CIARLANTE CUSTOM UPHOLSTERING

We had a 60+ year old sofa (inherited from my mother) that we loved for size and comfort - but the upolstery was a large woven design that clashed with everything else in the room. It remained slipcovered for many years while we searched for an acceptable replacement . Finally we decided that nothing could replace the sofa so we called Mike Ciarlante to the rescue! Mike responded promptly to our e mail - made and appointment to come out and give us a quote - and an evaluation as to whether it was worth doing. Because the frame was heavy, solid wood it passed his inspection. Mike showed us fabric samples but was also willing to use our fabric if we didn't see anything we liked. We picked an fabric and arrainged to have the sofa picked up the day before we left for a two week vacation. While waiting for the pick up I decided to also have the two occaisonal chairs that I already had fabric for included. (I was going to do these myself til I met Mike and saw how professional he was.) The day after we returned from vacation Mike delivered our NEW sofa and chairs. We couldn't be more pleased with the results - you would never know the sofa was as old as it is after Mike Ciarlante's gave it a face lft.
