This was the 4th time we have worked with Roslyn on our house - previously she had designed our living room, dining room/library, master bathroom and bedroom. The reason we have used her so much is quite simply that she is a fantastic designer. She has real flair and vision, and her designs constantly surpise us with both their creativity and understanding of our needs. In this case, we met with her to discuss our thoughts (we wanted to keep the layout of our kitchen, and the existing cabinets and countertop). She was able to interpret our requests and came up with a vision that was exactly what we wanted but absolutely dazzling in its use of colour and its unity with the rest of the house. She created the overall design, selected appliances and hardware, designed new cabinet doors, and created a bar-top addition to the existing countertop. In particular, she designed a new corner cabinet for us including a wine cooler, and had it fabricated beautifully. She listened to us when we had questions or concerns, and she always took care to give us exactly what we wanted. On this occasion, Roslyn also acted as our general contractor, and she was very exacting and professional, helping us to resolve an issue with a non-functioning appliance. She also works only with top-quality people - Larry Leifheit from Accent Electric, Russell from Fox Chase Custom Cabinetry. We were very pleased with the results. We have always had a good experience working with Roslyn - not least because as well as being extremely professional and talented, she is also a thoroughly nice person.
