Brick and Lime

Paid the brick and lime company $4600 for a chimney rebuild from below roof line. Company damaged shingles and did terrible job flashing chimney into existing roof. I was quoted $2000 for a reputable contractor to remediate the damages and get the roof sealed properly. John has been unresponsive to several direct complaints and messages. Water is currently able to enter my home through the roof because of their actions. It was not like this before they worked on my home. An former employee of the company has shared my concerns and complaints. I am planning to file a civil dispute with my local Magistrate's office.

Jonathan and his crew were extremely professional and worked hard to complete a difficult task. Jonathan was accommodating despite unforeseen obstacles. I would recommend them and would use them in the future.

Brick and Lime did a rebuild and restoration of our front porch, basement and front foundation. It was a huge project, involving masonry, concrete, stucco, installation of a sump pump, electrical, grading, and more. They very carefully restored and reused the original porch columns and restored the original windows at my request. They came up with great ideas for retaining the historic character of the home, while also coming into compliance with modern building codes. Jonathan is very easy to communicate with. The entire team is friendly and professional. This project turned out better than I could ever imagine. We will be hiring them back for other projects without hesitation. I highly recommend Brick and Lime for any masonry, stucco, or concrete repair. They do top notch work.

The work was done on time, was of high quality, and they cleaned up the debris created by the nature of the work.

We were fairly new to the area, and had no idea where to go for help with a chimney issue. I'm so glad we were able to find Jonathan and The Brick and Lime Company. He was friendly and professional, and did a great job. We were especially surprised when we got a call a week or two later asking if they could stop by to check be sure the leak (original reason we called) was no longer a problem after a few days of heavy rain. Much better than planned. Jonathan cared about the finished product. If something did not appear to be up to par, he would back up and rethink or re-do whatever is concerning to him.

Beautifully! Besides doing the work that was required, the old antenna was removed. Jonathan recommended a copper chimney cap in keeping with the style of the house. It's very well done.
