Description of Work: The first time Chris was here he fixed the framing around my front door. This included installing brick molding and changing out some bad wood. He also changed the direction a screen door opened in so it could would work with the door, and installed it for me. This was all great work and I feel like I got my money's worth. He did this work himself and listening to him I could tell he had high standards. The second bit of work I had done was replacing a messed up piece of soffit, and fixing a gutter. Again, the work was good quality and Chris' guys were nice. He wasn't around for this one so quoted over the phone once his workers explained to him what needed to be done. This one I felt I overpaid for a bit (like $400 including parts for two guys working for no more than an hour and a half). That said, it was my choice and I did so knowingly, as he did the project on very short noticed, squeezing me in before my painters came.

Description of Work: He came and did some repairs on a wooden fence. He was very personable and was easy to deal with.

Description of Work: did a job for us promptly seems to be good work, went out for a second estimate in a reasonable time, went out for a 3 job estimate and advise he wasnt interested had a big job lined up, not quite the A rating seems more like B concerned over his atitude regarding the estimate for roof

Description of Work: I called Mr. Jackson for an estimate. He answered the phone promptly. I explained that I wanted an estimate on few projects. He asked what area I was from and I told him West Mifflin. His response was that he doesn't go there, he started his business in Squirrel Hill, Shadyside and Edgewood and only goes to those areas. West Mifflin is less thabn 5 miles from these areas. His business address is listed as White Oak again less than 5 miles from West Mifflin. He really should state exactly what areas he services on his profile instead of "Portions of Allegheny County". He also seemed a bit put off by my phone call.

Description of Work: He wallpapered and installed some lighting in my house. He repaired some water damage on the ceiling.

Description of Work: Chris came to give an estimate on a closet. He is very nice. He know his work. However, I did use him as his ideas for my project didn't mesh with mine. I may call him for other projects as time goes on.

Description of Work: Chris and his helpers did a nice job tearing out an old bathroom vanity, and installing a new one. The old one was put in badly, which caused some problems for Chris, but he overcame these problems to put the new vanity in. He also had a new fawcett installed in the powder room, and replaced the top trim board on a dining room window, which had been destroyed by carpenter ants. I have used Chris before, and he is always friendly and professional. His helpers are excellent also.

Description of Work: Came to review and give estimate; agreed to price; set day for arrival; phoned before arriving; came with assistant and promptly got to work. Luckily sky cleared of rain and cement should settle soon. Claims used quick-drying cement, which was convenient. Patched ceiling with his paint, since old paint I located was not suitable. Job looks good. Was very neat and professional. Cleaned up well. spent about 2 1/2 hrs. here.

Description of Work: He fixed the dryer and a door as well as put up a ceiling fan, tool bar and wire shelf.

Description of Work: We had some plaster with water damage near our bath tub. He repaired the plaster and added a bath shield to keep the problem from recurring. He even repainted the area.

Description of Work: PRESSURE WASHED FRONT SIDE OF HOUSE. PAINTED FRONT SIDE OF HOUSE. REPAIRED & REPLACED PARTS OF FENCE & PAINTED THAT PART OF THE FENCE. INSTALLED 5 SECTIONS OF GUTTER GUARDS. CLEANED OUT GUTTERS. REMOVED KEY BROKEN OFF IN LOCK AND REMOVED LIGHT BULB (NO CHARGE).

Description of Work: REPAIRED PRIOR BATHROOM SHOWER INSTALLATION, LAID FLOOR TILE IN BATHROOM. KITCHEN & BATHROOM PLUMBING WORK, INSTALLED BATHROOM VANITY, UNCOMPLETED DRAIN CONNECTION, KITCHEN CEILING REPAIR, INSTALLED PARTIAL WALL BEHIND BATHTUB, CLOSET IN SMALL HALLWAY WAS DRYWALLED.
