+ -1 moreSo they came out in October to check our ductwork for liheap. It was leaking air into our attic. The tech said he felt it and would have manager call me me on next steps. Roger didn't call me, I called 4 days after to check. Roger told me the system was fine and no leaks. Christmas eve attic was 72 degrees, ice dam destroyed roof, 2 rooms in house, and attic. Near 70k in damages. I called liheap because furnace was obviously leaking air still. They came back out... tech said he definitely felt it still. Yet again Roger said it's not leaking to liheap. But this time we have google camera in house, personal reasons, and it has tech telling me he felt the leak and it's the ductwork and also the main supply plenum. So 70k in damages, all so he could save maybe 800 in profit..

It didn't take long for him to clean and service the air conditioner. He was friendly, explained the work he did, and emailed me the final invoice. + -1 moreThey were very good. The price was very good. I wouldn't have hired them if it was an outrageous amount. It had to have been fair. It was just an inspection but they did point out some stuff to be on the lookout for. I don't feel like they tried to sell me stuff that I don't need.

I also had him take a quick look at our AC unit because we noticed it was running a lot at the end of the summer. He suggested he look at it in the Spring, and I just paid for an AC inspection with the same company. This will be my 3rd purchase from this company.

They were neat, they were clean, they were in, they were out, they were very respectful. We trust them. It's hard to open your door to anyone you don't trust and we trust this company. It took about an hour to fix the furnace.

+ -1 moreThey were dogged. They were determined to figure this out. It took them 4.5 to 5 hours total and 3 hours non-stop.
Description of Work: We have 4 different zones and one of the zones kept getting really, really hot. They came in and replaced a transformer that was faulty. First, they had to find what the problem was. It was one of those things that was difficult to pinpoint. It took them a long time to figure it out. It had them flummoxed at first. Then, the boss came out with the young technician that had been here, and they both went over everything and figured out it was the transformer. Some times it worked and sometimes it didn't. They had to be here long enough to make sure to be here when it didn't. When you're zoned, they have different transformers for each zone and it was the one that was feeding the hot water to the zone. It would stay open instead of closing when it was supposed to. So when you didn't think you had heat on to that area, it kept pouring this hot water into this room. It felt like a sauna. We had several people in to look at it before we had them, and they were the ones that figured it out and fixed it.

When they left, I felt like I paid a fair wage for a fair day's work. The furnace cleaning took about a good 45 minutes to an hour. They did a thorough job.

+ -1 moreTheir technician Bob was here promptly at 1 pm, and quickly diagnosed the problem, found the part locally, picked it up and installed it. Quick fix, furnace working beautifully! And all the work done just in time for a quick trip to the airport to drop off a relative catching a flight. Can't say enough about the prompt response to my e-mail, quick schedule of the repair visit, and fast repair to restore heat -- luckily during a fairly warm period in late December. I've used Climate Systems for the last couple of years for my annual check-up. So glad I found them on Angie's List!
Description of Work: I returned from a 5-day Christmas trip to find I had no heat. I e-mailed Climate Systems around 10 pm at night. They called around 8 am the next day to schedule a service call for the 1-3 pm timeframe.
