Description of Work: Bernie crafted (invented) gizmos for me to hang my garland and lights from the edge of my new concrete pad. The gizmos are fabulous and my decorations were beautiful. What a creative guy. I will continue to use these gizmos to hang lanterns and seasonal decorations all year long. I have also hired Bernie to install aluminum railings on the front and back porch this upcoming spring. Bernie Swick and crew are top notch!

+ -1 moreSwick was recommended to me by a company that performed some other work for me. I called them to come out for a quote. They indicated they would send someone soon, but I never heard from them again. Heck of a way to get business, eh?

+ -1 moreTHIS IS A FATHER AND SON OPERATION (BOTH ARE NAMED BERNIE) WITH A FEW OTHER EMPLOYEES. I HAD TWO OTHER ESTIMATES. ONE WAS NOT CUSTOM WORK AND WAS OVER $2,000. THE OTHER COMPANY WANTED TO DO THE RAILING THEIR WAY, AND CHARGE A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT TO SHIP THE RAILING OUT TO BE POWDER COATED. ALTHOUGH SWICK ALSO HAD TO SHIP THE RAILINGS OUT FOR POWDER COATING, THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. SON BERNIE SAYS HIS GOAL IS TO GIVE HIS BEST PRICE UP FRONT, AS HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN NEGOTIATING. THEY WERE REALLY BUSY THIS YEAR, SO I DID HAVE TO WAIT LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. WE'VE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON THE RAILING AND THE TWO BERNIES ARE FRIENDLY AND DOWN TO EARTH TO WORK WITH.
