Description of Work: Chris and his crew do all kinds of work -- from electrical to plumbing to carpentry to masonry. You name it, they do it. I also call Chris when I have a list of honey-do tasks; he is amazing, always so competent and professional. The last time I called him was to install water heaters that we had purchased at Lowe's (we have a duplex); his cost to install was considerably less than what Lowe's wanted to charge.

Description of Work: I have used Chris Jackson contracting for over 10 years. He and his crew has a have always been reliable, professional, and high-quality. The current project involved painting several rooms, crown molding, moving furniture, and smaller household repairs. I'm very happy with the work that was done. It was also done in a timely manner.

Description of Work: We have used Chris`s services many times in the past. We contacted him urgently two weeks ago when we realized we had a lot of work to be done on our house to pass Wilkins Twnsp inspection. He knew just what to do and completed all of the work in one week!

Description of Work: Chris installed 2 shower curtain rods and1 tp holder. He installed a mail slot in my wooden door, drilled a peep hole and hung the numbers.

Description of Work: Knowledgeable, punctual, fastidious -- Chris and his workmen do professional, excellent work. I call Chris whenever I have a project or "honey-do" task. He is great!

Description of Work: "Chris Jackson was not present through the very expensive bathroom renovation that he was hired to perform in my home. The work is very sloppy and some of it is even done incorrectly. Unfortunately, we asked Chris to not return due to some very upsetting findings. Many items, such as light fixtures, toilet, towel bars, faucets and countertop were taken from my home when they were removed for the renovation and at no time did anyone ask if these items were permitted to be taken. Chris was very insistent that the work in which his employees had done was satisfactory. I now have a bathroom that is unfinished with two very expensive recessed medicine cabinet/mirrors that are not able be used, due to the whole wall being custom tiled. None of the boxes were checked to see what kind of bathroom fixtures they were working with. This ordeal has been a very exhausting endeavor for myself and my family. While much of the blame has been placed on the company in which I ordered my bathroom items, this is very untrue! I wish that I had known more about this Chris Jackson's business beforehand, in order to avoid a very expensive lesson. I am uncertain if Chris Jackson Contracting is capable, or has ever done a bathroom of this magnitude. I will now be forced to find another contractor to finish the job correctly, which will be an extra expense. Some of the things that were done incorrectly cannot be corrected and I will have to just settle for what has been done. Description of Work: Set up a keyboard, hung a few pictures, tore down and removed many boxes, |put up hook for a hanging plant, moved bags and boxes with items for donation. They were in a hurry. The things done were less than had originally been estimated. He should have reduced the price accordingly, because it took much less time than expected. However, the wok was done well.

Description of Work: At first I thought the quote he prepared was high, but I needed the job done before Christmas. Mr. Jackson came along with a crew of 5 or 6 men. The men spent 8 hours working on the project. Surprisingly they finished the job by the end of the day. The men were polite and friendly. The work they did was excellent. I have nothing but praise for them. In the end the quote I was given was very fair. I would definitely hire Mr. Jackson again for my next project.

Description of Work: Handyman Services: installed new lock on my screen, fixed shingles on my porch, repaired my siding, and cleaned out my gutters

Description of Work: While repairing damage from frozen pipes, I decided that I would hire Chris Jackson Construction to repair a shower that I couldn't use. The project also involved installing a bathroom exhaust and repairing the dormer. Chris and crew was punctual and began the project on time. They were very professional explaining every job they completed. While installing the exhaust, the electrician found an ongoing issue with the lights in the attic. After consulting with Chris, the lights was repaired and the cost was very reasonable. I purchased some pricey glass tile and was very anxious about the installation. So much so that I almost made a huge mistake and was going to hire someone else to install the tile. Despite my anxiety, Chris and crew stuck with me took their time and did a stellar job. Everything turned out beautifully and I appreciated all that was done.

Description of Work: we contacted the vendor (Chris) providing contact times and a phone number for an estimate as requested and adding additional work items to fill out time for a half day of work, never heard back from him.
