The initial time they came out, everything went great. The tech wrote it all out on the bill and I couldn't read the writing so I called. I asked if the tech left a message for someone to call me and they said he did. I called the next day and was told they would get back to me. I haven't heard from them since.

I've given up waiting. It has been almost two months since the first of five calls, three of which were responded to. This is very disappointing, since I have used Markle's twice in the past and had been completely satisfied, enough to rate them highly here. The simple thing for them to do, rather than leading me on, would be to just say we don't want the job. Professional courtesy. I am done with them.

I had called this provider in the past because I was familiar with the company. At that time I just needed a washer in the hot water knob of my shower. The shower had ongoing problems that were becoming worse and worse and I contacted the company the Friday before Labor Day. I was told the gentleman did not have the paperwork in front of him and could I call back on Tuesday. I called on the day after Labor Day and was told that the owner was not in yet and they would call be back later that day. To this date I have never received a return call from this company. I waited for a full week and heard nothing. The next week I got up to take a shower and discovered that I now had no cold water in the shower. When I got to work I called a different local company and they had someone at my house in one hour. He found it was another washer problem and repaired it. We also discussed what Markles had said they were going to do and if the new company could do the same thing. Not only could they but they returned the following week and completed the job. My shower now works great, looks great and I have had no further issues with it. Not only did Markles not return my calls but they allowed my situation to get to the point of desperation. If they did not want the job the professional and courteous thing to do would have been to let me know that so I could look elsewhere. My experience with this company was very disappointing because I also knew the family on a personal level through our children and thought they were reputable. I have learned a valuable lesson in this case.

Our grinder pump on our septic system malfunctioned, and Markles Plumbing and Heating responded promptly the same day we called. After determining the problem, Markles went to considerable length to find us a compatible pump. In order to facilitate the repair, my husband and I drove out to the Poconos to get the pump, and Markles was at our house when we returned, ready to install it on a Friday afternoon, so that we did not have to spend the weekend without water. They were very professional, friendly, and caring.

They gave quick estimates. They were precise with the time that they said they were going to be there and they cleaned up their job after they were done. I have called other people and their prices were more expensive than the price that Markles charged me. The quality of their work was also topnotch. They were very professional and really responsive. They got back to me with a price on an estimate and they stayed within those boundaries. They actually finished up when they said they would be done and did not drag the job out or anything. They were polite and well dressed. They had uniforms.

We had a slow draining tub and bathroom sink that turned into a no draining tub and sink. The gentleman had to use three or four different types of snakes before he finally got the line opened. Very pleasant, courteous and fast working. We used this company about 4 1/2 years ago for a broken sewer line and was quite pleased with their work at that time as well. They will be the first plumber I call if ever in need in the future.

They were very professional and prompt. They explained to us that what they were doing wasn't a guarantee, but it did fix the problem.

It went very well. It was determined that the only problem was with the heating unit. Work done in under an hour. One service person came, which is cost-effective.

They would call and set up an appointment and then would either cancel or never show up. Most of the time they would say they would call back and never return the call. We told them to stay out of the driveway because it was icy but they did not listen. When they tried to leave they spun the tires kicking up rocks broken windows and damaged my vehicle.
