From start to end the kitchen renovation process went extremely well. Don made sure to include me through it all and made sure I was pleased with each step. Whenever a decision is needed, Don explains the options and impact of each. He and his employee, also named Don, are prompt every day and attentive to details. They do the work right with high quality workmanship. I am extremely grateful to have had this experience that has resulted in beautiful kitchen. Without hesitation, I plan to contact Don Volkert for any future projects I need done.

Don recently completed our master bath remodel . From start to finish , Don had an attention to detail, a creative eye for design. He listened to our thoughts and wishes and made suggestions for the best use of the space . He communicated well through the whole process . He is an incredible craftsman. We recently wrapped up our third remodeling project with Volkert Remodeling, most recently being a high-end renovation of our master bath. Don was a pleasure to work with. He provided outstanding customer service and communication throughout the project, was respectful of our home while he was here, and created a beautiful space with a high level of attention to detail. Don and his team are the definition of true professionals. Extremely knowledgeable, patient to describe all aspects of the project, up front, fair, and honest when it came to pricing, and highly skilled in their craft. They provided me the best estimate by far of any of the contractors I contacted for this work. My bathroom project was wrapped up in about 8 business days; it looks amazing and functions much better than before! They were very accommodating to any special requests, and kept an especially clean space for a project that is typically understandably messy. I am VERY happy I went with them for my project, and have already recommended them to several of my friends and family if they are in the market for an upgrade.

Five years ago Don and team remodeled our hall bathroom, and we were so happy with their work that we hired them again to remodel our master bathroom. Don and his team are professional, courteous, conscientious, detailed-oriented, and a pleasure to work with. We are thrilled with our beautiful new spa-like master bath.

Don is a consumate professional with an eye for detail and he insists on everything being done correctly. His crew is equally committed to doing the job right and very puctual. During the project, if Don identifies previous workmanship that was not up to snuff, he brings it to your attention and recommends the best possible remedy. He envisions ways to improve on design and brings great ideas to the table. Don has already renovated a kitchen and bathroom in our previous house, and a bathroom in our new (old) house. He is already scheduled to do the kitchen and another en suite bathroom/closet in our current house. We highly recommend Don and his crew. We're sure you would be equally thrilled with his work.

Don and his team did a great job renovating our kitchen and first floor layout. He is always problem solving and coming up with creative solutions to issues as they arise. The results have been greatly appreciated. Was very flexible dealing with major issues which expanded the project. This was the third job we have had him complete and future projects are planned with him so we have been very happy with his work.

Don was the most down to earth and practical contractor, but yet mindful of his craftsmen ship to ensure the project maintained the highest standard. His communication is speedy and real time with completion of our project well within his expected timeline. I would recommend Don to everyone who wants to remodel!

This is the third project Don Volkert has done for us. He previously totally remodeled our kitchen and main bath. He is always prompt, professional and neat. Shows great attention to detail. Provided good ideas to make the renovation even better than we imagined. Would highly recommend him. He is a pleasure to work with and worth waiting for his availability.

Don and his team provided excellent workmanship in a respectful manner. Communications wth Don were excellent, knowing that I would have to wait for the services to begin because of a very heavy schedule. He completed the project within the time frame he predicted. He was able to transform my bathroom into a beautiful place with lots of storage. He moved the toilet to a new location which other contractors were unwilling to do. I love my new space!

Don and his team were great to work with. They are a small crew, they move fast, their cost is reasonable, and most importantly, their quality of work is high. We met with Don in February 2021 to discuss a total primary bathroom remodel, including relocating the door to the bathroom and adding a new wall. Don's proposal was clear, his cost estimate was reasonable, and we decided to move forward. Don had 8 months of work to do before he could get to our project, but we used the time to visit his preferred suppliers and select materials for our project. While on site, Don and his team were courteous and professional. We made a handful of changes during the course of the project which increased the overall cost, but Don and his team were flexible to accommodate those changes. The project turned out great and Don has gone out of his way to make sure we are happy with the final product.

We have used Don and his crew for 4 Projects in our house now. He has remodeled our Kitchen, Bathroom, Replaced all our windows, and opened up a wall on our main floor and then redid the floor. Each job was done to the highest quality, Don was on site everyday, and checked in with us as things came up or any decision needed to be made. We have 2 more projects to do and he will be getting both of those jobs in the coming years.

Don has to be the most honest contractor in the entire Philly region. He's done a number of projects for friends/family and has always done a great job for a very fair price. He is one of the last where his word means something. Hiring him to redo both bathrooms, kitchen, all flooring and some other miscellaneous projects for my house was a no brainer. He showed up as promised, the quality of the work was excellent and he came up with some great ideas that I wouldn't have thought of to make the design work better overall. Additionally, all of his guys care about what they do as well which makes for a very well done project. Very happy and would always go back to him in the future.

We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our project! Don and his crew were a pleasure to work with and their attention to detail was incredible. Our kitchen and floors turned out better than we could have ever imagined and the process was amazingly easy. I will definitely be returning to Don for our next home project!

Don (and his team) did an A+ job for us professionally and more importantly, my family (including children) now consider Don a friend of ours. Don stopped by our house more than twice during the proposal/bidding phase during the summer of 2020. We chose to move forward with Don because of (i) the manner in which Don presented himself was very comforting to us, (ii) he was extremely knowledgeable with the work that was going to be done and (iii) he was happy to answer all of our questions both basic and complex. Don walked us through the process of purchasing materials by directing us to certain qualified vendors as well as providing advice on design elements based on his extensive experience. Don kept the work project within his estimated time-frame of four-weeks. Throughout the project, Don and his team showed up promptly each day at 7.30 am and worked straight through the afternoon. Don and his team were respectful, accommodating and focused on the project. There were three unforeseen complexities identified during the project in which Don clearly explained the situation, suggested several options for a solution and ultimately overcame the complexities. Incredibly, Don even stopped by a number of months after the project was complete to make sure we were fully satisfied with our new kitchen and flooring throughout the entire first floor. Don is extremely detailed and truly is a master of his many crafts. We are so happy we found Don and will absolutely call him for our next project. We've been recommending him to our network of friends & family.

Don Volkert came in, worked with my ideas, provided options and of our 4 estimates had the best price. He was the only contractor we talked to who thought outside the box. He and his team were punctual, friendly and neat. The work they did was fabulous. One bathroom kept the same footprint but looks totally fresh and different. The other bathroom required reconfiguration and now looks like it belongs in a spa! We are beyond pleased with Volkert Remodeling and would definitely use them again!!

Volkert Remodeling is a talented, reliable and skillful company for home remodeling. They remodeled our kitchen in just 3 weeks. They worked with me on product selection and helped with a beautiful and functional kitchen design. This major renovation required wall removals , gutting old kitchen and complete remodel. They were extremely easy to talk to, clear on costs and services, showed up every day on time and left each day clean and tidy. The craftsmanship was excellent and we would highly recommend to anyone seeking a skilled and experienced team to complete your home renovation.

We were very pleased with the work Don and his staff did. They completed the renovation in about 4 weeks and everything looks great. Don is a pleasure to work with and wants everything to be perfect; excellent attention to detail. They identified some plumbing issues when the ceiling was removed and were able to do repairs promptly. They are able to do most all of the carpentry, electrical and plumbing work themselves. We definitely recommend this company for kitchen renovation work and plan to use them again when we redo our bathroom.

Don Volkert and his crew did a fantastic job on the complete remodel of my master bath! The result is exactly what I wanted and is so pretty it should be in magazines! He has great ideas for incorporating your thoughts into the finished work, and thinks about the little things you are not aware of. He is patient to deal with from start to finish. We were very impressed with Don's work - he was easy to work with, knowledgeable, paid attention to detail, clean, respectful, and responsive to our needs and wishes. He gave valuable input when asked but did not overstep with his own opinions. He kept us informed of the progress at every step and followed up on every major and minor decision. No question or detail was too small or silly for him. He helped us create an amazing, top quality bathroom that puts a smile on my face every time I use it.

Beyond expectations! I was pleasantly introduced to Don at a local wholesale distributor while deciding on deck material for another project. At that time, I was considering remodeling the interior of my home which included a fully renovated kitchen, three renovated bathrooms, new hardwood floors and doors, and a new staircase – basically a “new” house. Don and his team are top-notch! My face beams every time I open my front door and much more as I walk through my house. From the very beginning, Don well exceeded my expectations every step of the way. His team showed up promptly every day. Don walked through every aspect of what he and his team would do. He would promptly contact me if there were any issues so that we could determine how to proceed. He and his team’s workmanship and attention to detail are masterful. Not only that, they are fantastic people – caring, thoughtful, and courteous.

Bottom line: I highly recommend Don Volkert and will be rehiring him and his crew for our future remodeling jobs. When Don came out to quote my bathroom remodeling project, I knew he would be our contractor. Of the three companies that quoted us, Don had the most original and creative idea for our master bathroom while still being within our budget. He gave us great contacts for sourcing our tile and furnishings, and in early July 2019, the project began. Every house has quirks, and ours was no exception. Don dealt with these unexpected finds - like old pipes and bad valves - in a straightforward, quality-oriented way. Throughout the project, I had full confidence that Don would fix any issues that would cause us trouble down the road. He was committed to doing the job correctly, and the ease of mind that provided was priceless. His crew is small, but they work hard and were respectful of our space and our schedules. Though we had not included small bedroom renovations (installation of a ceiling fan and recessed lights) in the original quote, Don was flexible enough to perform this additional work for us at a reasonable rate. After we thought the job had finished, we found that the plumbing had backed up into our basement because the old, corroded, cast-iron pipes had not been used for several weeks. Well, Don fixed that, too; he installed a new section of pipe, cleaned out the clog, and repaired the buckling floor tile caused by the overflow. Don gave us a master bathroom that I never could have imagined, and I'm excited to have him back for our next home renovation project!

We are so extremely pleased with our new master bedroom, walk in closet and master bathroom and guest bathroom. Our 1960s master suite was remodeled by turning two bedrooms and our tiny bathroom into a beautiful, luxurious, spacious master suite. Don was so helpful in coming up with design ideas and options and helping us to stay in our budget. His creativity, vision, attention to detail and helpful suggestions and recommendations made this project fun and the outcome wonderful. Don and his crew are completely trustworthy and so talented. I would highly recommend Volkert Remodelig. He's also redone our kitchen and our new siding and windows too - basically he's improved our entire home and I couldn't be happier with the results.
