They are thieves and liars. I put $2000 deposit to have a pool installed for 2023 season in October 2021. I was told by Mike that if I cancelled I could receive a store credit which I was ok with. February 2022 I needed to cancel. I asked for a store credit but was told they have a no refund policy. They never said that to me when I gave them my $2000. I cancelled in plenty of time that they did not lose any money. They stole my money and provided me with absolutely no service

Improper liner installation which resulted in U.S. Having to purchase another liner and pay someone else to install it only 2 yrs later

I didn't know anything about pools or the process of putting in an in-ground pool but Mike at American pools was very helpful. He met with me and reviewed everything from A-Z about the install process to maintenance of the pool. As the process started, I had MANY questions and he always responded quickly via phone or e-mail. His install crew worked very hard and long hours to ensure the pool was installed correctly and on-time. His install crew was also very polite and knoweldgable as they answered many of my questions as well.All in all, I am very happy with the in-ground pool and the completed project. I've already had a few people ask me who did my pool. The entire process took about 5 weeks and my family and I are thrilled with the outcome! Thanks Mike!

We purchased a pool from them. We spoke with the son of the owner, and he knew exactly what he was talking about; very knowledgeable. But later on, on talking with the owner, about whether to cover up the pool or not, he flat-out shouted at me in front of the entire store; my 8 year old daughter was with me.

They were very knowledgeable, we are throwing questions out not knowing what we wanted to get in terms of different types of pools. They helped us to kinda make a decision they are willing to answer questions very well, all the staffs, it doesn't matter what age they are, they all very knowledgeable. I think that their prices are very competitive and I think they have best price around.

Selecting and ordering the liner was simple. I was in and out of the store in 20 minutes. In about a weeks time, my pool was measured and the liner factory started making the liner. I was contacted again by American Pools who let me know the approximate arrival date of the liner, and I was told that the installation crew would contact me to schedule the installation. A few weeks passed and the liner arrived at my home, but the installation crew had not called. I contacted American Pools to schedule the installation, and was told that the installation crew would call me. A week had passed and no one had called. I called again two more times over the next few days, and finally after 4 or 5 days, they called to set up the appointment. They explained that they had a very busy schedule and were not able to set up an appointment for me, but then they proceeded to tell me that they could come the following day to install the liner. They arrived the next day and got to work. When they removed the old liner they informed me that I needed new vermiculite under my liner, and that it would cost me almost as much as the quoted installation price. I understood completely why I needed the vermiculite, but this is something that American Pools should warn people about up front before they make a purchase. The liner plus installation was already a few thousand dollars, and then the vermiculite added alot more to that total. The installation crew worked long hours to get the job done, and did excellent work. Despite a few hiccups in the process, the overall experience was very good.

Still trying to find an installer and pool is paid for and still sitting in the box at American waiting for us to pick up.
