Excellent! I am retired, and consequently was on-hand the whole time Rich was on-site to watch him work. (He cheerfully tolerated my watching him, and explained everything he did to me, which is meritorious in itself.) I was very impressed by Rich’s attention to detail and the care he took throughout the job. Prior to being finished, the basement was used for a woodshop. There was an extensive amount of wiring in the ceiling which supported various woodworking machines. Much of the wiring for the shop was spliced into pre-existing house circuits, and there were junction boxes everywhere in the ceiling. To my horror, I learned from Rich that wherever there was a junction box, the building code requires that there be an access panel installed in the drywall ceiling that covers it in order to provide access to the junction box. Rich was sensitive to my concern that I didn’t want access panels everywhere in my finished basement ceiling. He decommissioned many circuits and rewired many others so that there would not be junction boxes above the finished ceiling. In the end I was left with a single barely-noticeable access panel in my new ceiling. I can’t say enough about Rich’s attention to detail, and his cheerful demeanor throughout the job. I even employed his services outside of our renovation contract, in order to address some problems I was having with some of my other ethernet cabling. I would enthusiastically employ Rich for any future electrical work we undertake with no reservations whatsoever.

Rich came and fixed an electrical panel that was deemed faulty during a home inspection. His price to replace was way more reasonable than other quotes. Once he turned the power off to really get into the job he discovered that he could just repair, as opposed to replace, and cut my costs even further. Great to know that people still actually repair things! Communication was solid. Would definitely use Rich again.

I contacted Rich and left a message. He promptly returned my call and set up an estimate for that same day. We discussed our needs and he came up with the most efficient plan. Work was scheduled for the following week. He called to confirm and arrived promptly. The job was completed quickly and he was extremely respectful to my home and possessions. He cleaned after he was finished and returned all furniture to its proper place. He was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be using him for any future jobs.

I found Rich through a contractor who I hired to finish my basement. In addition to the work I mentioned above, Rich installed recessed lighting, many outlets, and set-up my TV, so the components were hidden behind a wall. The pricing I mentioned were for the services above; these were extras not included in my contractor's bid. Working with Rich was a pleasure. He discussed our plans for the basement and configured the lighting to match. He showed terrific creativity and was very flexible. He was very responsive and met his commitments, which is rare these days. Rich is an excellent businessman. He came in and completed his initial work, but listened to my needs, which led to the follow-on work. He wasn't pushy at all, but acted more in a consultative way. One thing that really impressed me was Rich's follow-up. I had forgotten about the closet light and mentioned it to Rich. He remembered without my having to call and chase him. He called and emailed me to make arrangements for the installation. I have already referred Rich to my daughter and son-in-law for work in their nursery. In addition, I plan to have Rich update some outdoor wiring and upgrade my service to 200 amp.

I had a few issues with wiring in my kitchen the week before Christmas and lots to do! I called Robotin Electric to see if they could come out quickly. Rich called me back promptly to schedule a time and showed up when expected. Rich and his son Rick easily fixed the problem, cleaned up the wiring, and even took care of little details such as labeling breakers. I have some larger jobs that I'm planning and will definitely use Robotin Electric again. Rich and Rick were both personable and professional, but most importantly honest, fair, and did quality work.

Rich did a great job and gave good suggestions for improvements to my original plan, all of which I liked. He was punctual and professional.

Rich worked with my wife and I to add some more GFCI outlets in our kitchen. He worked with us over a month to make sure we were doing exactly what we wanted and within our budget. He was very accommodating to our continuously changing tastes, as at first we were looking to add a lot of other features to the kitchen. He came in cheaper than some of the higher rated electricians here too. His work was clean and he was confident in what he had to do. It was a pleasure working with him and we would definitely use him again if we have further work. I'm not going to fill out the cost as it really depends upon the house. We were lucky in that our electrical service box was just a few feet under the kitchen, so running it was relatively easy. People with longer and harder distances will obviously have to pay more for the same work, so it's not fair to quote the cost since it's going to vary drastically.
