I contacted Sun-Up construction over the winter because of a leaky skylight that a previous roofer had failed to fix. Craig got back to me that day and came out to look at the skylight within a day or two. He took one look at the skylight and was able to tell me how old it was, that it was the wrong skylight for our roof and that it was installed improperly. I was provided with an estimate very quickly. Due to the winter weather and the nature of the work, the repair could not be performed for several months. Craig kept in touch and let me know that our repair was still on this list. The service was scheduled for early April; Craig and his roofing partner arrived promptly and completed the repair in several hours. They were efficient, informative and overall were great to work with. I would highly recommend Craig and will use him in the future if the need arises.

He returned my initial inquiry within hours, provide a competive bid within 24 hours, and did an excellent job with the installation. Craig and his helper did a great job from start to finish. Installation took less than a half day. I love my solar tube and would recommend it for anyone who has a dark area in their home.

Work went very well. Impressed by expediency of Craig and the installation. Clean up was quick and easy. The tunnel allow smuch more light just where we wanted it. Professional looking installation and clean-up.

I contacted Sun-Up to obtain a quote for the replacement of three failing 20+ year old skylights that were original to our house. The staff was courteous and prompt and the quote was reasonable. Craig was knowledgeable and did a great job at installation and clean-up after installation. He pointed out areas to be aware of/pay attention with regard to our roof and answered questions about how the skylights would be affected in the future when we need to replace the roof. The product and labor warranty given is outstanding.

I called Craig on Friday , October 12th and he called me back by Tuesday of the following week. I explained what I wanted to do and asked if he thought the sun tunnel would work. "Yes If I get there and determine it will not work, No cost to you "So we made an appointment for Friday October 19 at 9:00 AM. He was right on time, we looked at my house and room where I wanted the tube. Decided it was a good fit and started. In about 3 hours he was done and cleaned up. What a difference! Excellent product and contractor.. I will and would definitely recommend Sun -Up to anyone..

We are very pleased with Sun-Up's service and product. Our business interaction was quick and we were able to contract its services in a timely manner. Craig and his team are very reliable and professional. He gave us a price offer we couldn't refuse for five sun tunnels, all of which were installed in one short day. Even after we discover a leak in one of the sun tunnels, which may not have been caused by their work, Craig was quick to review the installation and come up with a simple and timely solution to the problem. I highly recommend this company.

Craig and Greg were punctual and polite, worked diligently and with attention to detail, in a professional manner. They worked as a team and did nothing to cause us to be anything but pleased with their overall performance. They were very astute in their attention to detail, including the after work cleanup of all areas that had been used, both inside and outside of our home. Kitchen and office ceiling had been leaking sporatically for a couple of years. 4 roofers had been called. Shingles have been replaced, ice shield reinstalled and recaulked. Leaks would stop for a couple of months I then contacted the plasterer fo repair work. Shortley after the last repair, kitchen started leaking more then ever. Sunup Construction was contacted. Evaluated and determined that the problem was the sky lights. They replaced both skylights in office and kitchen. To this date we have experienced no leaks. Workers were knowledgeable, professional and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this type of repair.

Craig rescued us from an over-extended contractor. He had the necessary social skills to deal with a touchy situation. He explained what needed to be done & how he would do it. He even helped us solve some related problems when the original contractor left the job. He & his assistant installed the units promptly & efficiently cleaning up after completion. He has been kind enough to return several time when we felt technologically challenged.

We met Craig at the Home Show in March 2011 and contacted him and Sun-Up to replace four existing skylights in our home. The entire experience - from responses to our calls and messages, through job completion - was first rate. Craig is one of the most professional, contientious contractors I have ever worked with. The job was done exactly as described, on time, for the quoted cost and in a clean and respectful manner.After 12 - 13 months, one of the skylights (which he had to build a special frame for because of the slightly odd size that he didn't realize because it wasn't apparent during the measuring for the job bid originally) was showing a small open area on the inside where the caulk had shrunk (no impact to function, just needed to have a bead of caulk re-applied). I called Craig not knowing if there would be an issue of asking him to come out after a year to do this small touch-up. He was on a job, so he had to call me back - which he did within an hour. He offered (I didn't even have to ask) to come out that afternoon and touch it up. He came to our house (a long way out of his way) and touched up the inside with re-caulking around the whole inside frame, so that we were still happy with the way it looked on the inside.I would use Sun-Up without hesitation on any job I did in the future (in fact, I wish they did more things that I could use them for - I liked working with him and his guys that much).

Saw Craig at the Home Show in March and kept his information. We decided we would like a sun tunnel installed on Monday so I called Sun_up and left my contact information. Craig returned my call at 5pm and said he had a cancelation on Tuesday. They arrived at 8:45 am and after discussing where we wanted it, went about installing it. By 10am they were done and packing up. They cleaned up and left no mess and the installation was perfect. The product deliver way more light than we had expected! We were very impressed and totally recommend Sun-Up Construction and the Velux Sun Tunnel!

I found them on Angie's List and they are the only ones in my area who do this kind of work. I will use them again in the future.

We had a crack in our skylight. It was not leaking yet, but we wanted to fix it before it did. Craig was extremely responsive and professional. He called me back immediately and made a time to come out quickly. He worked us into his schedule even before he thought he could. He was such a pleasure to work with and I wish that ever service provider could follow his lead and treat their customers this well!! Highly recommend!!!.
