He did a fine job. He goes with the flow. It was labor intensive so it was a bit more expensive, overall it was good work.

I was amazed; he showed up on time, worked on the windows from the outside, also did some grouting on the fireplace in my living room, and I had only asked him to grout the cracks on the floor and he took the whole thing on, and did an excellent job on all of it. Very pleasant, and would call when he was on his way and how long it would take to get here. All in all a very good experience.

Chris is easy to get in touch with. He almost always answers the phone--no telephone tag. If you leave a message, he returns the calls promptly. The work was done as promised and looked professional. He also cleaned the shower which looked very shiny, despite the poor condition it had been in. When we called him to confirm, he did forget he had made the appointment to do the work, but he attributed this to his changing organizers and was apologetic. But he showed up as originally planned and did the work. We had discussed the job quite a while before he did the work, because we did not make our decision until after he had gone on vacation. But he was upfront about not being available during that time. However, because of the time in between, he had forgotten which door we wanted fixed, so fixed the wrong door, but agreed to come back and fix the correct one. He was personable and professional. I thought the price was a little on the high side, but he did a good job.

The job turned out great and looks great. Chris was very prompt and professional. He went over the operation of the unit and even went over some other items for us at no charge.

Chris and his people were great to work with. We always know when they were going to be here and Chris stayed in close contact during the job. His staff was quite professional and they always left a clean site at the end of the workday. Chris responded to a couple of emergencies that came up during the time span of the job. He went out of his way to make time for us. He also did several little extras to make our home nicer at no charge. Chris has earned our trust. We will have him back. Our 77-year-old house is always needing something done and Chris will be who we call first for most things.

Chris responded promptly to our request for an estimate, which turned out to be quite accurate. They arrived on time on the work day, then showed me the extent of the problem once the wall was opened. At the end of the job, the area was completely cleaned. You can't tell that there was ever a problem. We are very happy with the work.

Chris and his assistant were on time, worked very hard, and were polite to me and my dog. Chris seemed very knowledgeable about older houses and understood my budget constraints. I appreciated Chris' efforts to finish the job in two days (he stayed overtime), his attention to detail, and wanting to make sure I was satisfied with his work. He was nice enough to fix my vacuum cleaner for free. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I plan on having Chris update my kitchen.

VERY satisfied -- came the same day, did a quick fix (what we needed) and offered to come back again for a bigger clean/assessment.

Chris was easy to work with. He was on time for both the estimate appointment and the day the work was performed. Found him to be a straight-talker who completed the work satisfactorily, on time. Cleaned up before leaving. We have already recommended him to friends.

Chris Jackson provides very good service. He was quick to respond to my original phone call. Set a date and time to come to the house and provide an estimate. He was clear about the work he was going to do and what it would cost. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and stayed on the job to complete the work within the time frame he had specified. He and his crew were easy to talk to, provided explanations when I had questions, and checked to be sure that I was satisfied with the work they were doing.

I was impressed with Mr. Jackson's prompt response and courteousness. He did very good work and he was very helpful with making suggestions to help us solve our multiple house repair problems.

Chris had suggested this work when giving me an estimate on other work and I agreed to it because it had not been done before. He did a very though job.

I was very pleased. He did the repairs and instillation while I was out of the home.

He does all kinds of things. Cleaned off and stained my outdoor furniture and worked on metal patio furniture. He calls before hand. He gives you an estimate first. He's not super cheap, but you get what you pay for.

On the whole, I am very pleased with my experience with Chris Jackson. He and Danny, his helper, were both very polite and thoughtful. They called ahead, installed the disposal, cleaned up after themselves, and looked at a few other jobs I had and offered quotes. I have no way to judge his pricing, so I have refrained from doing so, but did not feel like I paid more than I was willing to.

Please see previous notes in the Handymen Section for the other jobs performed for the above price. Chris and Danny replaced a ceiling fan and the new one looks GREAT. Danny is an excellent assistant to Chris. Both are VERY professional with an extreme clean workmmanship to all jobs! Also provided great detail to problem solving regarding the other ceiling fan. THANKS GUYS!!!

Chris and Danny went WELL above the call of duty! The pop up replacement and tub leak were more difficult than anticipated with much more labor also and they rose to the occasion. Chris also had to replace a part for the tub and traveled to get it and made the pop in the sink conform to our particular sink. They also performed EXTRA items not asked. Such as, cleaning the sink trap/drain and the aerator, and providing us tips for our screen door and porch! We received MUCH more than the price given and we APRECIATE them BOTH!

Chris was great! He was planning to be in our area the day after he came to offer estimates and offered to fix the basement step virtually immediately, as it was very unsafe. We were thrilled that he was able to fix it fast. His bids on each project came in lower or the same as 2-3 other handymen we consulted.

Chris was friendly, professional, and his work was reasonably priced. He and his team did a good job cleaning and staining my deck. I also appreciated that when I noticed some areas that I felt needed more stain, Chris made sure to address my concerns.

Chris was very professional from start to finish. He called a day ahead to confirm, called the day of, was on time, respected our home (cleanliness), and was overall a nice guy (his two partners were also)! Initially, his price was a little higher than we expected, but for the quality and promptness of the job, IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! He gave us a range and stayed within that. We are very happy with the turn out of the job!

Job 1: Chris called the day before to confirm. He arrived on time & began work. They were tidy, polite, careful of my furnishings, & flexible when the unexpected occurred. Chris noticed a leak in a shower diverter that I hadn't asked him to repair because I d been told by 2 plumbers that the fixture was too old to find parts for. Chris made one call & located the parts. On his lunch break, he drove to the supplier to pick them up. By the time he left my house, a year-old leak was gone. The many jobs that he did were completed efficiently & properly. My ''A'' rating for his pricing below doesn t mean he s inexpensive; it means that it s fair for the quality of work. Job 2: He & his men took on a variety of tasks, each with their special requirements, & did not disappoint. This man is a thinker. Hire him. He shows up, he adapts, he is careful about your posies & your lawn, he is a pro & if you want, he'll teach you stuff.

Chris was great. I can't say enough about how easy and non-stressful the experience was. He was very responsive and flexible during the first phone call, and then I called to arrange a specific time on the day of. He originally came out just for the flooring, which took hardly any time at all but was more than happy to install the shelves since he was already there. I will definitely call him first if/when I have more household jobs to complete.

Chris and Tony are amazing. The walls in my older home now look brand new. They were perfectly smooth with all cracks and bumps repaired. The brushwork is excellent, and they do a great cleanup mob. There were no drips or damage. Chris and his crew are careful, professional, friendly, and nice to do business with.
