I had called other electricians for weeks, I felt like I had to chase them down to even get an appointment for 2 weeks in the future. I finally called Accent Electric and someone actually answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for the next day- no voicemail needed! I love the quick response time and quality of work, I've had a couple repairs I've just never had done and was so pleased with the first job I called back a second time to finish the rest. I would recommend Accept Electric to everyone I know!

Larry worked for about 2 days and we were very impressed with his work. He was punctual and worked very hard and efficiently. On the first day I saw that he didn't take a break! Before he started I thought the estimate was a little high, but once I saw the quality of his work I found that the price was fair. He cleaned up after himself extremely well. He pointed out a few other things that we should address, and we definitely plan to invite him back to do that. He has a great personality and was very pleasant to work with.

Again. The quality of Larry's work is great. He has done a great job for us several times. We will continue using him and recommending him to others.

Very good experience. Prompt return call from Larry. Work was done on the day Larry said it would be done and during the time frame he thought he would arrive. A phone call from Larry when he was leaving the previous job was helpful and courteous. I would use Larry/Accent Electric for additional work at our home.

Great job! Larry was very professional, explained everything in terms I could understand. He was very accessable either by phone or email for my questions. He showed up as scheduled, on time. He is very respectful to the customer and the home. He is extremely detail oriented, he can even make a service cable strapped to the house look good! Really...the straps, attaching the cable to the full back length of the house are a uniform 36 inches apart! Everything was cleaned up, finished on time. I will use Larry again...overall , a very pleasant experience!

I was extremely pleased with the level of responsiveness of this company. Larry came in and got right to work. He repaired and re-installed my new outdoor lamp post. He accomplished the work, professionally and with care. He is now, our new electrician.

He gave us an estimate that was the best of three we received from electricians, all of whom were highly rated on Angie's List. He scheduled the work promptly and showed up on time every day. He kept in touch by phone as the job approached and called the day before. He did a neat and professional job. He cleaned up after himself. He stuck to the quoted price even though the job turned out to be a little more involved than he expected. Everything now works well and we are thoroughly pleased. He is a really nice guy and easy to work with.

In our 200+ year old home that presents immense challenges for all contractors, Mr. Leithead and a subcontractor that worked with him overhauled a significant portion of our electrical system. The job was completed in the time given for the project and at the quoted price. As this was a muli-day job, Mr. Leithead clearly communicated what days he would be working, maintained that schedule, and aside from short trips to acquire supplies, worked all day every day at our house. He also communicated clearly about some of the challenges he faced with particular parts of the job, and where possible, provided options for tackling the challenge. Though it may seem less important than getting the job done, I truly appreciated the care that was taken to work neatly and not make a mess in our home. Given our ancient, messy, water invaded basement, being neat is no easy feat! Mr. Leithead covered surfaces everywhere he worked, and even covered floors and entrance ways where he was moving around. All areas where work was completed were left neat and clean with no debris left behind. As the work progressed, we requested that a couple of small items be added to the project; Mr. Leithead handled those requests with ease. We have had many contractors perform services in our home over the years; few have been as professional as Mr. Leithead. My "B" rating for "responsiveness" only reflects the fact that from the time we first contacted Accent Electric, it took a little over a month to get the job started. Given the nature and size of our project, we knew that fitting us in would be a challenge, and that the wait was necessary...not to mention well worth it! We are completely satisfied with the work, and we now have confidence that our home electrical system is safe and efficient. We have already recommended Accent Electric to a number of people in our area.

I am extremely pleased with all of his work and very relieved that all is now repaired. His work is very neat. He arrived on time and was here all day. He was informative about everything that he did. I would highly recommend Larry and will definitely call him again. Thank you, Angie's Choice

Very well. Larry Leithead arrived on time and go right to work. He installed the exhaust vent to the outside soffit. He had to go up into the attic crawlspace in June! Very hot up there. Then he had to re-fish and rewire a sconce outside in the patio area. The wire had to be re-fished up through the basement drop ceiling to the fixture outside. He was on the job about two hours. He also recommended insulating around the fixture outside since the gasket around the fixture had worn. He didn't want rain water to short circuit the sconce. I did that recently for all the sconces around the house.

Overall, it was an excellent job, Larry was on time, professional, worked hard, but managed to answer any questions i asked. I was most impressed that he managed to return my original call while he was on vacation.

I called and he advised me that he was very busy. He did let me know that if he didn't get back to me, I should try to contact and other service provider.

While doing another job for us, Larry noticed that our service line attached to the Peco lines on the house were very old and deteriorating. We received an estimate that afternoon and authorized the work. He also took care of the electrical permit that was required. Waiting to hear from township inspector, but don't expect any issues. We are very pleased again with the work.

Our new water heater kept burning out fuses in the antiquated electrical box. I called Larry, and he came at 7am the next day. He updated the electrical box for the water heater in about an hour. He was prompt, professional and charged a fair price. While working on the heater problem, he noticed that our service line was old and very worn. He sent a quote that afternoon for that work. We are extremely pleased with Accent Electric.

Got the name from Angie's list due t good reputation. Fair estimates given. Lots of choices offered. Spent 2 days in the house. We were extremely satisfied with the services provided.Fair priced

Came out to the house, gave an estimate, did the work. Very neat. Made it very easy.

The estimate for this work was competitive, and the work scheduled for completion just before the New Year. Larry provided details on the work he planned to do, giving me clear options on approach/outcome. He took care to keep the inside of our house clean while he worked (protecting the floors with tarp). He was prompt, and completed everything! I have additional work, and I will definitely be calling Accent back.

Very responsive to original request for quote. Flexible to work with (I had to go out during the day for an appointment, and Larry returned the next day). Very professional, and even conscientious about our pets (in terms of leaving doors open, using drop cloths and boarding up the grass near the back door to avoid bringing in mud from outside, etc.). Larry and his crew were very professional, and I would definitely work with them again.

Larry gave a professional estimate and understood the deceptively complex job immediately. Frankly, he is the best electrician I've met in philly-and I obtained estimates for this particular job from 4 other Angie's List A rated electricians. Not only was his professionalism and courtesy impeccable, but his invoice was the lowest price.

Unfortunately he never found the reason for it; I found the problem later and repaired it myself. I wasn?t very happy. He was here for about an hour and a half and I thought the price was rather expensive for that. He was very highly rated on Angie?s List which is why I used him.

I can?t comment on them as they didn?t do any work for me. I felt that the quote was really high. I used another company for the work. I will probably not use this company again in the future.

Contacted Accent. Larry gave me a quote very quickly. It took some time to schedule work (this was not an emergency, as I wrapped the deteriorated service cable with duct tape). Larry showed up promptly on the scheduled day, and worked very diligently until the project was completed. He was very careful to avoid damaging shrubbery, and not leave any mess behind. He noted that the cable had an unnecessary bend on the side of the house, and suggested running it straight down the side. This new arrangement looks much better than the original arrangement. He even snapped a lose piece of vinyl siding back into place while he had a ladder on the wall. His thoroughness exceeded my expectations.
