Jason and his crew are great! I had a fairly small job and Jason treated it just like a big one. Jason gave his opinions on my original ideas. Based on that, we scaled back a bit. It was the right call and I thank him for it as I would have just wasted a lot of money for something not needed. Another contractor may have just done the job, taken my money, and not looked back. I appreciate his honesty and opinions. Jason also gave me a price range and, when the job was done, came in at the lower limit he quoted. On the day of the job, the crew was right on time. Jason walked them through the job and left them to it. Billy and Anthony were very proficient and pleasant to work with. The installation was neat, up to code, and clean. They were in and out fairly quickly. Even though we talked a bit, they never stopped working or wasted time. Couldn’t ask for a better pair of guys on the job. Jason called when all was said and done to follow up. He made sure everything was to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend Jason and his crew from JDM Electric. Good work at a fair and reasonable price, done in a timely manner.

Jason with JDM Electric was the only person that got back to me even though I messaged two other companies through Angie's List. He installed the outlets we needed for our washer and dryer and also fixed a light in our kitchen that had been wired incorrectly. Jason was very nice, worked with us to do the job exactly the way we wanted and was able to do the work we needed almost immediately! I would definitely hire him again and would recommend his company to anyone looking for an electrician.

Jason answered our call when he was on vacation in another state, and was able to fix our issue (blown fuse in the hot tub) when he returned a few days later. He did the whole job in under two hours, and saved us a huge amount of lost income on our rental property with his prompt and professional service. Jason will be our go-to electrician from now on!

I have learned in this area that contractors do not like to return calls or even show up for jobs. The guys from JDM not only answered my call, they showed up for an estimate and a week later they completed the job. In addition they were very profession and they worked around problems they discovered without charging me additional. I could not recommend these guys more.

Our hot tub stopped working over Memorial Day weekend. We called several electricians and hot tub companies, and Jason from JDM Electric was the first and most responsive one to get back to us. Even though he was on vacation that weekend, he returned my call and followed up again a few days later, when he returned. I was thoroughly impressed with his responsiveness, and he was able to schedule time right within 24 hours to come out and take a look. He discovered the problem - a blown fuse - and was able to drive out to Lowe's to pick up the replacement fuse we needed, and got the hot tub back in working order before he left. He was helpful and communicative the whole time, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. We'll definitely call Jason again if we have electrical needs in the future. As a note, I selected the "Pool and Spa Repair" category for this review as well, even though that's not his primary business. He might not be able to help with all your hot tub needs, but if it's an electrical issue, he's your guy!

Jason is awesome. He was able to schedule me in quickly and performed a great job at a reasonable price. He is honest and trustworthy and does not push for work you may not need to be done. I have used his services before as well and have been happy with his professionalism, timeliness, and value.

My wife and I were looking fo an electrician for a long time to replace a pull chain light in a room we're getting ready for a child we will be adopting. After asking all our friends (including one who is a landlord for multiple properties) no one had an answer, they all said they didn't know of a good electrician in Wilkes Barre. Well, they were wrong! Using Angie's List, we found JDM electric and let me tell you, it was a literal pleasure to work with them! Not only did they promptly return our call, they set up a date to come out and give us an estimate. Even a few days before hand, when they knew they may be a little late, they called to tell us, and not just left us hanging... that is one sure sign of customer centric focus! When they came out to do the work, they arrived on time, were very pleasant and I was shocked at how fast they got the job done! When I checked out the room with them, unlike other contractors I have used in the past, the work looked perfect, so much so I would have never even known that all the fixtures were new. (no paint scrapes, no smudges or scratches.) The best part of all is, they came in EXACTLY at the estimate of 225$. I honestly thought that all the work that needed to be done would cost double that. I'm extremely pleased at the work that they did. So much so, I'll be making another appointment to have work done in my bedroom for more outlets. No joke, if you have electrical work to be done, call JDM Electric.

This is the third time I have used JDM Electric and I am very pleased with the work they do. Jason who runs the business and Mark who helps him are both very pleasant people and they are quite helpful and professional. They are very prompt, showing up precisely when promised. On his last visit (taking care of some electrical outlets that were not functioning), Jason checked out my system and noticed that the service entrance cable was in very bad shape. Upon further investigation, he discovered that there was no grounding for the house or the water pipes either. I was appalled that this was the case and am very glad Jason discovered these problems and took care of them before anything bad happened. The light that Mark installed outside my house (after drilling through the basement wall and siding) looks great. He did a beautiful job. I intend to use JDM Electric for all my electrical work and recommend it very highly to others.

After attempting to have work done by several other electricians who failed to contact us or gave incomplete estimates we found Jason on Angie's List and he was a breath of fresh air. He called us right back and came out to look at out home within two days. He had a full estimate done shortly after that and scheduled the work almost immediately. He scheduled the work so we did not have to take time off from work. He and his crew showed up right on time, went to work immediately and completed the entire job efficiently and professionally. After the job was complete he went room to room to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction and was working properly. What a difference the completed job made on the house. Jason was professional, courteous, competent and responsive. We will definitely call Jason for any future needs and would highly recommend him to others.
