I was looking for a carpenter on Angies List and I saw pictures of Greg's work. I reached out to him and he came to check out what I needed done. He got back to me in a few days with a estimate. He did trim in my sons room along with closet doors and a bedroom door. He did my bedroom and my other sons bedroom closet. He also installed my glass shower door. When I tell you how much weight was lifted off my chest, you have no idea! He is very thorough and punctual. I plan on using him for a few more projects that need to be done. Highly recommended!

We could not be happier with our basement remodel, both the process and end result. With the exception of painting days, Greg was there the entire time doing the work himself and/or making sure things were done correctly. He takes pride in his work and caught minor issues that we may not have even noticed. For example, he had the painters come back because there were areas he was not happy with. He made sure that the basement looked great but also that it was done well without cutting corners. It looks amazing and we will definitely be working with him again.

Job went great and it turned out better then we could have imagined. Greg was very professional and paid attention to detail and had some great ideas of his own for our bathroom project. Price was great and would not hesitate to hire Greg again for our home projects.

Short review: Hire Greg Teitsworth for your home project. Really. Longer review: My wife and I own a new construction home - four years old. The bad news is the builder completely muffed the master bathroom build, resulting in water damage and an unusable bathroom. The builder strung us along beyond the one year PA warranty period and then walked away. Not naming the builder - this is a review about Greg Teitsworth Carpentry. The good news. We were put in touch with Greg through a reference from Garden State Tile. We were in way over our heads and knew it. We were looking for a life rope. Called Greg and he stopped by on time on a weekday evening. We thought he would be beat from working all day and then making calls at night. His level of energy and interest in the project, a small project for him, was exceptional. Greg struck the perfect balance between listening to our concerns and vision, and offering his own experience and ideas. We did get other quotes but there really was no choice to be made. Greg's price was in line with others, and his energy and ideas far exceeded others we talked to. We got in Greg's queue (he is busy) and when the time came around, Greg was completely focused on our project. The amount of time and attention to detail that Greg put into the project was far beyond what we could have hoped for. Greg brings along a team of specialists (plumbers; electricians) who match his energy and care for the project. Our master bathroom is now the nicest room in the house! And, we are back in the queue for more work. Simply cannot say enough about what a great experience this was. And in today's world of hurry up, get it done, and cut costs, what a blessing. We can recommend Greg Teitsworth Carpentry without reservation.

The visit itself went very well! Greg was prompt to contact me to set up the consultation and was very friendly and courteous during our visit. He explained his process, as well as the amount of time it would take to complete the project. We discussed different options and Greg provided his opinion on each option. Following some measurements, he left and I received my estimate within a few business days. The estimate included the basics of finishing a 700 sq ft basement, but did not include a vapor barrier or fiberglass batting in my first floor joists for noise dampening. Greg indicated that he would be willing to do this work at an extra cost. I have since had a few other contractors over to my house for additional estimates and they have come in significantly lower than Greg, which is why I rated "Price" as a B. **I'd also like to note that the "Hire Again" question is a bit unfair because I did not hire Greg for this project but Angie's List requires an answer. My answer is in no way a reflection of the quality of his work, it simply indicates that we did not hire him for this particular job.

Greg was great, and had creative ideas. He was trying to work with my budget, which was probably unrealistic. I ended up scrapping the idea for the remodel, as I realized I just can't afford it now.

When we decided to remodel our kitchen and move the laundry room to the second floor, we talked with 5 contractors/kitchen design companies. Greg's estimate was reasonable and he took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. We knew immediately that he was the best person for the job and we were thrilled that we chose him through the end of the job. Throughout the 6 weeks on the job, he was personable and professional (even when this homeowner threw a few monkey wrenches his way!) He had a way of envisioning and implementing my design ideas while keeping the budget in mind, and his suggestions were spot-on. We're remodeling our master bath soon, and we know exactly who we'll call. He's great!

Greg does top quality work with a fine attention to detail. Prior to starting the work, he provided us with recommendations on where to go for the countertop, flooring, lighting, etc. Each and every place he sent us was wonderful to work with. From the very beginning, Greg always let us know the time he would be arriving and the work he planned on completing in a given day. His professional, yet easygoing manner and willingness to work with us made the entire remodel stress-free from start to finish. We are so pleased with Greg's work that we plan to have him back in the fall to build new basement steps, and future plans include a complete remodel of our bathroom.

We couldn't be happier with the work that was done. He provided us with an accurate assessment and estimate in a timely manner. He had helpful suggestions throughout the process which helped save us money and improved the functionality and appearance of the our living space. He did most of the work himself, in a methodical and highly skilled manner. When he used subcontractors, he oversaw their work, which was also excellent. We will be using asking him to renovate our kitchen next. We give him our highest recommendation.

It's been five months now and we still love our bathroom. Not only does it look great, but working with Greg was a very good experience. He is professional, maintained a good balance between doing what we wanted and advising us when our ideas were not so good. Project was completed on time and on budget. No surprises. From the first meeting, Greg listened to what we wanted in terms of outcome and budget and met every expectation we had. Our project involved completely gutting our current bathroom and replacing everything from the electrical, plumbing, heating, and all the bathroom fixtures. We had several discussions as the project went along and Greg always listened and worked with us. The quality of his work was excellent. He took his time and has a great attention to detail. He was able to create custom moulding for our window and door to match the existing moulding of our 1902 house. The project turned out just as we wanted. We would highly recommend Greg to anyone considering any construction or remodeling project.

Very helpful and very professional. Was easy to work with. He gave us two estimates... one more expensive than the other. It depended on what we wanted done and how much we wanted to spend on the remodel.

I had previously purchased the cabinets and Greg and his helpers did a great job installing them. The layout presented a few challenges but Greg managed to complete the job without any problems. I was truly impressed with his planning and attention to detail. All of my requests and concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. Of all the remodeling jobs done on my house recently this project was the most enjoyable. I felt complete confidence that everything was being done correctly down to the last detail. It looks perfect. I am totally satisfied with this job and I am looking forward to another project, an island install, in the near future.

We had numerous estimates from different contractors for basement refinishing, before we could refinish basement per our township regulations we needed Bilco doors or an Egres window. We went with Greg hea was down to earth and personable. He was the lowest estimate and was competent. I viewed his website and his work was very good. We only had the window installed so far for $5000. Which from our other estimates was the best price some of the other estimates were $7500-$10000 just for the window. It was installed last August. Quick and respectful of our property. Very happy with the installation. No issues since then with the window.

We spoke with a few contractors before picking Greg. We felt good about him and his approach to the project from our first meeting. In our project we completely gutted the kitchen and also knocked down an adjoining wall to open up more space. It was a collaborative effort with quite a bit of discussions and exchange of ideas on many aspects on the remodel. Greg's ideas were invaluable in creating and ultimately executing the final plan. The quality of the finish product was very good and we were very happy with the work done by Greg and his brother. We would certainly use them again in fact they will be doing our family room this fall. I would recommend using Greg if you are considering any construction or remodeling project.

He was absolutely great. The porch was really nice and we're really happy. He's really easy to work with and if you make a suggestion about something you'd like, he tries harder to make it happen, so I really that about him. He's always on time, he'll talk with you and easy to discuss your desires with. He listens and he wants to the way the customer would like it done. He does really high quality work. He takes a little bit of time to work but he's very meticulous. I made clear that I wanted to stay within my budget and I would say that was about it. He puts you to be good within your budget and he'll play with something else and try to work with you to stays within your budget.

Work performed in a very professional manner by Greg and his crew. The work was done on time and of very high quality. They not only replaced the siding but fixed any necessary repairs to other parts of the exterior of the house when they removed the old siding as it had been on the house for 34 years. The porch turned out great and we have received many compliments. Walkway was replaced and new one also has been noted by many as being very well done. It had previously been a concrete walkway and now was a slate one. New hot water heater installed is of new technology and the installer took the time to explain how to operate and maintain. Contractor responded very promptly to any calls for quick follow up questions for minor adjustments.

Greg helped design and put together a great living space. The basement lives like a comfortable second home. He qualified himself as an honest and trustworthy person over the course of a complicated project.

The work was performed professionally and in a very neat manner. He showed up as promised and worked well with responding to our needs. After completion of the work Greg also contacted us to inquire if there was any issues and came back to resolve some minor touch up work. The rooms he renovated look excellent. Previous to this had had also renovated our bathroom and did an excellent job. We would definitely recommend him and have further work done. His sub contractors also did a good job.
