Removed old; replaced new within 1/2 hour.

Devey Construction came and did a free estimate for me. It took them 2 days to initially call me back, but they are very busy. Usually people who do a good job are, and that is why they are busy! They planned on coming in to do the work on a particular day, but due to the weather, they asked nicely if they could complete a larger outside job for a current customer so that they did not have to re-rent equipment again. I had no problem with this. Most companies today will not be honest with their schedule and will just delay customers and not let them know why things get delayed. I am a business man and understand this. Due to this unusual honestly, this has actually GAINED my trust in this contractor! Other contractors take note of this! They called me immediately when they came acrossed an issue of underlying water damage and asked permission to do the repair and at what cost to finish the job promptly. Even with this delay, they repaired my kitchen ceiling from the leak, removed all the bathtub tile and relined my tub shower with a new setup and still completed these 2 jobs in ONE DAY. I told them what I needed and they did EXACTLY what I wanted and did not try to talk me into anything else. Top service and honesty. I think these guys will do well with their business if they keep up this good work and great business ethic...

We had a roof leak in one of our bedrooms and my husband couldn't locate it from the outside. He set up a time for John Devey to come look at it and give an estimate as to how much time and cost it would take to find and fix the problem. I had gotten estimates from other roofers, some of whom said they had to replace the entire roof, and others who gave estimates 6 times as high as Devey Construction. We chose Devey not only because of the price; we were happy to utilize a local business, they set up a service appointment quickly, they arrived on time, worked efficiently and were actually able to complete the job quicker and at less than the price they estimated. Not only that, but when I arrived home from work that day, the only thing that gave away the fact that a roofer had been at my house was the tidy pile of old shingles that was tied up and stacked next to my trash cans. (The cleanup was very thorough.) We couldn't be happier with the overall experience and will definitely use this company again if we are in need of home repairs.

They were responsive, reliable, and economical. They kept their word with the work. I felt that they were efficient. His sons work for other construction people, and they came and helped their father. I believe that the work would've cost more with another company. Sometimes, he would be a little late.
