Walked away from one of their sales after they lied regarding their pricing and pulled a bait and switch. I will avoid going to sales run by Fixed 2 Move in the future because of this really bad experience.

Amazing! Sharon's team was efficient, trustworthy and careful in packing dishes, antiques and other treasures. I was overwhelmed by the volume of stuff I had accumulated over the years and Sharon's team sorted thru everything and gave me a detailed accounting of all items that were sold at auction making this task easy and pain-free! She gave me advise on what she felt was worth selling at auction. My home was very large so preparing a detailed inventory was no small task. Sharon and her team were very professional and a pleasure to work with! I would recommend them to anyone!
Description of Work: I was moving out of a large home with garage and attic that I lived in for 25 years. I needed help packing, disposal of unwanted and donated items and selling valuables at auction.

I should have done my homework and read the reviews. I would never have hired Sharon and Fixed 2 Move. She is sorely lacking in professionalism. I needed to follow up with her from the initial visit until the end of the clean out. She never initiated any contact with me after the first visit; I should have seen this as a red flag! Additionally, she was not present for our sale all weekend except to remove my sterling silver flatware from the sale without my permission to sell it! Furthermore her bookkeeping skills showing how my entire house of furniture sold was not even close to what the value was. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone!

You chose to include your silver in the sale and we sold it as you requested for the best price possible. So I am very stumped by that comment. I am sorry if you do not believe that your furniture brought what it was worth, but condition does drive the sale amount and your belongings were well used and frequently damaged. Sharon

We were very dissatisfied with Fixed2Move and the service Sharon O'Shea provided. We should never have used her services! We should have been alerted to this right off the bat, as she missed her initial appointment and was late to the next one. She failed to deliver on her commitments on how she conducts and staffs the estate sale. She told us it would be her and two of her associates on-site during the estate sale to monitor people as they walk through our home. Only on day two did she have a second person present. During the first day we observed her leaving our home and going to her car while potential customers were walking through it. There was jewelry out in the open that could have easily walked out the door. Ms. O'Shea kept terrible inventory/account records. Luckily, my wife kept good records. Ms. O'Shea had to get a list of what was set to auction from my wife and we never did get a list of what items were donated and what items ended up in the landfill. The people she hired to clear out our home and take our possessions to either auction or landfill were not given any instructions by her on what was going where. She told us the auction house she uses holds auctions every other Monday and that we would have a check for the proceeds a couple of weeks afterwards. The clean out took place on July 20th and after multiple follow-ups we finally received a check from her on Oct 19. The only inventory list she ever provided was one that was generated by the auction house.... I would recommend anyone who is considering using her services to do their homework and be prepared for a complete lack of professionalism and follow through on her part.

In regards to staffing we frequently have staff members in the house who are not identified as Fixed 2 Move employees for security purposes. 2. You received a list of all items that were sold at the estate sale and auction. 3. Due to COVID the auction houses that we used were closed or working at limited capacity so we held items in storage at our cost to try to obtain greater value for your items. That is why the check was delayed. I also explained that to you and your wife.

We decided to list & sell our home of 32 years requiring us to dispose and/or donate/sell our house contents in less than a week. Jon and Jason cheerfully helped us go room by room and box up the possessions we wanted to keep, bag clothing for donation, and load up 6 truck loads for disposal. Sharon helped stage the house, and in 4 days the house is ready to be shown to prospective buyers. We could not have done this without them.

Sharon's company was just what I needed. Her team helped me clean out over sixty years of furniture, memorabilia, and papers. She orchestrated an estate sale, filled two dumpsters and made donations to charity. She also arranged to move furniture to another site after I was dissatisfied with a moving company. Her staff, who spent a lot of time with me, were a pleasure to work with.

" Fixed2Move" liquidation services consisted of a) a home sale of belongings, b) donation and delivery of certain unsold items, c) auctioning of unsold belonging with value, and d) disposal of all remaining belongings in a commercial dumpster. We were terribly disappointed by Sharon O'Shea, the owner of "fixed2move" for the following reasons: Communication, Responsiveness & Punctuality: Ms. O'Shea was a no show/no call to the first appointment and, thereafter, events did not always happen when she said they would (for example, she told us a crew would be at our house at a certain time and when the crew did arrive (much later), they told us that they had not been instructed by Ms. O'Shea regarding arrival time). Professionalism: & Accountability: Ms. O'Shea failed to account for at least 35% of the home sale proceeds. Had we not been the vigilant party, we would have incurred a significant loss. When we brought this serious mistake to her attention, she responded "sorry for the inconvenience" followed by an excuse to the effect "I would have caught it......I was behind....sorry." Really? We still have unaccounted for sold merchandise of some value but have grown weary of doing Ms. O'Shea's recordkeeping for her. For anyone inclined to hire Fixed2Move we urge you to document, by way of photographs/videos, all items in your household of any significant value prior to the estate sale, and to take room- by -room photographs/videos immediately after the sale is concluded. It is imperative, based on our bad experience, that you take the time (and it will be considerable) to reconcile Ms. O'Shea's accounting of what was sold with your records. We also urge you to be present at the final household cleanout to make sure that all household items have been removed (the new owners of our house contacted us regarding many pots and pans they found inside cabinets). Additionally, it is highly recommended that you keep an eye out for property that you may not want to go into the dumpster. For example, we had a $1,000 Humanscale Freedom office chair that did not sell or go to auction that we prevented from being tossed into the dumpster. Caveat emptor, (Latin: “let the buyer beware”)

Went so very well. Not only was I given functional and affordable advice about downsizing and updating my home, but gave me the tools to do it all. That included painting and fixture changes and the resources to accomplish what was needed. Easy to work with, prompt and courteous.
