Done in one day I was pleased

They did a beayutiful job. They also cleaned up after every day that they were at our house. Very pleasant to deal with.

When we were dealing with Justin from EZ Garage Doors, we had asked him if their company did any window work. He stated that there was another part of the company called EZ Home Exteriors which handled the windows. He took the measurements and gave them to that division. We received a bid through the mail. We had previously tried other companies but they didn't want to be bothered with only one window. The price was right and we called to schedule installation. Shortly after that, Kurt called to come over to take measurements and stated that it would be a few weeks for installation which was fine for us. Kurt called to let us know that he would be putting the window in on 9/12/2011 between 9 & 10 am. That was sooner than we expected. He arrived on time and he & his assistant, John, promptly started to work. They were both courteous and professional. They worked very quickly and it took only 1 hour to tear out the old window and install the new window and trim. Kurt had me check the window and made sure that I was satisified with the job that they had done. They quickly cleaned up the work site. They did a fantastic job and left the work site immaculate. I'm keeping their name and number for future jobs and would highly recommend them.

We noticed changes on our roof after a severe storm. He came to our home at my convenience. An inspection was made of our roof. He determined that no repairs were needed. He was polite, respectful and professional.

The quote was for $4000. We decided to go with them because of their price. They were professional and on time.

I come from a family of carpenters so I am very familiar with housing construction. First let me say i really enjoyed working with EZ Home Exteriors. I found EZ thru Angie's List by accident. Brien Murphy, the owner, was very patient, cooperative, and helpful thru the whole process. EZ uses "dedicated subcontractors" to perform the work they contract. This seems to be the norm now days with a lot of companies. The only problems I had was: the lengthy delay in the start of the work due to a problem with workman comp insurance coverage by the preferred sub and the wrong size shutters were initially ordered but were quickly resolved Our home is a 50 year old 2 story that had the original aluminum siding that was beginning to fall of, old gutters of the wrong color, rotten fascia and rake boards, soffit of the wrong style and color, rot in some structural wall members around a leaking window, and an asphalt shingled roof and decking that were bad. Brien produced a free detailed quote, one for the roof and one for the siding. I requested that some different and specific products that I liked be used on the job (at some additional cost), which Brien had no problem in using. Additionally, I requested that both phases of the job be done by the same crew concurrently. Although this isn't the normal way EZ works, he again was very accommodating and assured me he had a crew that was qualified to perform both phases of the work. Finally, I was not comfortable with the contracts "standard terms and conditions" so I submitted some additions to protect me, which Brien was agreeable to accept. The crew lead was Tom Hersick, a quite man of few words to say the least. The job took 3 days. His start was delayed a couple of days by rain but they promised to start as soon as the weather permitted. True to their word at 7am on a Saturday morning they arrived and started the work. EZ had pre-delivered the materials a few days earlier so that everything was available when the crew arrived. This crew was very hard working and courteous. They approached the work methodically, cleaned up as they worked and at the end of each day. it was clear to me they new what they were doing! They took care and protected the rest of the property and landscaping from any damage. All the work except for the gutter fabrication was done by Tom's crew. Another sub specializing in gutters, manufactured them onsite and Tom's crew installed them. I'm not sure if this normally how they are installed. We were completely satisfied with all the work done by EZ Home and Tom's crew and would definitely recommend them to others. Since completion, several of the neighbors have had very flattering comments on the homes appearance. Nice to know all that money produced some curb appeal.

Job went extremenly well. The roofing crew was on time with all the supplies and equipment required. They were done in one day. At the end of the job the forman informed me that the office would bill me. I gave him a check anyway.

WONDERFUL!!! They are extremely professional. The detail work they did was excellent. They also had to do some stone cutting around our front entrance to fit the door, which my husband and I were leery about, but they did an EXCELLENT job and our home entrance looks great! I highly recommend them. We are going to use them again next summer to install new sliding glass doors that open to our deck.

Excellent. From the bidding process to scheduling and seeing the work through.

He gave me a very detailed proposal for each thing. I was a little surprised at the detail because actually I told him that I was just a scout. My husband and I had to talk it over. The information was very detailed. They were very nice. There was one guy and I think he’s the owner of the company. He was very nice and I liked him. The thing that I didn’t like was, I told him that I wanted to know the basic stuff and he gave me a whole job script. It was like the whole job was set. He had written it all up and he came over and showed me these things. He came over the same day with all these details and I liked that he was trying to impress me to show how quick he was. I don’t like it when people stop by without calling first and that really didn’t make me happy. I was surprised when he came knocking on the door because he said he was going to do it online. First I thought it was him but then I got to know it was his brother-in-law. I didn’t really like it. He was assessing mostly how easy and beneficial it is going to be for him which I didn’t like. He was just looking at the job in terms of finishing it quickly. He was responsive and punctual. I could trust the quality of work that he would have done. He also sub contracts his work out because he doesn’t have a team of people working for him. I would use his services again in the future.

My parents had also used them. I am real happy with them. They subcontract out but the owner really takes pride in the work that his crews do. They knew I had a tight schedule because I am flipping a house. It was important that it was done fast so they made it a priority to get their guys out there and get it done. They are nice and do good work at a reasonable price. The subcontractors might not be perfect but Brian, one of the owners, took care of me to make sure that they got it right.

They do excellent work with doors and screen doors. They subcontract out their vinyl work and that caused some trouble. I also had awnings put up and that was a problem, but the siding and shutters look really nice.

It went great from initial estimate to clean-up. I had estimates from 2 or 3 other companies, E Z beat all of them by at least 10%, plus I just got a better vibe from them. Quality work, would definitely recommend and use again.

Obtaining an estimated price was easy and straightforward. The servies was performded promptyle after the signing of a written contract. The replacement of the roof was concluded within the number of estimated days.

They did not finish the quote. I had called them back and asked about box gutters. They never got back with me regarding their prices for that service. It looked like they had quality products. They were very personable. But I feel like they did not follow up. They did show up to give me an estimate.

We were very pleased from start to finish. The sales man was very professional and responsive. The installation crew was professional, courteous, and took pride in their work; they did quality work. A few minor items were promptly corrected. The only less than perfectly happy item was some damage to shubrery. Signed, A very satisfied customer

GREAT experience. Brian Murphy did a wonderful job explaining the job and how he would approach it. Their bid was not the lowest overall bid, but was very competitive. They were ultimately selected based on the competitiveness of their bid, the thoroughness of their reveiw of the job, and their commitment to finishing the job quickly. While some contractors estimated it at a 4-5 day job, Brian committed to finishing it in two days, and ultimately exceeded that commitment due to the size of his crew and their hard work. The crew arrived very early on day 1 and immediately got to work. They quickly removed the old roof and began replacing the plywood. They then moved on to the new roofing installation. Our roof has two different elevations / sections, and they fully completed the first section before starting on the second section, meaning that we had no areas that were exposed for any unnecessary period of time. By the end of the first day, they had completed the first section (75% of the overall job) and completely cleaned up before leaving. You couldn't even tell they'd been there. They arrived early on day 2 and got the remaining section completed by 11AM. Again, clean up was perfect!

I was satisfied with their service. The price was reasonable and I would recommend them to others.

They were great. I really liked the worker that came and did the initial bid. The workers that installed the windows were pleasant and very good. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The windows are great.

They were a pleasure to work with. The negotiations were upfront and clear; the work was done efficiently and effectively. The installers were very professional, courteous and tidy. We couldn't be happier with the results! We will definitely be using them again - next time for roof replacement.

Brien Murphy was the sales rep for the job although I mostly dealt with Mary Gay Grandi in their office. Brien performed the estimate and provided me with a Precision Entry System brochure for their fiberglass and steel door systems. They outsource the work to Bill Pope for installation. Bill was very professional and competent. He did the install in two days. It took several weeks for the doors to come in as they manufacture each door upon order. The doors are fantastic! Bill arrived on time and worked all day without lunch to get the door installed in cold weather. They don't offer any discounts and work closely with the customer.
