All work was provided by two excellent workers, Dan and Dean, with Dan doing the bulk of the job. During the entire job, they were extremely professional in the execution of the project and very considerate of our space and needs. The boss, Bruce, was accommodating throughout the job, from initial planning, detailing of each phase, and through various changes as the work progressed. Bruce even noted after it arrived that the bathtub we ordered had a finish that we probably hadn't anticipated. He called us immediately, let us inspect it and then returned it and let us chose another one. During the work on each room, Dan and Dean constantly made sure we understood what they were doing and what came next. If there was a question about a particular step or something needed adjustment in placement, we were always asked. The quality of their craft and the pride they take in their work is evident in the finished product. One room needed stained wood for a window frame and the baseboard, which had to match that installed years earlier on the door frame and surrounding rooms. Perfect match! This is just one example of the care and skill provided by this crew. Perhaps the best indicator of how the customer comes first at L. A. Mattson and Son is the fact that we discovered a few minor issues a couple of days after completion and Bruce addressed each one quickly and completely. This latest is one in a long line of small and large projects this company has done for us. Each one reinforces our belief that for any remodeling or home repair work, L. A.
