Chris and his crew were punctual, courteous, and professional and did a great job. The latch I'd bought for the gate wasn't the right kind, but Chris was kind enough to put in a makeshift one. I am very pleased and will use him again. In fact, I'd like him to come back and replace a door. A++

We had a guy start a deck for us three years ago and never finish it. Obviously, it was in disrepair. The last couple years we had people come out to look at it, but no one would take on the task or call us back. Chris called me back the very next day I called him. He came out in a couple days, gave us an estimate and signed us on! He and his crew showed up exactly the day they said, and finished the next day as he said they would. Even worked through a thunderstorm! The crew was professional, efficient and did an awesome job on a deck that we thought would never be! The new ramp to the shed was also great. We will be using Chris' company for all of our home repair needs.

The work crew showed up on time and completed the job within a reasonable time, the job did not drag on and on. I have been assured of no leaks or raccoon holes on the roof in the future.

This was one of my three quotes I received for my complete bathroom remodel. Chris was on time for the quote and was honest. He provided feedback and is experienced. We decided not to use him due to the high price when compared to others.

He is one of the Angie’s List winners and is really nice. He is really good and very knowledgeable. He seems like he can diagnose a problem very well. He can come in and look at something and then tell me exactly what it is or what it needs. He makes the appointment out of when he is going to the work and shows up right on time to get the job done. He is very efficient and it looks like he can do a little bit of everything.

They did great work- he was extremely quick in his response time, arrived at the time he said (both to give an estimate and do the work), and he is priced fairly. He cleaned up after he completed the work and even saw a few other things at the house that needed done and took care of things- putting on plate switch in dining room and changing light bulb. We are planning to use him again on front porch repairs and outside repairs. We could not have been more pleased with the service we received from him.

Chris is very professional. I'm handicapped , so I fall a lot. He repaired the wall in my main bath where I knocked off the toilet paper holder. Also he repaired the hole in the hall where I fell. He even painted both walls. He was done in around 2 hours. He had another gentleman with him, Nick. I think that was record time for everything they accomplished. They were both mannerly and explained everything to me. Oh, Chris even wrote my check, because I can't write very well.

From the very beginning, Chris was extremely professional and courteous. I emailed him about my interest in having him complete an extensive "honey - do" list and I received a phone call within a few short hours. Chris is always extremely easy to get in touch with. I have dealt with several contractors that have been difficult to reach or constantly late. Chris and his team were such a refreshing change from this! Chris was almost always on time and, if he happened to be running just a few minutes behind, he gave me the courtesy of calling to tell me he would be 5 or 10 minutes later than expected. How nice! I found Chris to be extremely knowledgeable and his team was professional, friendly and respectful. They showed up for the job shortly after 9:00 a.m. and were working hard throughout the day until the job was completed at 6:00 p.m. The team was very considerate to wear plastic booties over their work boots while they were walking throughout the house, which I greatly appreciated. These gentlemen even did a very thorough job of cleaning up any messes that were made during the day. Upon their departure, they made sure that all of their trash and other ancillary items were put away in the trash instead of leaving it for me to clean up as I had experienced with other contractors. I cannot say enough about the professionalism displayed by Chris and the team. When we encountered a small issue after they had left, Chris promptly showed up the next day to fix it. He even showed up with a electrical cover for our laundry room and took the time to cut it to size and put it on. What customer service! Chris went out of his way to ensure that we were satisfied with the work that was done at our home. I find that it is truly the simple, considerate things like that which make all of the difference when working with a contractor. To Chris and the team - thank you for being such outstanding examples of what contractors can be! My husband and I are always thinking of ways to improve our home and you will be the FIRST people we will call. A thousand thanks. God bless you!

I purchased a home several years ago and gutted it down to the studs. It needed a complete rehab but most significantly it had no kitchen to speak of. I found Mr. Jackson here on Angies List after trying to find a good contractor through referrals, phone book, craiglist, etc. and could not find anyone who would do what I needed done in the fashion that i needed done for what I already knew was my budget. I spoke by telephone with Mr. Jackson paid my deposit and he started when he was supposed to. All work was done while I was living in another city; I came to see the work and he took time away from his family to meet me on the weekend to review the work, and discuss anything additional regarding the project. When I arrived, what he had done was worth every penny I spent. The best part was that Mr. Jackson is a professional who will not try to upcharge you or make you spend additional monies. In fact, when we were arranging my visit, he informed he had a little customer appreciation surprise waiting for me. My surprise was a little additional work he did for me at no cost. Through our conversations I was able to design my kitchen and use materials that saved me some money because he advised me on where and how I could save some dollars. When I met him, I realized that his character is an attribution to his faith . Mr. Jackson is a man who loves God and loves his family. Contracting is how he makes his living and he is not out to hurt anyone or "take" anyone. In these days of corrupt EVERYONE it was refreshing to talk to him. I IMMEDIATELY wanted to hire him for the next project and as my grandmother says "God willing and the creek dont rise", Mr. Jackson will do ANY remaining work I need done to my house. I will never call another. He has been a blessing to me and I highly recommend him. BUT he is not available till my house is finished! ;) btw...did i say his work was good?!?!? SPECTACULAR!

He had an interesting personality. He was good, but his workers needed too much advice from me. I needed to be home when they were here, because they were not being exact enough. They were not detailed orientated enough. He was not on the low end on price. He was medium to high.

Chris did a great job. Couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. He answered the initial call promptly. Gave an accurate estimate. Arrived to do the work as scheduled, and placed with a reminder call the day before and gave me a 15-minute heads-up phone call before he arrived. He worked quickly and cleaned up his work as he finished. He explained what he was doing and even advised on maintenance. I will absolutely hire Chris again. Bottom line? He gets it. He just gets it.

Chris Jackson's Contracting did some really good work in sorting out the door. It had originally been installed backwards, so the door had to be taken off and reinstalled correctly. The back fence faces on to a road and was sliding down the hill. They put 3 new support posts in. The other bathroom had previously had ceramic tiles laid but the floor was made of sawdust board and had failed through getting wet so many times. They re-leveled that floor. We wanted them to do something with the basement to stop it cooling down so quickly but he just walked away. I wish people would actually say 'We don't want to do the job' instead of hemming and hawing and walking away! I liked his workmanship and he is a nice, friendly outgoing kind of guy.

Chris and is men showed up promptly, worked quickly and performed well. They also identified other work needed to prepare our home for sale.

There were no problems. We agreed on the price up front, and did not solicit bids from any other contractors.

The installers did everything quickly and on an orderly fashion. It took them about 5 hours from start to finish.

It went very well. They did a terrific job overall and in one day we got a lot of things taken care of right. I think the Chris and his team work very well together. The other men were energetic, on time, careful, and especially nice to work with.

My experience with Mr. Jackson has been great on this job and previous visits to my home.

A single strip of vinyl siding was left hanging after a wind storm and partially broke off. Since I had extra pieces of siding, I just needed someone to get up on my porch roof and replace it above the second floor window. Chris was able to come to evaluate the situation the day after I called and managed to fit me in the day after that. He was professional throughout, calling to tell me when to expect him and then when he was delayed. He also called after the work was completed, since I didn't need to be there while it was being done. All in all, a good experience.

Chris was very responsive in setting up an estimate and executing the work. He inspired confidence, and did everything we asked him to do with no muss and no fuss and with a high degree of craftsmanship. While there are cheaper handymen around, Chris made everything easy and minimized our stress level over a variety of things that had been lingering for months or years. The no-drama approach, and the confidence that things were done right, make Chris cost-effective, and we'll certainly use him again.
