The gentleman was very nice and we told him we didn't want to spend that much money. We asked if he could do it for a certain amount of money and he said he'd get back to us but never did. Giving us a quote he was pleasant and prompt. He gave us the wrong quote, but did it in a pleasant way.

I interviewed four different waterproofing companies. Advanced Basement Solutions stood out from the rest because the gentleman who came out to give the estimate did a more thorough exam than the rest. He played detective a bit by trying to understand why the water was intruding into my basement. It turned out that an exterior downspout, which disappears under some pavement, had become detached beneath the rear steps that adjoin the house. They agreed to do this repair along with the french drain for an extra $200. When the time came for their visit, the weather did not permit exterior concrete to be poured, but they agreed to come back and complete the repair in the spring, once it had warmed up for only the promised $200 price. On the original date, they jackhammered out the minimal amount to allow the drainage pipes to be rejoined. I called in the spring and they were true to their word. they jackhammered out the rest of the sidewalk pad and refilled it. As far as I can tell, the french drain has worked completely since it was installed, as there was been no sign of water intruding through the walls into the basement. After the installation was complete, they took the time to show us their work, tell us how long the concrete would take to dry, and show us how to test the sump pump (without pouring water in!). I was initially a bit suspicious of the low price estimate, but their sharp eye in diagnosing the contributing problem with the downspout won me over, and I did not regret the decision to hire them.

Bill came out, looked around the house - inside and out, measured the moisture levels on the basement floor, and then told me that I didn't have a foundation problem and he couldn't help me. He told me what he saw and suggested that I contact a plumber. He was very professional and helpful. I appreciate his honesty.

They gave me a really low bid but I decided to go in a different direction.

This company was very professional; came when they said they would; their work was neat and they did just what they said they would do, within the original estimate. Would definitely use them again.

Every job went very well and my foundation work is guaranteed to prevent any more movement in the foundation. This warranty is transferrable to a new owner. The guys who did the work did an excellent job, were very professional, cleaned up perfectly and explained everything in detail. All costs were very reasonable and the company is very responsive to any questions. I would recommend this company to anyone having foundation and/or water problems.

The person who came out advised us as to what would work after looking at it. He just gave us a ballpark figure and not an exact estimate. My husband was the one who dealt with him as I wasn?t here.

They did a good job. I have had them out three times in the past to check the basement walls.

I was selling my house and the home inspector had stated that the foundation wall was pushed in a 1/2 inch at the bottom. Although the inspector did not call for any needed repair, I called Advanced Basement Solutions for a second opinion to ensure that everything was okay. I asked the company to inspect my foundation for any need for repair or preventative measures. The Company was responsive, prompt, informative and recommended no action needed at this time (either for repair or for prevention). The gentleman that handled the inspection gave tips on what could be done in the event that there ever was a problem (including supporting straps that prevent the wall from buckling and achors that could pull the wall back). Both of those would cost approx $3600.00 which seemed like a reasonable price. I find it very rare that a company would operate with such integrity as to not try to take advantage of the situation. I would recommend them to everyone.

They have been very responsive. They came out and installed the system. They did it incorrectly the first time and they came back out right away to fix the problems. We're getting ready to sell the house and there were some questions about it that came up and since their guarantee covers any inspections they are working to make sure everything is covered. They have been very responsive.

I interview several companies. These guys came through with the lowest price and were able to do the job in 1 day. I had several factors that made it necessary for the entire job to be done in one day. Also, part of the work required going under walls and under stairwells. They arrived on time, got to work right away, did their best to minimize dust. Warned me when they would be loud (I was working from home). They did all the jackhammering at once. And they notified me before making decisions.

These people are very professional in the work. They are communicative in explaining the product and how it works. We got what we had ordered and so far are happy with it.
