I would give them negative stars if possible. I called them the week of 8/5 asking to have a tree repair done. The lady told me they could not get to it until September, which I accepted. But, she would have someone stop by the property the following week and then they’d give us an estimate. I never heard from them the following week so I called and left a message for someone to call me. Still heard nothing back. I called and left another message the week of 8/19 and still nothing. I even asked that if they had decided they didn’t want or have time for the job, just to let me know so I could call someone else. Still nothing back. I reached out through their contact link on their website and still nothing. This is just very unprofessional and rather rude. I understand if a business doesn’t think your small job is worth their time or if they’re just too busy to do it. But, the courtesy of a return call would have been appropriate and appreciated since they made the commitment to at least give me an estimate. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I had a huge tree fall on my property blocking my driveway and called my regular lawn guy and left an urgent voice mail. In the meantime I called Ampsacher's and also left a message. LuAnn returned my call and said since it was raining she would see what she could do. Meanwhile my regular Lawn Care Service returned my call and showed up and began the clean up job. Amspacher's eventually showed up and were FURIOUS that someone else was already doing the job. LuAnn called me SCREAMING at me and THREATENING me that her husband was going to come to my door (to do what? continue to yell at me?). The following day (yes, less than 24 hours later) I received a bill for $300 because she had to get a crew "out of bed" (at 11 am???) to come to my house. The other 3 companies that showed up were all thrilled that I had found someone to do the job and the companies all discussed how to go about the clean up and then left the job to my regular Lawn Care Company. In an emergency we must ALL learn to work together and not threaten and INTIMIDATE the potential customer. How dare they try to charge me $300. I will NEVER use this co

This provider is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. We had an ice storm this winter and got an estimate for cleanup. The estimate was dated February 11, 2014. We agreed to the services when we received the estimate and was told it would take about a month to get to us. They delayed and delayed until multiple months had gone by and we finally had to call and give them an ultimatum that they either needed to get us done or we would find another tree service to do the job. They finally started our job on a Sunday with only two people then didn't show up for a week. We had to constantly nag them by phone to get anyone to show up at all. After they finally finished the job, on May 9, it had been almost three months from the date the estimate was provided! To top things off, they sent us a bill with only 7 days to pay until a late fee would be assessed. The bill arrived on the due date. I mailed it that day, but a few days later a bill arrived with the 10% late fee added! What a slap in the face after all that we had put up with from them. Bottom line, this is a terrible company run by some very inconsiderate and unprofessional people.

We just had an ice storm. An extremely large tree limb fell on our roof on a Wednesday. I called a few tree services and scheduled an appointment with Amspacher because they said they could be there on Thursday. On Thursday at around 3:00 pm I called because they hadn't arrived yet. No one answered so I left a message asking if they were able to make it. I didn't get a call back so I called about an hour later and a woman, who later said she was the owner, answered. I was already a little annoyed that she hadn't returned my call. I asked if they were going to show up at my house. She told me she didn't know and couldn't find out because as they were going to their scheduled appointments they were helping out the neighbors who didn't have scheduled appointments. She also told me that all tree services were so busy that companies weren't even calling customers back. I knew that was a lie because I had talked to about five other companies the same day I scheduled with them. Obviously by this point I was extremely upset because they were taking customers before us that didn't have an appointment and I have an enormous branch on my roof which to me is an emergency. The woman who I spoke to also told me she was just the messenger and I shouldn't be upset with her. I told her that at least she could have called me to tell me that they might not get there on Thursday but Friday. She answered "Are you kidding me!". I was speechless. She then told me that she was taking me off the list. And here I still sit with a tree on my roof. As of right now there is no damage to my roof that I know of. I just really hope nothing happens to it between now and the time I can get another service out here. That was so unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude.

Craig and his wife were both very informative of what best procedures with the tree and did not recommend anything that was not neccesary like some other quotes Ive gotten. After I hired, they came, did the job and cleaned up. I would def use them again for my tree servicing, cant beat the prices and the work

Amspacher Tree Service was very punctual in returning my telephone call and setting up an appointment to see the trees that I wanted removed. They gave me an estimate on the spot and the total cost of the completed project was within the estimate. By the way, Amspacher's estimate was half the price of another tree removal company I contacted to do the same job. They told me they could do the job the first week in June and they tried, but rain prevented them from completing the task. They came back the following week, after the lawn dried out a bit, to finish the work. They ground the stumps, took the wood away, and removed all the debris from the trees. The yard around the trees looked as good after they left as it was before they arrived. I would definitely use Amspacher Tree Service again and recommend them to anyway looking for a tree removal company.

Did not go well. Price was in keeping with other estimates and he seemed like a really nice guy. Almost 2 weeks went by after recieving estimate. I had to call to find out when work would be done. They got their truck and chipper stuck in the yard which was not the real problem. The real problem was that the grass died within three days from where their equipment sat to a swath all across my yard. They got wood chips on my neighbors pool deck left leaves, sticks and branches all across the yard. Had to call again several days later to find out when they would finish the job. They drove across the same area again instead of where they were told to drive. Left a 5 foot section of trunk laying on the ground that we had to deal with. Received bill weeks later with a date on of 4/11, I hadn't even met them until 4/13. When I protested about paying the bill due to the fact I had to spend more than 150.00 to try and fix the damage the wife left nasty messages and got into an argument with me about the price and the condition of my yard, she was not present when the work took place. Never got to speak to the husband who gave the estimate and whose employees did the job. One employee walked off the job on the first day! Would not recommend at all, more trouble than its worth.
