinets are still a mess.

Someone from CertaPro came out to our house beforehand to scope out the work and find out what we wanted. Rather than show us samples, they suggested we go to our favorite paint store and get the specs on what we wanted; they would then order the paint. The work itself went very well. The painters were on time both times, the work proceeded smoothly, and both the painters and the CertaPro office checked to make sure that we were happy with exactly what was to be painted, the colors, how things looked after the first coat, and the final job. We would hire CertaPro again, and strongly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a professional paint job.

Although the project start date was delayed due to a very wet spring, Certa-pro of York would call to update are start date. Ozzy came out on time, went the extra mile to make sure all the work was completed to our satisfaction. Brent and Pam were very professional and easy to work with. Thank you all for the great job.

CertaPro is a franchise business which subcontracts with painting contractors for a percentage of the overall price you'll pay. I felt as though I needed to monitor the progress of the job carefully to make sure things were done to specification. With one exception, everyone that I dealt with directly was responsive to my concerns. After I became more familiar with the painters I felt as though I could relax a little. I still kept a close eye on their progress and I think that the job came out very well. If you can contract directly with a reputable Paint Company with a proven track record, more of your money will probably go directly into your project. I would certainly recommend doing your homework and getting several estimates. In my experience, CertaPro will work with you and they are responsive to your concerns so if you do your homework, you should be able to get satisfactory, professional results from them. Dave Bowman was our Project's "Lead". I would hire CertaPro again and would ask for Dave.

Brent, the owner, came to our home for an estimate. He took the time to explain the process and help us pick a stain that we would like. There was zero pressure whatsoever and the price was very fair. We let CertaPro know the next day or two that we wanted to move forward. About a month later the work started. The same person (Jamie) did all the work and he was an excellent worker. We felt very comfortable with him in our home and working around our family. The deck looked amazing just after the power-washing and looked even MORE amazing after the staining. Jamie was detail oriented and we're very happy with the end result. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend CertaPro in the future if we need interior or exterior work completed by a great company! They came back out because our HOA wanted the color adjusted. They did this at no additional cost to us. They definitely went above and beyond for us.

They came out and they painted but they had flash marks on the floor and they told me how to clean it up instead of them cleaning it up. I don't know why I would have to do it. I did a better job. I painted all my rooms except for three of them. I am so disappointed on the job they did because of those things. It just doesn't look professional. I have a few cracks and on the areas I painted, you can't tell but in the areas they painted, you can tell. I thought they did a very bad job but that's my opinion. I was so disappointed because I thought they would be professional and do even a better of a job and they did a worse job and that was very disappointing.

Dave and Matt where here for 7 1/2 days. Some days working 10 hours and also ask if they could work on Sunday to make up for lost time do to the problem with some of the wallpaper. The wallpaper removal went great in the bedroom, but turned out to be somewhat of a challenge in the foyer and halls do to the fact that the walls where not properly prepared when the paper was hang.They did whatever it took to get the job done, including a power sander. The painting went extremely well. In the foyer I changed the color and that added $ 45.00 to the final bill. A small exterior job was also added at $125.00. Dave, Matt and their crew where very courteous and friendly. Cleaned up every day before they left, showed up every morning on time, most days at 7:30 AM. Where very tolerant of my two small dogs. All in all it was a pleasant experience. From the first time I spoke with Pam, Brent giving the estimate, which was printed out the day he was here, through 7 1/2 days of painting. I could not be happier with the way everything turned out. After completion of the job Brent followed up with a phone call..

Certapro writes a very detailed contract based on your inputs. You approve the contract. They then pass the contract to jobber painters to execute. The painters hadn't seen the site until they walked in. In our job we planned to be away while the house was painted. The painters showed up the day we left and "finished" before we got back, as per plan. Before we got back, Bret from Certapro looked in at the "finished" job and noted that the ceiling was splotchy and found no other issues. Nothing else happened until we got home. I inspected the job and developed a list of issues to be corrected. The painters came back and worked off the list. The painters were reasonably careful but dust went everywhere, and since we had moved back in, the cleanup was on us. I believed that Certapro should have been more involved in the quality control of their jobbers, instead we were told to deal with the painters. The job was not completed as we desired, i.e., before we got back. It did get satisfactorily completed in the end.

I received an early morning phone call from Brent Nygard shortly after contacting HomeAdvisor about getting my home painted. An appoint was made for May 15th. Brent came out. We spent a fair amount of time walking around my home and discussing what was needed. After a week went by, I called CertaPro to inquire about the proposal I was hoping to consider. I spoke with Mr. Nygard's wife I believe. I explained that Brent had been out here, but I had yet to hear anything back from CertaPro. She assured me that there would be follow-up. After another week went by, I sent an email to Mr. Nygard, again asking about some sort of follow-up. That was on May 29th. As of today,(now June 21), the only contact I've received from CertaPro is an email survey. I requested a proposal. I spent time with Mr. Nygard discussing what was needed. A waste of time apparently. Not so "Pro" in my experience. June 25, 2014: Brent:, thank you for your time. Checking back, here on Angie's List, is a good way to communicate, I guess. In any event, I feel better seeing something from you concluding our business. Thanks again.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service from this provider. The original paint selection did not meet my requirements, so they worked with me to find a solution to the issue even though it meant practically starting the job over. They did this with absolutely no hassle and no additional charge. The final product was awesome! The team followed up with me several times and made sure that I was happy. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

3 man-days of work. Both Estimator and Painter were professional, expert, meticulous, and congenial. Both left a very good impression. Quality of work: Both work sites were better than the condition when new. Price: I obtained three estimates. Certa Pro was lowest, and I am now certain better work. My highest recommendation.

They did a fantastic job and everything was cleaned up. I cannot say enough about them. The painting was so professional, including the owner that gave us the bid.

I got them as well as used them from Angie's list. It went very nicely. A very nice gentleman came back to check the work. The work was done quickly. It was done well. My wife said the workers were friendly and courteous. I had a thoroughly positive experience with them. The price wasn't for an hour; he gave us a figure for the contract. The price was at least reasonable and it was towards the lower side. We checked with two or three different people and they came in pretty competitively. I would recommend them.

We decided to wait until spring to have this project done because the weather was starting to get bad. We had the house painted before, and a different contractor painted during cold weather conditions which led to premature peeling, poor adhesion, and generally a substandard job. While Certapro offered a particularly expensive estimate, we have asked for other estimates and none were submitted. This is a complicated project, and we have a high expectation for a long lived result.

Our initial consultation went very well. We were happy with the quote. On the day of, the painter was prompt and professional. He painted our two story entryway and stairway in one day. We are very happy with the results and will hire this company to do more work.

They gave us an accurate quote and finished the work on time as scheduled. We found that they forgot one wall and upon calling them back, they were out within a few days to finish the job.

I needed the inside of my house painted and wanted a certain color but couldn't find it. They found the exact color for me. The job took 5 days and the painters did the rooms in the order that was most convenient for me. I have two dogs and they were great with them. The painters were so nice and efficient. They cleaned up every night when they left for the day. At the end of the job, I had a beautiful newly painted home with nothing left behind to clean up.This was a great experience from the estimate appoinment to the finished product. I would definitely use them again!

Arrived on time and completed work sooner then expected.

It went very well, even better than expected. My husband was home while they were there, but i had to work. when I came home, there was no evidence that a painter was there all day (except for the beautiful room!). There was no trash or anything left behind. Certa Pro is absolutely a top notch company!!

To say it was like a completely different home is an understatement. Their attention to detail, the walkthrough and the follow up call to make sure everything was very much to our satisfaction.

It turned out really well. One guy did the work. The prep work was great. Brent made sure everything was going well with the work. I was surprised he was able to do it within two weeks. The price was not bad for all of the different colors and the texture painting in a bathroom as well. We were very happy with the work. They even came back for some touch up work as well.

The owners were very easy to deal with. They were very prompt in getting hold of me, giving me a quote, and follow-up on questions. The person that they had used in the job could have been a bit better in terms of quality. If you had some issues, the owners took care of it. I would consider using them in the future.

They did good work. They also finished it quickly and professionally.

Brent contacted us within hours of our inquiry. Everything was done with the utmost professionalism, from the initial call to the finished job. We had a room we had been meaning to paint for a couple of years and just never got to it. I am so glad we called. The room looks beautiful now and we have already had guests over since we are so proud of the way it looks. Thanks Brent!
