 + -1 moreWe have been using Bucchioni Lawns Plus! since 2004, and we don't even bother to read the flyers that other services stick in our mailbox; we're keeping Bucchioni! Their prices are reasonable, especially mulching, since we have a back yard with a steep slope; the previous service we used doubled their price after they mulched us the first time. Colin's crew does an excellent job, and (having observed them once when I happened to be home during the day) they are *fast*, yet professional and efficient. I thought about giving them a bump down for Punctuality, but decided that would not be fair, since it's the nature of the business to have to be flexible in response to weather (if it was raining in buckets on Monday, and your normal day is Tuesday, you may have to wait until Wednesday while the crew catches up with Monday clients). All estimates have been right-on, even months later (after gas prices have gone through the roof). Colin responds to feedback. The first year they started with us, they trimmed our lilac bush, inadvertently cutting off the buds. We asked them to never, ever trim the lilac again, and, four years later, they still do not have to be reminded. Excellent service, heartily recommended.
Description of Work: Bucchioni Lawns Plus! does our lawn mowing on a weekly basis (if required. We are not billed for weeks when it has been too dry for the grass to grow much), plus annual mulching, plus twice-annual yard cleanup, plus periodic weed & feed. The price quoted is for weekly mowing; the cost is based on the size and type of yard, so your cost will be different. Mowing includes edge trimming and sidewalk blowing. You can request a variety of services (see www.yorklawns.com for a list), and before the season starts Colin will give you an estimate of each service; if you think the price is too high for a particular service, you can decline it (though we never have). (I don't know if Colin will negotiate prices; we have always thought the estimates very reasonable).
