I have used this service before so I hired him to redo all the old wiring in my house. It was extensive work that required cutting into walls. He did a great job and created minimal disruption. Cleaned up after himself. I waited a few months before writing this to make everything worked well. No complaints whatsoever. Very competent and easy to work with.

The house was a recent purchase that needed electrical prior to moving in. I contacted Accent Electric and talked to Larry about the work that I needed to be done in the house. Larry was very personable and professional. He explained in detail everything that would be done. He even offered to options and answered all my questions and made suggestions that saved me time and money. I gave him the go ahead to do the work, and the day after, he called me about not being able to pull the permit to do the work. The County would provide the permit since my name was not yet in their system as the owner of record. Since I just recently purchased the house, the deed change was not yet recorded. Since I was living out of State, it took me several days to get the county to issue the permit. Once the permit was pulled, Larry began the work and updated me on the progress. Even with the delay, Larry finished well before move-in day. He took great care and cleaned up the areas where he worked. We were very please with the work Larry did. Even the electrical inspector from the county commented that the electrical work performed was neatest work he has ever seen. Will use him again in the future.

Everything went according to schedule. Even though I didn't get comparative quotes for the work, the price was about what I expected. The main reason I called Accent Electric was because of their high rating on Angie's List...I found that the reputation was well-deserved.

It went great. Larry is very personable and professional. He arrived on time and worked dligently and did a great job. Will use him for any future projects.

Larry and I exchanged emails but eventually set up a day for him to come out for a quote. He was in and out in about ten minutes. Shortly after leaving, he called to ask about a few things. Quote was received within 2 days. His quote was higher than another quote I had received. Let him know I would be going with someone else. He thanked me for letting him know as he stated most won't even let him know. The way I see it, is if they take the time to put together a quote and come out and see me for potential service, I will contact them. Just common courtesy.

It went perfect and I would use them again.

Larry was phenomenal. He is so kind and thorough. He had every detail covered. He provided a good quote and stuck to the quote - it even came in a little under to the quote. He left the house spotless when he was finished. He followed up a couple weeks later to make sure everything was working to our satisfaction.

From my first contact to completion of the project, Larry and his staff were nothing but professional. He was prompt, courteous, and thoroughly professional. One thing I especially appreciate is Larry's willingness to use email for communication. Replies were always within 24 hrs. Larry took great care with my new hardwood floors, covering them at every step of the way. It was clear that he takes great pride in his work as he completed each job with care and cleaned up the area before proceeding to the next job. As a homeowner with limited time, I appreciate his attention to detail. Larry also gave suggestions for improvements that have made quite a difference in the appearance and function of my new lighting, including where to include dimmer switches. I would not hesitate to hire Larry for any future electrical work. I recommend him highly.

I was very impressed with the work, it took three days which we were advised of at the time of the estimate. Larry was very professional and very informative. Very trust worthy. We would and probably will hire him again in the future without hesitation.

All went very well. Accent promptly responded to our call, was very responsive to our issue and came when he said he would . He repaired the problem quickly and professionally. I would definitely use Accent again and would recommend them to anyone.

I made contact with Larry on the morning of the 14th and he was able to come to my house that same day, early in the afternoon. I showed Larry what and where the problem was and after some diagnostics, Larry was able to solve the problem and get power back to the rest of the house. Larry was very professional and broke down, in detail, the work that he was doing. Larry also found some other issues that need to be corrected and we will have him back in the near future for those corrections.

Larry was excellent and performed a superb job. I would certainly recommend him for any job and I fully expect to use him for any of my future electrically needs that I can?t or don?t want to do myself. Since the job was a long list of items Larry brought in Derek to assist and he did an excellent job as well. Both were polite, professional, knowledgeable, and tidy. I struggle to find any negatives of my experience with Accent Electric. Every time I contacted Larry he picked up or called me back within a few minutes and was even able to help me when I couldn't find my copy of the permit for the inspection. Of the three contractors I contacted from Angies List, Accent Electric was the lowest priced but only by a couple of hundred dollars. It varied on a few items since I asked all three contractors to provide an itemized bill. I nervously chose Larry not because he was the lowest estimate, although that helped, but because he wasn?t trying to tell me what I wanted, instead he listened to what I was telling him I wanted. I couldn?t have made a better choice and am delighted to have my 40 year old home powered like it was brand new. Thanks Larry, the inspection was quick and easy and I will be contacting you in a few years to help finish my basement.

Larry did an excellent job. He took time to make sure that the installation is neat and perfect. Cleaned up after he left. Best I have seen so far. I would definitely recommend him.

We first contacted another electric company (which was also highly rated here on Angie's List), who gave us an estimate of $725 to complete what they thought would be a 4-5 hour job. We thought this price was high, so we contacted Accent Electric for a second estimate. Larry came over within the hour and had the problem fixed within ten minutes! He saved us a huge amount of money!!! Larry was extremely polite and professional throughout his time here. Hands down, he is the best electrician we have ever worked with! We highly recommend this company to anyone!

While Larry's quote wasn't the lowest we got, it was competitive. His initial consultation was thoughtful and thorough. In the end we decided that Larry seemed trustworthy and honest, so we went with him. Turns out that Larry is the consummate professional. He is prompt, neat, friendly, and a pleasure to have around. His quality of work is top notch. The Bensalem electrical inspector was even impressed, saying it was some of the best work he'd seen. Its safe to say that Larry will be our go-to guy for all things electrical from here on out. Larry stuck to his price quote, and even threw in a few things free of charge.

Larry was terrific and great to work with. The electrical work was done on time, and done very well. Larry was very professional and did all of the work in the time frame promised and at the cost as quoted in the estimate. He cleaned up and all of the areas were clean and spotless. Accent Electric promptly returned my phone call to come out and provide an estimate. After reviewing the estimate we scheduled a date for the service. Accent Electric was flexible with accomodating my work-from-home wife and her buisness schedule by operating within limited hours during the day. I have worked with numerous contractors over the last 20+ years and have more-often-than-not been regularily dissapointed. Accent Electric has shown top-notch quality profesional and coutious service. They are tops on my list for any future electrical work that I may need.

I picked Accent Electric based upon Angie's List recommendations, and found the service to be everything it was supposed to be and more. Larry came out, did an estimate, and responded quickly to our requests. He gave us some excellent pointers for wiring my small basement shop for lights/outlets, as well as installing a box for a ceiling fan in our den. Today was the day scheduled for the work, and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He did a great job, cleaned up after himself, and the price was dead on his estimate. He even accommodated my mistake in telling him the wrong switch to install, and re-installed the correct switch prior to leaving, and not charging extra. When he still agreed to honor the coupon discount, we felt compelled, in return,to split the coupon amount with him since he was so gracious in working with us. Larry is a straight-up professional in every way, and we will definitely use him again if needed. We highly recommend him to our fellow Angie's List members.

My wife and I bought our 70+ year old house almost 2 years ago, and we knew that the electrical wiring was in need of some upgrading-- there was only one 3-prong outlet on the second floor, and just a few on the first floor. We also realized almost immediately that there were no outlets in the bathrooms. After watching many home improvement shows, We soon realized that more spots of the house were done improperly, including pot-lights in our attic that were not rated for insulation, overloaded circuits, and messy wiring that was already "fixed" once after our home inspection. Larry came to the rescue. He quotes a fair price for what he does-- neat work (in a sweltering attic), that upon inspection was declared to be above minimum code. The work that we got was quality, and Larry and his assistant Derek did not take shortcuts. Working in a 70+ year old house, it was neat to watch Larry solve the problem of rewiring our house; he always expressed all of the various options we could try, with different pricing, and always let us know when something that required home-owner signoff came up. One other thing that's great about Accent Electric is that they are VERY responsive to email. Larry was open to communicating via email for appointments, and that's something that we are very grateful for-- it worked much better than expected. We definitely felt that Larry and his assistant Derek have a strong work ethic. When doing the work, Larry noted other questionable areas of the house, and fairly quoted for correct remediation of the problems. He only did the work we were comfortable with, and was always cognizant of our budget. We are very happy with the work that they did; they were on-time, highly communicative, and showed a high degree of professionalism when they arrived. They worked hard, and always cleaned up their work after every day. So, if you are looking for someone that will do things the right way, wtih excellent communication skills and general friendliness, we will recommend Accent Electric. We were not disappointed with the results, and they will be our first call for any future projects.

I dealt with Larry on this job, and he was very reliable. He arrived for the estimate at the agreed upon time, and the work was done on the date and time scheduled. This was an important concern of mine since I had to schedule time off from work. The actual cost of the job was $765, but $165 was for a permit and inspection required by my township. The finished work looks great, and works fantastic. The work area in the bathroom and bedroom (where access to the attic was located) was so clean when Larry left, you wouldn't have known that work had been done. Larry was a pleasure to work with, and I will definitely be contacting him if we are in need of electrical services in the future.

I was having a strange electrical smell in my son's bedroom and I found Accent on Angie's list. Larry came out to trouble shoot the problem and checked the wiring and discovered that all three bedroom window air conditioners were on the same circuit, which was overloaded. He added a new circuit to the panel box and the problem went away. I also asked him to check wiring on several other outlets that we had checked with a tester and found to be miswired. He also replaced two exterior outlets with new gfi outlets. He was conscientious, clearly knows his business and was careful to put a drop cloth down to catch any dust or debris that could fall out of any overhead fixtures. We felt a sense of trust with Larry and felt his pricing was very fair. We just purchased a 100-year-old rental property 20 miles away that had still had fuses and some electrical wiring that was a bit suspect. We looked for a local provider near that house, without luck, so we called Larry. He came out first for an emergency service when a fuse melted itself into the panel box. Then he came for 4-5 days to replace all the fuse boxes with circuit breakers and he checked every single outlet and fixture in the 3-unit house, rewiring or replacing the bad ones. He also replaced an old wired electrical heater. While we hated to spend the money on this work, we felt confident that Larry was ensuring the safety of our tenants and was well worth the investment. We have confidence the job was done properly.

We went with Larry because his price was good and he seemed to understand that we couldn't get everything done at once. His estimates were thorough and easy to understand. The work he did stayed close to the expected price even though he wasn't always certain what he would find in our walls. The team showed up and worked quickly and efficiently through the many different items needed to be done in our house. They consulted us whenever an outlet wasn't wired as expected and gave us additional suggestions that helped us out. We could've been better prepared by moving furniture, etc, but the team worked around this with no fuss or complaint. They covered all of our furniture and the amount of dust that was created was very minimal, considering every room in the house had work done in it. The work was done very neatly making a minimum of holes in the walls/ceiling. Per our agreement, the holes were patched to a rough condition - the patching will take minimal/almost no work on our end to get painted. After the work was done, an inspector was coordinated to come out and look at the work. Overall, we had a good experience with Accent Electric on both occasions. We felt he gave us the best service that fit our available budget and needs and provided us great piece of mind that our house is now wired safely and correctly.

Larry was late arriving for the estimate, approximately 30-45 minutes. He was polite and professional and proceeded to walk through the house with us and make notes of the work we needed. We selected another company with a lower price, but I would not hesitate to call him for an estimate for future projects.
