They did a very good job. There have been no problems since they came.

Okay, but result not as good as we would have liked. First coat of stain was rolled on (even though instructions on can clearly indicated it was to be brushed on) and results were not good (unsuccessfully tried to upload photos.) They then applied (again rolling) a second coat within a couple of hours and before the first coat had dried. This left a sort of "thick coat of sticky stain" not brushed into the wood -- kind of just "laying there" on top of the wood rather than brushed in. Chris acknowledged that work was sub-standard, and returned to lightly surface sand and re-stain the deck. Final project was about a good as could be expected given that the first coating was not completely removed. When we had more time and energy, we had stained the deck ourselves, and the results were better than that done by "the pros"...... but we did brush the product on, followed directions, etc.

He cleaned the gutters and cleaned out a completely clogged downspout. We have never been able to clean our gutters remotely well since they are in such hard to reach places. We are thrilled that we used his services. I also referred a friend. Although Chris does not replace roofs, he took the time to call to ask if we knew that we needed a new roof. We knew, but were putting it off for another year. Based on his call and unbiased review of the roof, we have hired a roofer (from Angie's List) and the work should be started within the next six weeks. Thrilled with Chris Jackson!!

We are very comfortable having him in my home. He is very good at his job and is always on time. I would highly recommend him and use him again in the future.

Chris and crew arrived on the job and got straight to work. They made sure to put tarps down everywhere and were sure to clean up after themselves. Chris also takes most (if not all) of the trash created from the work with him. Chris brought 2 men with him on the job and all three were able to get the new fan/vent installed (required electrical work, new lines, etc.), the 2 motion detectors (needed to move around existing power lines) and scraped and mudded the ceilings in preparation for us to paint them (light sanding and then primer and paint). The experience was great as always. We've used Chris once before and he did such a great job that we knew we could use him for these jobs too. Chris can really do almost any home repair work and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of home repairs. His prices are fair and reasonable.

Fine, and as planned. Work took roughly 1.5 days. Original plan had been to remove original door and install dry wall and paneling in its place; this was changed before the work began. Original plan had been that home owner would have done finish painting; contractor did finish work in lieu of wall reconstruction, resulting in roughly the same amount of time spent on the job.

I had already had Chris out to clean my gutters. He found and repaired some problems that previous plumbers had missed. And while Chris was at the property to work on my neighbors problems he took the time to check out my air conditioner for me. I very happy with his work and friendly personality.

It was a great experience and I was very impressed. Chris Jackson was always very careful to return calls and was always where and when he said he'd be. The guys he had working for him were very pleasant and helpful, and they went beyond what we expected. For instance, one door had a number of hard-to-remove decals and stickers plastered all over it. When we arrived to inspect the final paint job we were pleased to see that the workers had take it upon themselves to remove all that, which we hadn't asked or expected. They were very careful in the painting, removing all finishings beforehand to be sure not to paint over them.

I was very pleased with him. He was very flexible when figuring out what had to be done. He was able to diagnose what we needed. He also was much cheaper than the electrician that I had hired earlier to fix the fan.

He was professional and on time. He was respectful and had integrity. I talked to him a lot. He wants to be very honest and listened to what we wanted.

Call Chris and made an appointment. Chris called before he came was on time. Called me at work to tell me about the clog and also my duplex neighbors gutter problems. He talked to them and is returning in 2 weeks to take care of their gutters which was causing mine to overflow.

He was professional and on time. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Everything was fixed properly and accurately. He didn't try and sell us something we didn't need.

The project went well overall. He called the week before his scheduled date to inform us that he was running behind schedule by several days and we set a new date. He arrived on the rescheduled date and completed all of the work and cleaned up.

Chris arrived promptly at the scheduled time for the estimate and the work itself. He communicated appropriately when a slight delay was necessary and was flexible about coming at a time that would fit my schedule. He brought two pleasant, hardworking assistants who got right to the work and finished more quickly than anticipated. I had thought that one and possibly two of the doors would need to be replaced, and I appreciate that he saved us money by repairing them instead. Thanks to his excellent service, Chris has become a very busy man, so it took about two weeks for him to come out and give me an estimate, and another two before the work could be done.

Chris was superb. He arrived on time, and incredibly efficient. He was very professional and did outstanding work. After the installation, he tested everything, told me what to look out for in the future to signal the need for repairs, and to top it all off, he took a few extra minutes to give and estimate on garage repair and taught me how to repair a leaky faucet! I honestly couldn't have been happier with the work he did. The washer is terrific, we haven't had any problems since the installation (almost a year ago!)

Overall, everything was done in a timely and professional manner.

Chris was timely in his first visit to make an estimate and made it quickly. Made an appointment a couple of weeks out and called three days before to confirm it. Was on time and repaired a water-damaged plaster ceiling, rehung some heavy sliding doors and repaired a ceiling fan and light. He threw in a small ceiling plaster repair in another spot, not on the original estimate, which I appreciated. The job was done well by him and his staff. He also checked a place on the roof that is leaking and called back to let me know I needed a professional roofer. Polite, fully competent & fast. I'd call him back in a heartbeat! The one thing was it wasn't cheap. But my old boss used to say: Fast, good and cheap... you can only choose two of those!

Work was outstanding. Came when he said he would. Was out within 2 days of call for estimate. Did the job right away.

It went very well. They showed up on time, did the work on time. Everything was finished to my satisfaction. Chris called me the night after the job to make sure that everything was OK. I've used Chris many times and will continue to use him in the future. I trust him enough to give him my house key so he can do the repairs when I'm not home.

Very well. Chris was able to start the work sooner than his original time estimate, which made us happy. His guys arrived on time both mornings, and worked all day. They were polite, friendly to our cats, and did their best to minimize their mess. During their demo, they managed to remove the problem tiles without breaking any of the others. It was a difficult job in a small space using small tiles & involving many custom cuts. Despite these limitations, the end product was very nice - all the tiles were straight & the grout lines were even. I was impressed with their work, and happy that we had hired someone instead of trying to do this complicated job ourselves.

What would the category above "excellent" be? Chris and Tony and Barry and Ryan did a great job all around, and cheerfully accommodated little extras here and there that needed doing. The floors, walls, bathroom fixtures and other such all look absolutely great. I have to think hard to come up with any negatives, and I suppose there was a minor one -- one of Chris's temporary extra painters was less than careful in the work, but Chris quickly replaced him. It is possible that Chris's no-nonsense get-the-job-done (vs talk about it a lot) might not be to everyone's liking, but it sure was exactly what we wanted. I recommend him and his crew very strongly for jobs small and large.

Well it started with a phone conversation or two and Chris determined (after very thorough questions) what type of hardware he needed to purchase. He came to the house prepared and did repair all of my kitchen cabinets very well!

It went well. He did what he said he was going to do.

I was very satisfied with him. He was very reasonable and did a great job. I would use him again.

They cleaned up after themselves. Everything was done professionally and was well thought out. He was courteous and respectful. I felt confident that whatever he was doing he knew what he was doing. The man he brought with him he had confidence in him some things doing better than himself and would assign certain things to him. He is coming back in the spring to do more work. He got the jobs done quickly, not hurriedly but efficiently. I would recommend him to anybody. I feel confident enough to send him to do work for my 90 year old mother.
