Just one word describes the personability, knowledge and workmanship of Al Barnett and his wife, Bobbie (aka Barnett Basement Solutions)...... PROFESSIONAL!!!! From the initial introduction and explanation of the Scope of Work to the final trowel of smoothing the concrete, this project was, in fact, seamless. Al would touch base with me at the beginning and end of every day to explain his progress and/or any "bumps in the road". They even stood by their initial quote after discovering that our foundation was both thicker AND harder than any other basement they tackled up to that point. I honestly expected there to be a fair amount of dust throughout the house during and after the job was finished but there was only a minimal amount to be seen. Prior to starting, Al and Bobbie took the time to cover ALL the contents of our basement with palstic which kept the items clean and dust-free. Our basement was actually cleaner after the project was completed than it was prior. Their attention to detail from start to finish was greatly appreciated. My bottom line is this... I would absolutely recommend Barnett Basement Solutions to perform basement waterproofing services for anyone in the market for such.
Description of Work: Barnett Basement Solutions provided basement waterproofing services for our home that was built in 1985. Fortunately for us and due to having water enter our basement in the past, we've had an unfinished basement since we moved into the home back in 2004. The scope of work entailed jackhammering the entire perimeter of our basement (120 linear feet) of approx 6-8" thick of hardened concrete. They then excavated with shovels (but mostly by hand) well below the concrete footer and installed perforated PVC then installed the weeping tile and then backfilled with stone and topped it off with 3" of Quik-Crete concrete. There were several small sections (behind the water heater and furnace) where acccessing the footer was not possible so they then installed a product called AmeriDrain, which is a surface drain that water enters and is funneled down to the 4" PVC below. All of the 4" PVC is tied into 2 seperate sump pumps located at opposing corners of the house. So when water runs behind the weeping tile or down into the AmeriDrain it enters the 4" PVC and runs into either of the sump pumps which is then pumped to the exterior of the house. Barnett Basement Solutions also ran all electrical supplies needed for both sump pumps.

They were very efficient, neat, clean, stayed within their quoted price, and did everything right the first time. I highly recommend them to others.
