Well, as you can obviously tell already, Joel does great work or I wouldn't have had him back so many times! The drywall work on the ceilings in the living room and dining room came out great. Plastic was hung so the dust wouldn't spread through my entire (carpeted) house. I wasn't sure it would work, but it did. Joel did everything from moving my furniture for me to running the sweeper when he was finished. I don't think I would have left my own house that clean, lol! The ceilings themselves are flawless and look original, I was worried they would look "remodeled" in an older home and I didn't want that. And that is why Joel was brought back to do the drywall work in the bedroom. I have to admit, this was a mess. I didn't want to approach fixing this myself. Joel did a great job, and he did it fast. I was under a bit of time constraint because I had carpet coming. (The paint on the walls was still a bit wet when the carpet showed up!) I'm still amazed that you can't tell that room used to be two rooms. The shed worked out just exactly like I was hoping it would. I bought it one day and within a few days I was using it. Simple and easy. He did a wonderful job on this too. Again, I couldn't believe how fast he had it done once I saw how much work was actually involved in it. I would recommend Joel and his work to anyone. He's the only contractor I call anymore, having been through a few others. If it's a type of job he doesn't do then I ask him to recommend someone. I'd be surprised to see him have any bad ratings on here.
Description of Work: Joel has done many jobs for me and that is the reason why I cannot list a price. He has done drywall work (two ceilings, merged two rooms into one), built a shed for me (which included pouring the concrete base). The two ceilings were 9' high, one was my living room, the other was my dining room. These were done at the same time. They were plaster and were cracked, one had old water damage. The merging of two rooms into one was drywall work on both the ceiling and walls, this was done in a bedroom. I had done the demo, tearing out a wall to make a bedroom bigger. What was left was a "whole" in the plaster, down to the lathe, a little wider than the wall was (about a foot wide). This ran up the wall and across the whole length of the ceiling. The shed was a 9'x12' pre-fab metal shed that I had purchased and didn't really want to put together myself. I wanted it to have a sturdy concrete floor, but I didn't want to have to deal with all the mess. I just wanted to buy the shed, and go out the next day and use it!
