You want the best team for the job, and our trained technicians have more than 20 years of experience with polyurethane spray foam. Whether you're a residential, commercial, or industrial customer. AAA Foam Insulation, LLC is here to help with your project.
We recently bought an old house built in 1820 with a walk-up attic that we wanted to convert into finished space. The nearly 200 year old rafters were not deep enough for adequate fiberglass insulation and spray foam was recommended by several contractors and inspectors as the way to go. AAA Foam Insulation was recommended to us and the owner of the company came out to give us an estimate. He had experience with old homes and works regionally in all types of settings. They sprayed open cell foam in some enclosed spaces under our eaves and then closed cell insulation between the rafters, shaving off any overspray so we could install drywall afterwards. The AAA Foam team was friendly, professional, courteous and worked in a very hot environment - it was a very hot day and the spray foam is 125 degrees when it is sprayed, making working conditions unbearable for most people. But the two man crew started at 7:45 am and kept working until they finished at 6:50 pm. They cleaned up very good, and covered the walls and floors thoroughly with plastic to limit overspray. They used a machete to clean up any foam that had expanded beyond the rafters, which would interfere with our ability to install drywall. We were very concerned about the environmental footprint of spray foam since it uses a mix of chemicals that can be very smelly, and we'd read horror stories online about poor installation and smell problems people had experienced. AAA Foam uses the latest chemical mixes which are more environmentally friendly than the old chemicals, and there was no smell whatsoever. We were able to enter the space less than 2 hours after the installation was done and there was no smell at all. We never had to leave the house while the foam cured. Spray foam insulation is expensive, but AAA Foam exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint would be that they are so busy with jobs that it can take a while to communicate with the owner over scheduling.
Description of Work: They installed spray foam insulation in our walk-up attic under the roof and eaves
