Me Roger Weaver charged $450 for a home and termite inspection. It was very disappointing I asked him to go through the house with a fine tooth comb since I lived out of state. He did a very basic home inspection and stated things "appeared Functional" . He did not turn things on or plug anything in. He neglected to inspect or find all kinds of problems and issues. He stated that he would check every light socket and lights are broken. Literally hanging in the unit. Said he would check the plumbing and there are drips and plumbing water stains throughout the house. There were over 60 nail pops throughout but not a word from my home inspector! So far I have had to pay over $1000 and electrical and plumbing repairs not to mention that the gutters were completely full that's another $400 the deck is swaying and asked to be completely repaired and he didn't mention any of it in his report he said everything appeared functional. The return to the air-conditioner was completely falling apart and had to be replaced. But the "home inspector" did not notice any of it. He basically took my money and wrote a good report so that I would buy the house. I hope he wasn't expecting a good review.

If you want a meticulous inspection, this is your guy. He inspected a house for me last night and I followed him throughout. It took 5 hours. One of the realtors commented that in her 20+ years, she had never been at an inspection that took that long. Great! I want an inspector to take his time and make sure that he has all the bases covered. Throughout the inspection, he continuously explained what he was observing. And, he even offered several unofficial suggestions as to ways that we could preserve the condition of the house by properly operating various systems and occasionally checking different areas. A1 is the perfect name for this company.
