Description of Work: They tried a bait & switch, which is illegal in Pennsylvania. I paid for the service, but they told me that in order to do my job, it would take different equipment which, of course, would be more money. I declined. I did inform Angie's list of this illegal practice, but the same offer showed up in my email 2 days later, and as far as I know, is still being offered. I am disappointed in the way this company does business, and more importantly, I'm extremely disappointed in Angie's list for putting their own profits from 'suggesting' contractors, over protecting customers from illegal activities.

Description of Work: It took a little while to get back to me but I guess they had a large response.the technician was excellent. He answered all my questions. The garage door hums now when I open it. I asked about the tune up. I thought it was a tune up like a car. He told me most customers thought the same thing but it is just looking over the equipment to make sure it's working properly. Angie's List, please change the description so we understand exactly what the deal is.

Description of Work: It turned out the door was too old to repair. It required a different type of rollers, etc. I had a estimate done for a new door which is reasonable. I have discovered some other issues in the garage that need to be repaired before the door is done because they may effect the door.

Description of Work: It took over 8 weeks for them to come and repair my door. It required me to call them 3 times to get an appt. They did make an appt once... they at 4:30pm the day before to tell me they would be there the next day but not a day that I had told them was an option versus my work schedule. Then it required my calling, speaking to Andy who makes the schedule and then waiting again until the end of the day to find out when they would be coming the next day. The technician who came was efficient. Door is now repaired but very unlikely that I will use this company again.
