About us

OUR MISSION: To provide the highest quality of tile and grout cleaning, restoration and repair; to enable homeowners and business owners to enjoy and appreciate the beauty and functionality of their tile and grout surfaces; and to instruct proper maintenance techniques and provide the best products to keep their tile and grout beautiful. We will make you love your tile again! In 1992, we recognized the strong demand that existed for a professional service to clean, repair and restore tile and grout floors and showers. The work, at that time, was being done primarily by handymen and amateurs. There needed to be a professional who could analyze the condition of grout and tile and then determine which service, repair and products were needed to professionally restore them to their original condition. Thus, the Groutsmith was born. As the owner of The Groutsmith Brandywine, my job is both interesting and rewarding, in that my customers are happy when we arrive and even happier when we leave! The difference between before and after is just that great!

Services we offer

Groutsmith Brandywine can make you love your tile again with the use of proprietary materials that are far superior to products available in stores. Believing in' Restore not Replace' our techniques and materials can save you thousands of dollars! Our technicians have a special process for loose tiles so we don't have to lift them, and can replace broken and cracked tiles on most surfaces. Restoration can include grout and caulk repair and/or replacement. Deep cleaning and color sealing grout, offering over 40 pigmented colors! If there is a problem I come back to fix it! A happy customer is our goal!

The grout smith team did an outstanding job, our shower looks new again. Mike came back, himself, to fix a minor problem. Mike is very customer service oriented & will go out of his way to ensure his customer is satisfied.

Excellent. From the quote to the finished product was perfect. The young men that came to our home were personable, polite and knew their product and the process for getting the results we expected. They explained what they were doing and how I should care for the floor afterwards. They cleaned up any mess (which was minimal) and, in less than four hours, I had a completely new look to my kitchen floor. I would recommend Groutsmith Brandywine to anyone.

Until I found th Groutsmith at Brandywine - I was thinking of ripping up the old tile and putting down new. Our bathroom floors look new now - and then we did the kitchen - it looks better than new, we changed the color of the grout.
Description of Work: I’ve used Groutsmith Brandywine for several projects - my house is 40 years old - grout darkens over time but in a one day’s time Groutsmith Brandywine’s technicians had the grout - and the tile - looking brand-new. They can clean the old grout, they can repair worn and damaged grout - and they can even paint grout! Your grout - and tile - will shine again and - it lasts. Groutsmith Brandywine provides a great service and does a great job!

Mike tried to play games with his written proposal/contract as to the price for work in my home. his pricing,in writing,,,.......he went from about $4,800.00 to about $4,200.00,in writing, and when I provided him a written proposal by his competition for $2,200.00 he dropped his price in writing to $3,100.00 form $4,200.00 I accepted his $3,100.00 written offer. yes, Mike's was still a higher price but he says he has over 2 decades in business bad Mike!!!

Mike and his team did a beautiful job revitalizing the tile in my kitchen, mud room, and laundry room. They were very professional and did the job in one day. We also had them put the non-slip finish in our master bath which is great. I would highly recommend them.
