G&B recently completed a driveway, sidewalks and patio with fire pit for us and it turned out beautifully. George offered several helpful suggestions for choosing the right color and stamping pattern to really tie the project in with the house. These extra details are why we chose G&B above the others. The crew was prompt on completing the projects as well as courteous and mindful of our neighbors during the job. Highly, highly recommend for any concrete needs.

The job was done promptly and to township required specs. Estimating and invoicing was challenging as there were numerous mistakes throughout the process but it all got corrected in the end

They came a little later in the day then expected but it all worked out ok. They did a good job removing the fire pit and ensuring I had enough of a hole for a fence post to be put into the ground.

Great experience working with George. He came out the next day after we contacted him and quickly diagnosed the issue we were having with our retaining wall. He took pictures and thoroughly explained the recommended work in order to fix the problem. The G&B team came out the next week and completed the needed repairs. G&B Construction offered quality, affordable work and we would definitely recommend him to others.

The front sidewalk that G&B Construction replaced for us is absolutely amazing and has held up well in both the hot and cold weather! George and his crew were very skillful at creating a slight curve in the sidewalk (before the turn was at a 90 degree angle) and a flare at the driveway that really makes the front sidewalk look so much more inviting and welcoming. They also banked the sidewalk for better drainage and raised it up so that there was a much smaller step up onto the front porch. The crew that came out to the house was very nice and professional! They worked really hard to keep the driveway clean while bringing loads of wet concrete to the sidewalk location. Rachel, the office manager, was also really helpful in getting this project organized. I am very happy that we hired G&B Construction and have shared our experience with our neighbors. If I need any more concrete work done, I will definitely call them again!

I had found G&B Construction on Angie's List by their great reviews. After hiring them I see why they got such great reviews. I had George come out to give me an estimate on extending the concrete slab I currently have in my back yard. His quote was the best one I received for equal work. While he was here, I ask for a quote to remove and re-pour the front porch that we had to cut for a sewer line replacement. His quote was so much cheaper than all other I had received, that I decided to add it to the project. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would and went straight to work. They made such good progress, that they decided that they would do the pour on the same day, instead of the next day. The pour went quickly and they finished the job with the great expertise I expected. One person on the crew came back the next day to do some final touch ups on the edges and he also put my flower bed back so it does not even look like they were here. He also brought some top soil to fill in the gap in front of my new patio. In the future, when I have my asphalt drive replaced with concrete, I will definitely hire them again.

Great, as usual! This is my 3 year when I use GB on various projects around the house. I've redone my sidewalk this year and I can only say great things about them. Team showed up on time, cleaned up thoroughly when they finished, added grass seeds on the sides, so I am very happy! Highly recommend!

I had G&B Construction redo my concrete driveway and build a new concrete patio. I am very pleased with the whole process and with the way my new driveway and patio looks like! Geoge came out and gave me an estimate, sent me a written proposal and scheduled the job based on my own schedule. His team cleaned up very nicely and best of all - my kid got the chance to sit in a back hoe !!!! Would definitely use them again.

They tore down my existing wall and re-build a new one out of bricks and EP. Henry blocks. The team was very courteous and they cleaned out very well after they finished.

The job was never completed. I contacted G&B through Angie's List. I exchanged messages asking them for a quote. They asked for the address which I provided and then I heard nothing for days. I called the company and spoke to Rachel. She informed me that Angie's list updated their system and my posts must have gotten lost. Despite this sounding like a convenient excuse, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked them to complete the quote. I received the quote to repair my sidewalk for $5800. I then called back and asked when the job could be completed and who was responsible for getting permits. I was told by Rachel that she would return my call the same day. I have still heard nothing a week later. Perhaps business is so good that customer service no longer matters even after getting a second chance. I felt the need to post this review because $5800 is a considerable investment for many people and they shouldn't be treated like their money doesn't matter.

This was a great experience, from start to finish. George explained every detail of the process, helping with suggestions. The crew was professional, hard working and accomplished a huge amount in a short time. (Several neighbors remarked on that.) It was a difficult project because of the close quarters in this neighborhood; despite that, they managed with a minimum of disruption. The finished driveway and path are just what I was hoping for, and I have already recommended G&B to others.

From the first telephone call to the last meeting this has been a very positive experience. Questions were answered in a timely manner - they went out of their way to explain processes. The team that did the demo and install were friendly, polite, neat, and conscientious workers. The site was spotless when the finished each day.

First they arrived at the time they promised me. They removed the brick wall which was falling apart. They put the stone wall in with a barrier between the dirt and the new bricks. They filled the new bricks with stone. After they finished the wall they cut a long hole in the concrete on my patio for my flower bed without touching the light pole I have. They cleaned up all the debris when they were done. The job was completed in one day. I am extremely pleased with the way it looks and with the professional and courteous way they worked.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The appointment to do a estimate was kept. George explained how the job would be done, prepared an estimate and committed to complete the job within 4 weeks. The work was completed in just 2 weeks. Excellent quality, reasonable pricing and timely completion of the work- all expectations were met. I strongly recommend G &B Construction and would use them again should the need arise.

George came to the house and was very straightforward and fair, very friendly. The two guys he sent to do the work were also really great. They were respectful, informative, knowledgeable, and really good at what they do. Everyone was always on time. The only issue was very minor, which was mostly caused by a mistake on my behalf. I asked George to come back out and check something and I got the days mixed up, so I wasn't able to be there. The only issue I had was that I asked the receptionist to have him call me back and let me know what he saw, but he never did. I called again two days later and she read the notes to me and said she would have George call me back to let me know what should be done next. I never received a call back after that.

Great work. Very responsive, professional, flexible and reasonable price. We got several estimates and chose to work with G&B based on reviews and professionalism. We will use them again in the future.

They were AMAZING!!!! I have no words to describe the level Professionalism that he and his son display. He was puntual and finish the job on time. The ower and his son did an amazing job. They exceed our expectations in every posible category. If you need a job well done and on time. He is the person to call. I was really impress and I will recommend to all my family and friends.

The reason I didn't give G&B an A for price is because it was a really expensive job. But all the quotes we got were similar, so we went with G&B because George did such a good job of explaining what the work would encompass. I was able to understand the stages of the work and to follow the workmen's progress. After we set a date for starting the work, the workmen started promptly (but not at the crack of dawn, to my neighbors' relief) and were able to complete the job in 4 days. The workmen were polite and helpful when I would cross the sidewalk-in-progress. I think they put boards down over the gravel (before they poured the concrete), to make it easier for me to cross. George did a walk around with me when the work was done and gave me advice on how to speed up curing the cement on the driveway, so we could park out car sooner. Since the job was completed, we've gotten many compliments from our neighbors about how nice the sidewalk is.

Very friendly and courteous. They did the job in one day and I am extremely pleased with the service. Will definitely re-hire in the future for other projects.
