Description of Work: Allied Cleaning was extremely responsive and helped us out of a near impossible situation. Another window washing company, that had serviced our property for years, failed to respond to several service commitments over the prior month. I contacted Allied a week prior to when our house was to listed for sale. Our cedar shake roof had been recently power washed and stained and the windows were in dire need of cleaning. | |Allied was already overburdened with work at that time, but managed to fit us in and get the worst of the worst. The complication was our house has many single pane windows with storm windows. Our builder in the early 80's selected these types of windows because of their architectural beauty among alternative windows in that era. These windows have been a challenge for any window cleaner that has serviced our property. Allied was unfamiliar with them and we agreed to alternative approaches to short cut the approach. All mutually agreed given time constraints. | |I will not hesitate to recommend Allied or employ their services at another house.

Description of Work: This is the second time i have used Allied and they were fantastic. Walt and his son Ben were very responsive to my call, came over promptly to remove area rug (required them to move some furniture). Had it cleaned and pet odor/stains out in three days. Price very resonable- will definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreCame on time, finished quickly, thoroughly and neatly/. There was a mix up from the estimate and whether the screens were included. Allied graciously agreed to do the screens without the additional charge. We gave them a little extra anyway. I will use them again for window cleaning and will try them for carpet and upholstry when we need it.
Description of Work: Cleaned 35 windows and screens, all were storm windows.

 + -1 moreThere is no comparison to prior companies that cleaned the windows of our four bedroom colonial home. Walt and his staff are personable, friendly, and caring about their work. They did a meticulous job. It is hard to believe that one company could be so superior to the rest!

 + -1 moreWalt Madden and son Ben take personal pride in operating this low overhead family business. Quick response to initial query, prompt appointment for an estimate, and a no-nonsense fair estimate for the job (cleaned window sills without extra charge). They accommodated my request for when I wanted the job done, showed up on time and got to work. Took care in not tracking dirt into the house, and cleaned up/vacuumed debris that fell to the floor in the process of the cleaning. We have hard well-water that creates spotting which is particularly difficult to fully get off, and the crew spent extra time trying to get the windows as sparkling as possible. Walt also used some finishing nails to ensure that the faux mullions on some two-story windows stayed in place. They are really pleasant people and I am very pleased with the results and the great price!
Description of Work: Washed/cleaned all interior and exterior windows/atrium doors and screens of a large colonial home. Cleaned two large interior chandeliers in two-story foyer and family room.
