Punctual for estimate, kept service appt, did work at high quality for agreed upon price

Chris and his crew showed up on time, worked quickly and enthusiastically until the jobs were done. Cleaned up their mess. We are very pleased with their work.

I had another company put siding and new gutters on my home last year. From the start, rain ran into my home, particularly around the front window. Although the owner of the business responded twice to "fix" the problem, there was no improvement. Chris came out to look at the problem within a week of contacting him, and in less than a week after that, he had all of the problems the other contractor could not (or would not) fix repaired. I thought that he and his crew were professional and polite, and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend his work.

Working with Chris Jackson has been a mixed experience. The first time we called him, he showed up on time to provide an estimate and completed a list of honey-do tasks ably within one day. We had some trouble with our plumbing the day after he installed the garbage disposal, and he stopped by to check on the pipes within a few hours. He is a bit cavalier when working with electricity, but he gets the job done confidently and quickly and is willing to tackle most any task you can throw at him. It is convenient to have someone that can take care of a range of different tasks in one day. We requested another appointment for an estimate for some work we ultimately decided not to do this year (powerwashing the deck, regrading the side yard, constructing a new awning for the back door) and he (and his son -- he has been accompanied by one of his children 3 of the 4 times he has been to our house, but they are quiet and polite) showed up for that appointment as well. We then scheduled an estimate for a major kitchen remodel and half bath addition on August 31st, 2010, and he did not show up or call. I think we would use him in the future for honey-do lists but not for big remodeling jobs, and not if he no-shows without calling again.

Excellent experience. Chris and his crew are true professionals, and the work was excellent. Two of the replacement windows were in my bedroom, and I would have never known they were even there; that is how well they cleaned up after themselves. The roof turned out to be a little larger project than they had anticipated due to whoever put the roof on originally, but they took care of it. I did forget to ask Chris about the senior discount; (I am 62), but that's ok, because I plan to use him again very soon. This old house needs a lot of work! It is so good to know you have someone you can trust in this business. Great job guys; thanks!!

It went very well. Chris answered the phone himself, confirmed when he would be by to do an estimate, showed up when he said he would for the estimate. He was honest about needing to find a half days work in order to justify sending someone out, so we walked aound the house and found a few additional things. He was able to fit me in right away since I needed to exclude the squirrels before the weather turned. Chris called me the day of the work to confirm. When I found an additional hole it too was repaired right away. His crew did a nice job and cleaned up everything. I have no complaints at all!

I called Chris about work on our porch and he called back the same day and set up an appointment for the next week. He was extremely professional and polite. In the mean time we have discovered some other substantial issues with the house, so I had to cancel the appointment as we can't afford to do the porch right now. He was extraordinarily courtesy about it. When we do need work done in the future, he will be the first person I call given his level of professionalism.

As usual, Chris (and his help) did a great job. The deck looks great, my dryer vent is no longer clogged with lint, the inside of the refrigerator is no longer sweating and the unwanted furniture is gone. He arrived as planned, did just what we had discussed and was efficient/professional in his work. Altogether, it took about three hours.

Chris Jackson answered his phone every time I called him which was very nice. He came over in the evening after dinner to discuss the odd jobs we had for him and that was handy since my husband could be there for input. We walked him through the house and pointed out everything we needed done and he took notes and seemed interested. He showed up promptly on the day he said he would and worked until all the jobs were done. At one point I asked him to work on the outside door ahead of the stair repair since I had just put my two year-old down to sleep and he was more than happy to oblige which was extra helpful to me. He cleaned up after himself and was friendly and professional the entire day. All of the repairs he did are great and it's fantastic to have working ceiling fans, quiet stairs, a ringing doorbell, a faucet that doesn't leak and an outside door that closes.

Called Chris and he answered and we made an appointment for a consultation for the following week. I had a list (which Chris appreciated) and showed him what I needed done and he gave me a quote, which I accepted and we made an appointment for he and team to do the work. So Chris showed up with 4 men and 3 trucks and I lost count of the ladders. They did a divide and conquor and got to work. I liked how they cleaned up after themselves, but didn't assume anything as far as throwing things away, they just neatly set it aside. Chris also took care of a couple of other things that were not on my list, just things he noticed needed fixed (like my screen door). I needed a dresser moved and they did that too. Didn't charge me extra for any of it, but I gave them some because I was thankful for their service. First time I've used the services of a handyman and it was so helpful. I've already started my list for next time.

He is very dependable and his pricing is easy to deal with. He is also professional and friendly. I will continue to use.

The work turned out very well. I called him back about one thing we had forgotten about, and he came back out without any problems. He knew his stuff and was very professional. I would call him again if necessary.

Chris came on time and was very professional. He cleaned the gutters along the 3rd story of our house. He was very quick and obviously experienced. He even gave us tips and tricks for preventing leaves from getting stuck and clogging up the downspouts.

Very well, Chris and his workers were fast and efficient, always curteous, and overall did a great job.

Chris and his guys were GREAT. They did everything we asked for exactly as we asked. They accomplished a lot of work in a very limited time window we imposed on them. (We really wanted the work completed before moving into this home, and they finished it with still a week for us to get in and do our own cleaning and prep!) The wall they built looks amazing! (It looks as if it's an original part of the house.) Also the carpentry work they did on the door to the basement and on the side of the one kitchen cabinet looks fantastic. They left the place very clean once all of the work was done. Chris also walked through and did a final check on each task himself. We have used Chris before and will definitely use his services again. He's punctual with both coming over to do an estimate and with getting the work done. He is mindful of the customer's preferences but will also suggest solutions that are less expensive and (obviously) leave the final decision on which route to take up to the customer. We have never had to worry about the status of a project he has done for us. We would highly recommend him for just about any household task too complicated (or time-consuming) for the average home owner.

Mr. Jackson is the consummate professional. He responds promptly to calls, arrives for work at the prearranged time and he performs quality work. I had difficulty identifying a contractor who would attempt a fix of my aging double-hung windows. Not only did Mr. Jackson take on the job with no hesitation, he did an outstanding job; the windows work perfectly and there is no evidence that work was performed on or around the windows. Mr. Jackson also repaired some water damage to a window frame and the surrounding wall and the repair is indistinguishable from the undamaged areas. I will definitely use Mr. Jackson's services again and I will recommend him highly to my friends.

One of our neighbors recommended Chris based on work he did in her house. He was able to provide us with an estimate for both jobs very quickly. The bathroom job required tearing up the floor, stripping wallpaer, replacing a light fixture and vanity. I was a little concerned that Chris was unable to break out the different aspects of the job when he quoted us a final price. I was interested in seeing how much each component of the job would cost for comparison with other estimates. However, we decided not to do the removation work at this time, but decided to hire Chris to install the ceiling fan instead. Chris was very clear about the cost of installing the fan, did an excellent job matching the stucco-like ceiling texture, running the wire and installing the outlet. He charged us exactly what he estimated and based on this experience, we would definitely re-consider using him for future renovations.

He was very prompt to answer my call and made an early appointment to discuss the job. He called within a week to give us his estimate which was not the lowest but we felt to be reasonable. He and his crew started the job as soon as weather permitted and finished within two weeks. The cleaned up well after the job and were always polite. My only criticism was the amount of dirt that the workers tracked into my basement bathroom and laundry room which they did not clean up. Also, although Mr. Jackson is convinced that he mailed a contract, we never recieved it. Since we had delt with Mr Jackson in the past we were not bothered by the absence of a contract.

I felt as those this handy man was mocking me during his work, and was rude and sarcastic. I felt a scam alert after he came out to speak with us. He was not as professional as I thought he would have been.

I was very pleased with Mr. Jackson's combination of professionalism and approachability. His explanations of the work to be done were clear, and the work itself was done well. Will call in the future when I need work done.

He never showed up. I never heard from him again, and would not use him again.

When you call him, he comes over right away to give you an estimate. His estimates are dead on and you know what you are getting when you get him. He does the work quickly and they clean up after themselves. I cannot say enough good about him because he is wonderful. His price is very fair.

I was very satisfied. They were responsible, timely and very professional.

These guys are great, they are the best we've ever had. I am so grateful to have them. They have come over to do a lot of miscellaneous things for us like painting and appliance repair. They come over to do something and while they are here you just ask them to take a look at whatever you need and they will do it. They show up when they say they are going to, I really like that about them. My experience with them is A++++, I couldn't say enough good about these guys.
