We had called Chris Jackson about some jobs we had needed done around our house for a long time. He returned our call promptly, arrived when he said he would, and analyzed and discussed the several jobs with us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and creative and efficient. One solution involved getting parts for an attic stairs assembly from the manufacturer (phone number from the web) which he talked to on the phone, and I was able to order and charge the parts needed on the spot. Chris found effective solutions that we could afford, and has completed the first of several jobs. We are pleased with the work and the workmanship. He left the work area very clean. The company installing the washer was having a problem. I called Chris and he came out at a moments notice. He had the problem fixed right away and I also asked him to fix our toilet in the basement. He also charged to have the price to fix the toilet compared to another plumbing company. He is very responsive.

Chris showed up on time for his estimate & gave us the rundown on what it would take to replace the support beam. He called two days later as promised with two quotes and what that entailed. He then set the time up that was convenient for us to do the work. He showed up with a professional crew. We have two large German shepherds & we put them in their room to stay out of the crews way. Chris insisted we let them out and that they would be just fine. The dogs had a great day with the crew! He gave us a written report of the work done & left the house cleaner than it was when he and his crew started! I would without hesitation recommend Chris to anyone looking to have work done around the house. I actually gave our Realtor his name & highly recommended him. Thank you Chris and to your crew!

Excellent! Chris fixed all those items in great time and at a reasonable price. We always feel that we get great value for our money spent! He also gave us information regarding plumbing and pointing issues. There is no question that cannot be asked or answered with Chris! He is very valuable to our family.

Chris and his crew (Tony, Barry and Zach) were always on time, worked diligently, and remained professional the entire time (no cursing or loud obnoxious language). They frequently asked for clarification on aspects of the job to make sure it was done to our specifications, and did not mind if we watched or asked questions. Our only small complaint was that some furniture was not covered well enough in one room and the dust level was very high so cleaning it up was difficult. Had I thought to say something earlier in the process it likely would not have been so bad. Otherwise, they were fairly neat and cleaned up each afternoon before they left.

They're always prompt, very friendly, and knowledgeable in a variety of areas. Do not remember cost.

Fabulous service. I called on a Thursday afternoon needing a door fixed. He said he'd try to come the next day and promised he'd come Saturday if that didn't work out. He called Friday morning and said he'd be there around 3 pm -- and sure enough, shortly before 3, there he was. He was pleasant, got the job done, and leveled the stove while he was there. I will definitely call him again.

Chris returned my call promptly and arrived on time for his estimate. When he was at our house, he tightened a door knob screw gratis. For the smaller job of putting on cabinet handles he was able to come the following week some afternoon when he finished another job early. For the bigger job of installing the door, we had to wait a month, but it was well worth the wait. He did a great job and was well worth the money. He also, has a memorable personality that made him fun to work with.

Excellent, very little left undone. Contractor leaves you with certainty that anything missed will be done. Work is excellent, contractor keeps in touch, is easy to reach, and makes contact to double check if there needs to be any changes in the plan due to the unexpected. Best contractor with whom I have ever worked...highly reocommended.

I called Chris about 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Chris answered the phone promptly. When told the problem, he told me he would call back in 15 minutes after reviewing his schedule He called as promised. He was booked on Monday, but told me he would come over as soon as he was done working at his current site. He arrived about 20 minutes later, and was done and gone by 5:30. He was absolutely wonderful. He was thorough, prompt, professional and caring enough to come over here on short notice so that the contents of my refrigerator could be saved. I would gladly pay the emergency service fee anytime for this type of service!

Chris didn't take any measurements during the inspection and yet his estimate was right on. He is really booked, so plan on getting the estimate months before you want the work done, but it's worth it for the GREAT QUALITY. He allowed us pick out and purchase all our own supplies from Lowe's, (Vanity, tiles, fixtures, etc.) While this was a lot more work than we bargained for, it saved us thousands relative to other estimates. His employees were skilled, polite, and professional, they even worked late to finish before Thanksgiving. My only complaint is his handwritting, both the estimate and final sale order are un-readable.

Chris showed up when he said he would. On the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Did a good job and cleaned up after himself. There was a minor wrinkle because the glass had been cut to the wrong size. So he had to go back to the glass store to have a new pane cut. That was the store's fault, not his.

Very nicely as usual. Chris was able to do the work while I was at work. I only had to meet him for the estimate which was conveniently scheduled in the evening.

Chris was great. He actually talked me down from a much larger repair I already had in mind. He and his guy (Tony?) did a bang up job, leaving us with doors that close completely and easily, a repaired and repainted door frame and a threshold that looks nice and is safe. Chris is not inexpensive, but he does the right job right the first time, and I'm willing to pay for that, especially since we've had so many bad experiences with service providers since we moved here and before joining Angie's List.

This took 5 minutes. I think the price was too much and I don't like how he did business. He didn't clean up after himself. He was suppose to be here at noon and he was late, I had to call him a second time. He was young and not very professional.

It went very well. When I called he gave me a date and time to come over, review work and give estimate. Well organized. Arrived promptly on appointed day, was clearly highly competent in all areas, and made useful suggestions. Was very professional and pleasant. Worked efficiently all day. I would definitely want to get him back for future jobs.

I called him and he responded quickly. The work was done satisfactorily. Few contractors are willing to do work in a rental duplex. He has done two jobs since then in a timely manner.

Chris is an excellent communicator. He showed up on time and called to remind me of the appointment.

He did pretty well. I wanted the downstairs cleaned better, but I did not tell him exactly what I wanted.

I've been using Chris for years. Every once in awhile I decide he's getting a little pricey. But as soon as I think that, he puts in five hours like today (two people) and when he leaves, everything in the house is done. He seems to know how to do everything. He's pleasant to have around, as is Tony. And they're extremely careful not to let my dog outside. This price was certainly not too high!

Chris picked up my custom front door and the interior molding required for the job from Lowes since we didn't have the means to do so. He arrived early and worked all day to finish the job. Installing a new door in a hundred-year-old house is not easy, which is why we had Chris do it instead of attempting it ourselves. Chris is always extremely prompt, and friendly. He does excellent work and is the only contractor who works on my home.
