+ 0 moreVery unprofessional. As a business professional, I would have said "great, I'm glad you got your issue taken care of. Maybe you will think of me in the future" And I would have left my card. You can bet I would call him back. Common courtesy is rare these days, and that is what makes a difference with me. good old fashioned customer service.
Description of Work: I called this company and they could not be bothered until the next day. I had a serious issue, and they were too busy, so I had called several plumbers to come out, get pricing , etc. I had one coming out the same day, so I called and left a message with "Hugo's" He claimed I did not leave a message. He showed up the next day, and I told him that I had called and left him a message. He was very rude, and said "whatever..I didn't get a message." He is the only plumber who "didn't get my message" Funny, all the others I called to thank and say I had someone coming got my messages. He billed me for $65.00 and left a nasty comment on his bill saying "he WILL be paid for his time". I WILL not pay him, and I WILL not use him ever. I WILL report him to the better business bureau, and I WILL tell everyone I see/talk to not to use him. I still have a good amount of plumbing work to be done that will cost me a few thosand dollars. Based on his professionalism, I know who I won't be calling.

+ -1 moreMr. Hugo responded to my phone call quickly. He started the repair the next day and worked quickly. The total was much less than I anticipated! Would use him again.
Description of Work: He fixed several leaking pipes and restored our water service.

+ -1 moreI called Hugo's Plumbing and got a call back very quickly. Was able to schedule an apointment the next day. He showed up when scheduled and went to perform the work needed. My only concern is that he had an assistand and I ended up paying an hour labor for each of them at the full rate. So I paid for two hours of labor for a job that took about an hour.
Description of Work: Replaced a leaking valve and pressure reducer valve.

+ -1 moreMy husband and I were trying to get my dad's old house (which had been vacant for two years) up and running so we could bring our children with us to reside there. Pipes had frozen and the damage was extensive. We called them and they were the ONLY ones who even bothered to call us back. They came by the house in under 30 minutes. They found and repaired the split pipe upstairs and even came back the next day to help us with the kitchen sink. The whole time they were friendly and professional. The bill came today and it was half of what we were expecting, honestly. I really can't say enough. These days good customer service is hard to find. I will make these guys my "go-to" plumbers for all jobs on our house. Thank you Hugo's!!!
Description of Work: These gentlemen helped us out the day before Thanksgiving (!) when we had no running water in our house. They found a split in a pipe upstairs and repaired that. Just when we thought we were in the clear we had a pipe bust under our kitchen sink downstairs. They came back and hooked us up there, too; they even installed the new faucet for us.
